The Teahouse Restaurant
One of Stanley Park’s historic seaside landmarks, this popular meeting spot is minutes from downtown Vancouver and boasts an outdoor fireplace on the restaurant’s patio, which looks out to sunset views of Georgia Strait from the western tip of Stanley Park.
The natural west coast atmosphere is perfectly enhanced by Executive Chef Alan Tse's cuisine using fresh local ingredients.
For private events, the Teahouse has three distinct rooms; perfect for seminars, meetings or special occasions of any kind. Each room offers ocean views that are unmatched in Vancouver.
The Teahouse is a contemporary dining experience with a difference, accompanied by the longest sunsets in the city.
We had teen visitors: our daughter’s elementary school friends from the last city we lived in. They enjoyed the fish and chips. My husband and I enjoyed our beautifully prepared fresh salads: Caesar w/ cooked Pacific sa^&
we kindly asked for a table in a quiet area of the restaurant as it had few rooms. we were set in the middle of the busiest room under the only 2 spotlights available, no candles no romantic atmosphere. tourists in sweatpants everywhere you look. the paint going of the wall we were sat next too.
we ordered the special menu - the only special thing was the waiting time, 35 min between the meals. each meal served by a different person, we received 4 baskets of bread and butter as it was all constantly late.
I would highly recommend Teahouse, however, BEWARE there is a parking fee. We did not see the sign, and being from the US, did not realize that we should be looking for it. Anyway, the food was worth the parking violation we received. Will be visiting again before we leave Vancouver but this time, we will get a parking sticker.
Wonderful views and the ambience was perfect. The service was wonderful and the food was as expected.
Fantastic scenery and great location, but unfortunately not a great food.
The location is of course fabulous and so is the service. The food however is nothing special. I have been there a few times with friends as it is centrally located and there is parking. We all agree that the food is only OK.
Food and service were superb and the view is one of the best in beautiful Vancouver. We made a note that we should come here more often.
One minor area for improvement - while the furniture in the main dining are looked good, we were at a table near the entrance and the wooden table looked a bit beaten up and old/shabby but the view was incredible.
Service was decent, she was nice. Food was terrible. Tasted like it was all heated up in a microwave or George Forman grill. Not impressive.
Great Sunday brunch with a gorgeous view. Very child friendly. Food was good and the whole experience was great!
Beautiful views. Our server was wonderful, offering prompt and friendly service and the food was delicious.
great location, great food, great service, AND great tip on the parking!!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our brunch at the Teahouse in Stanley Park. The food was lovely and the service was exceptional.
The Teahouse is always a dining treat! Food is always delicious and well presented. Our server was attentive but also left us to take our time and visit. The restaurant was initially quiet due to the weather and then picked up as the evening went on.
Great place, great service and view. The birthday girl was very happy. Thank you for everything!
It was a great setting for a date with exceptional service. I was a pretty disappointed by the food though. We were there for Valentine’s Day and had a set menu. I had the sablefish which is my go to when it’s on the menu but was disappointed. The fish was cooked properly but overall felt the dish as a whole was under seasoned and the risotto was undercooked.
My husband and I had a Valentine's dinner date at the Teahouse, and really enjoyed it. The ambience was peaceful and elegant: we were in the conservatory wing, and really enjoyed the view of the snowfall outside! The service was discreet and professional, which we always appreciate. We had the set menu, both choosing the filet mignon which was prepared exactly as we wanted. The Amuse Bouche was a bit of a disappointment - a bit bland - but the pear and endive salad was fresh and delicious, and the dessert - profiteroles - was perfect.
From the funny waiter and incredible food to the amazing view our evening at the Teahouse was definitely a night to remember. Our waiter made sure we had everything we needed while also cracking a few jokes and making us feel right at home. Exceptional service and food
Beautiful spot to dine. The food matches the scenery. We started with the Teahouse Stuffed Mushrooms and then split the fish and chips and shared the brussel sprouts frites. It was all excellent. Finished off with the creme brulee. One of my favourite restaurants in Vancouver.
nice food and service good for conversation. Will back
Lovely view, food was very good, it was a bit pricy but the ambiance was worth it.
Excelent overall expirience.
Will for sure recomend this place to my friends and coworkers.
The Teahouse is consistently good... The food and the service never disappoints.
Yes I loved it and brunch was amazing. Would recommend this place to anyone.
I am very sorely disappointed with the salad as I expect that it would be a freshly made salad. I order the Nicoise Salad and it was freezing and tasted like the dressing was put early in the morning and the tuna was seared the night before. I did get my salad changed to a Mediterranean and it was not much better for the salad bit and surprised that Mediterranean had lettuce as I was expecting similar to a Greek salad. The only saving grace is the hot grilled salmon. And luckily, I shared a smoked salmon on flat bread and that was good. My 2 other friends ordered Duck Confit with waffles and watermelon salad and was pleased with it. One other thing is we expected to come on a Dine Out but did not see any blackout periods such as weekends as last year we came on a weekend. Last year I enjoyed my food but this year good and bad.
our server Mauro was first class - the ambiance was lovely.
Nice atmosphere. Food was great! We went for dine out and the food was awesome. Will definitely go back even if it's not dine out
We booked well in advance and requested a window table with ocean view. The Stanley Park Tea House delivered - perfect table location with a million dollar view. Food was excellent, expertly served and we didn't feel at all rushed. So great!
Great service and delicious food for the dine out Vancouver. The service and location are amazing and I will definitely come back soon to try some more from the great menu.
We made a reservation for Dine out Vancouver for lunch and when we tried to
Order it they told us that they did not have it for lunch.
The food and the service were very good and the waiter was great.
The poached pear dessert was delicious! Great way to end our night.
Excellent service. Food was amazing. Wonderful waiter we had
We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. The fact that it was during the winter made it all the better--no crowds or long waits. Should note that the "outstanding value" vote I gave had to do with the fact that we visited during Dine Out Vancovuer
From the start till the end was a perfect dinner! The service the food, the location!!Highly recommended!
Absolutely delicious food .. my salmon was perfectly done .. the skin so lightly crispy & the salmon was done to a perfectly medium cooked. Few restaurants can make it as good as your restaurant. Will definitely be back again .. thanks for an amazing experience. Service was also excellent
Wonderful views from all seating areas. Very friendly staff and management. Very worth you time and money .
The Teahouse is such an iconic Vancouver dinner spot for a quiet and always satisfying dinner. The view is outstanding, the ambience is so cozy and the staff is amazing. Highly recommended!
Excellent! Good food and good services! Nice place to hang out with friends!
