The Teahouse Restaurant
One of Stanley Park’s historic seaside landmarks, this popular meeting spot is minutes from downtown Vancouver and boasts an outdoor fireplace on the restaurant’s patio, which looks out to sunset views of Georgia Strait from the western tip of Stanley Park.
For private events, the Teahouse has three distinct rooms; perfect for seminars, meetings or special occasions of any kind. Each room offers ocean views that are unmatched in Vancouver.

I really enjoyed our dinner here last Saturday and my hubby was so happy that I brought him here on his bday.. it's worth it
Great last minute reservation with a great location
Beautiful view and good service
The restaurant was Covid prepared while maintaining its lovely ambience and outstanding service. The food was excellent and our evening was very enjoyable.
Masks should be mandatory to the table. Lighting was almost fluorescent in the main hall. No low ambient music, just some club goers getting wasted before they go out and loitering around their table. I get that the tablecloths have to be paper but it felt like a longterm care facility. Not the Teahouse that we once knew. If you do make a rezo make sure it's near the window or on the pub side which has a bit more personality.
Very covid safe, great service and delicious food. As expected!
Great service, good Covid-19 protocol,
Food was very nice
Tea house Restaurant was fabulous! Great food, great location, attentive service and friendly staff.
The food was delicious and the room was lovely/cozy. The service could improve.
Really disappointed in our service/server. Just not impressed. Had to ask a few times for things, waited for her to take our order, had to wait to order another drink, wasn't overly friendly, etc
The Tea House is an amazing restaurant located in the perfect spot with amazing food. A great tradition of having thanksgiving dinner in the Park. A recommended spot for everyone for every special meal.
Great ambiance, beautiful place. Food wasn't the best but a neat place to experience.
Super service, food was excellent and very good ambience
Amazing place! Will return for sure. Beautifully lit, and the location is so beautiful.
A wonderful place for special events or cozy romantic dinners.
A beautiful Thanksgiving dinner on the heated patio! My dining companion and I were, however, devastated to learn that we were the last patrons expected to be served on the patio for 2020… Since the patio is covered and has heaters already in place, the decision to close it is a real travesty in my view. For many of us, eating outdoors is the only comfortable option from a safety optic, and bundling up is a minor inconvenience. Please please please reconsider!
We arrived on time for our dinner for four. We had a short wait because the table was not free. They gave us a gable to wait, provided water and drinks. When it came to paying they were really kind and comped 3 drinks and 2 coffees. The food was outstanding and the salad that came with the turkey dinner was really tasty. We were so impressed that we will dine at the Tea House again.
We always have Thanksgiving Dinner here. It was a bit below the usual standard this year. We ordered the set dinner, cocktails and wine with the dinner. But the soup came before the cocktails for some reason. So the waiter took away the soup and the cocktails arrived. But the soup arrived a few moments later. The main course arrived but the wine didn't and we had to ask about it. The turkey was moist and delicious. The beans which were served with it were barely cooked. The stuffing was tasty but didn't seem like it was home made... I could be wrong. We feel sorry for the TeaHouse after the closure of Stanley Park Drive all summer and were glad to be there again. They need to get back on track a bit at this point.
This is a lovely, memorable place to go for a special occasion, particularly traditional holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas. I've been there several years for Christmas, and this was the first Thanksgiving dinner I'd been to. I believe due to covid and the prolonged closure due to the bike lane, they may have had to cut corners a little. I say that because the turkey was in the form of a turkey roll, and the stuffing was a stuffing roll. There was also no gravy boat. The portions were ample, but this is not quite the quality they usually serve at the Teahouse. However, it was good and I was so glad to be back at the Teahouse, and I'm looking forward to returning for Christmas.
Honestly the food was not upto standard. Ingredients didnt taste fresh. Dessert was like from cheesecake factory
We had a beautiful meal and received excellent service. The occasion was to celebrate my father’s birthday and the entire staff and the manager, Mark, made his evening a delight. Thank you Teahouse team!
Thanks for the window seat!
It was a super brunch on a sunny day, good food and excellent service.
Really appreciated the low noise level. It is a big reason for coming back to Tea House, or even going to any restaurant. But more restaurants are way too noisy these days. Spoils the meal and and conversation.
We wanted to experience a number of special events in the past seven months and truly enjoyed the service, food and ambience at the Teahouse.
It was perfect. Thanks a lot.
It’s too bad about the menu. Serving French fries with meals?! Awful . Menu needs to be revamped
One of my favourite restaurants for a special occasion!
The Stanley Park Tea House is located in a very beautiful & romantic setting on Fergusson Point. A lot of wedding receptions take place here! The restaurant is very spacious with seating overlooking English Bay & they also have a large heated patio. The staff are great with fast, friendly & professional service. There is a wide variety of items on the menu & the food is delicious. My wife had their fish & chips which were very fresh & served in large American size portions. We used to dine at the Tea House frequently until the City took away parking & vehicle lanes. We are happy to see that the City has finally re-opened vehicle lanes in Stanley Park & the Tea House parking is back. It is great to see that this restaurant is accessible once again!
The food was excellent but the chef has the mind set that risotto should be al dente. It was too hard. We had it sent back. They were quick to remedy that. All was excellent, especially the social distanced tables.
Wonderful place in which to dine and reminisce, as we did, excellent food, service and even value for money. Surprising, one can pay more at the top end noisy “view-less”places. Thank you staff!
Really cozy atmosphere with incredibly friendly staff. Our server was Sasha and he did a fantastic job making us feel at home. He was also very attentive about COVID-19 procedures. The chefs went above and beyond with dish display and the food was delicious, especially the sablefish. Definitely the place to go for a special occasion or just to treat yo self.
This restaurant is one of our favourites and it didn't disappoint with our brunch service and food.
I was disappointed because when booking online I asked for a reservation outside. On arrival I was told that no reservations were being taken for outside and we would have to wait 3/hr.Nothing was mentioned on the website.
The Tea house is a classic, great sunset views into English Bay, the Freighters light up the bay once the sun goes down.
Staff are great and friendly.
Food is great good menu and wines.
Very atmospheric -- beautiful setting. The food was very good (if a bit pricey -- which just means this makes for a good special treat!). Friendly staff. A delightful experience!
The Teahouse is a purely European style Restaurant: quiet music, excellent service (not to much, not to less), great proportion quality/price/amount of food. We will be soon back!
It’s clear and much appreciated that the owner, staff and management are working hard to make the restaurant safe and comfortable for dining during this pandemic. The food, the service and the view remain among the best in town!
They wouldn't have a table for me. Lost my time, money and part of my vacation
Was there for Afternoon tea, share a fish and chips, it was great!
Excellent food ambience and service
We came for the picturesque view from Stanley Park but were treated with great food & service as well. An evening to remember
