THis is a quite good Greek restaurant. None the items we had were particularly interesting or outstanding. The service is excellent, and I can recommend this place but the cuisine is not special based on our sampling.

My wife and I are recent transplants to area from Bellevue where food options abound. Trying out Issaquah for closer options, we chose Tantalus for Greek options not available elsewhere on Eastside. Great favorites, Saganaki (!! Yum), Gyros, Dolmades, Mousaka, just like we like. Very reasonable price and parking. Little rustic room, but hey, this isn't Bellevue. :-)

The restaurant is great. Have been there many times and always good. Friendly staff and good food. One warning is to call for a reservation and they told us that reservations through Open Table often don't get to the restaurant.

My wife and I had a craving for Greek food Friday night, and we were not disappointed. My wife had the leg of lamb, while I stuck with the gyro. The gyro meat was thick and succulent...best I've ever had...and all the other accoutrements were great. The leg of lamb was perfectly done, and very flavorful. We topped our meal off with dessert (baklava and something that sounded like "Galactica"), and they didn't disappoint. This review wouldn't be complete without mention of the superb service, beginning with the attentive and gracious owner down to the young and enthusiastic wait staff. All of this made for a very pleasant evening, and I would recommend Tantalus for authentic Greek food any day!

Great food and service was very welcoming. My only suggestion would be to have some music playing very lightly in the background as this would have added to the ambience. Certainly a place I will return in winter on those cold nights where this food would be ideal

Food was good, service was terrible however. Apparently they were under staffed. The server sat us outside and then forgot about us for half an hour. Then we kept having to go look for him for drinks. But, we'll try it again some other time. Maybe it will be better, I hope so because we love Greek food.

We love this restaurant. I wish they were busier, and yet we're always so glad to be able to get in. I hope they never leave!
