Contemporary French / American
An eclectic twenty seat restaurant featuring seating overlooking the open kitchen and an intimate environment. Chef Carl Dooley utilizes French techniques to showcase both seasonal ingredients and international flavors in his four-course prix fixe menus. In addition, there is a menu of light snacks and à la carte dishes paired with choice wines and craft beers at the standing wine bar.

Please note, specific tables may be requested but cannot be guaranteed.

Reservations highly recommended. Prompt arrivals requested, as we cannot guarantee seating when diners are delayed by more than 15 minutes. Private parties can also be arranged upon request. We recommend booking these at least three months in advance.

It’s a bit like Menton but at your neighbors house. Fun dinner date with my wife! Wines were outstanding.

For a birthday celebration with my husband, the Table was just about perfect. We ordered two different prices fixe menus and shared - everything was delicious, and accompanied by the wine pairings, also felt very luxurious. The Table is an intimately sized restaurant, ideal for two or four people. The service was friendly, not intrusive, and we felt as if we were receiving special & kind treatment.

The food was wonderful. I made my own mistake with your menu, having both the beef carpaccio and the duck. Delicious both, but too much for my digestive system, as I experienced ongoing gastric distress until today (Thursday). But this really was my mistake, not yours. And we, together, chose a Malbec from the West Coast that was not all that special. Again, our mistake.

Neither of us could eat dessert; we took it home.

The food and the attentive service were wonderful. Perhaps a very very tactful server could suggest to folks like me that "It might be that two meat courses would not be best, since our accompanying sauces are quite rich." Not sure I would have listened but who knows?

This was one of the best meals I have enjoyed. The beef carpaccio was such an incredible bite of food, and the ravioli had such wonderful flavors.

The staff was very personable and made us feel right at home. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

Truly wonderful from start to finish. Totally approachable food with subtly complex flavors. Visually so beautiful. Warm service. Awesome wine pairing. Planning our return trip in April! This may be our go to annual birthday dinner celebrations.

Table offers a 4-course tasting menu with wine pairings for each course. There are 2 options for each course. We like to order one of everything and split each dish so we can taste everything. The menu changes frequently so it makes no sense to recommend any single dish. However, ALL of the dishes are wonderful - fresh, flavorful, original and fun. The staff is friendly and accomodating and very knowledgeable about the wines and food. The information they provide truly enhances the experience.
It is not inexpensive, but for a special occasion, it is worth every penny.

A very pleasant surprise! We each had the 4 course meal and split the two selections. The wine pairing is recommended. One of the best food experiences we have had in quite a while. Highly recommended. The staff and chef were very informative. We’ll definitely go again!

One of the best tasting menus I've had - four courses with a multitude of in-betweens that had great flavors and textures. Note: no cocktails on the drink menu.

Unfortunately, the service was _not_ up to par. We had a reservation for 6pm, got our check at 8:40pm, and at 8:47pm were politely told that there was another group waiting who had a reservation for 8:30pm. In their rush to have us out, they only brought out 2/3 items we had left with coat check, which we only discovered once we were home.

Overall, terrific tasting menu for a casual dinner, but wouldn't recommend for date night.

I was looking to go for a long while, and it so happened that when a friend visited town there were two spots at the counter. I was excited!
I went in with high expectations, hearing so many good things about the place, and they lived up to expectations. The food was wonderful and the service as well. I recommend it wholeheartedly. GO!

The menu was even more unusual than I've experienced here before. Somewhat at a loss for what to choose, the server suggested I have the opposite item from what my guest was eating. I did so and had many wonderful dishes I wouldn't have normally selected ... all of which I greatly enjoyed. I had the wine pairing, and I don't remember having a meal in many years where the wine pairings enhanced both the flavor of the food and full palate experience of the wine as much as during this occasion. My favorite server was explaining about the wines, and half the fun is hearing her enthusiasm for the vintners, the grapes, and the quality of the wine in the context of the food. An awesome time was had by both of us!

Delicious meal on 1/9/2019. Two of us ordered everything on the tasting menu (4 courses with 2 choices for each). Best dishes were the pastas - I had a tortellini in broth with oxtail and my son had a ravioli with celery root and sea urchin. Both were delicious and the pastas were cooked perfectly.

My husband and I had a lovely time at The Table at Season to Taste. The four-course tasting menu is very filling and reasonably priced, especially since service is included. We also highly recommend the wine pairing. Though it's not the most interesting or delectable tasting menu in Boston (see O ya for that), the food is very good and the atmosphere and service make the experience top notch.

we’ve been coming to the table since it opened, and we generally love the food, service, and overall experience. i guess what i’ve noticed lately is that the prices are higher and in the case of most of the wine list, the prices are rapacious: a can of una lou rosé, for example, sells for about $10 a can (two servings). the table will charge you $34 for that. we get it that the markup on drinks is about double; but that’s more than triple! it’s just too much as compared to other offerings in the table’s dining space. we’d still recommend it for special occasions, no question! the food is amazing (portions aren’t too big), and the service is brilliant. the table gets the atmosphere just right too; so it’s great for a date when you want to chat without raising your voice.

I had wanted to try The Table at Season to Taste for a few months and made a reservation about 2 months out. It was well worth the wait! While they "advertise" a fixed, four course menu, there were several bonus foods served throughout the meal: house-made brioche bread, cured venison, and sorbet. And, the courses were not 2-3 bite dishes, but more 5-6 bite dishes. You will NOT leave there hungry! (Bonus: our parting gift was a house-made granola bar which was fantastic for breakfast the following morning!)

Girlfriend and I have been dying to go here but couldn't find time because of her schedule. Finally made a reservation and made it work. Arrival was great, hostesses greeted us at the door immediately and were very friendly. My girlfriend is vegetarian so we asked for a vegetarian menu and were able to get one. She said her meal was great, and the vegetarian choices were well thought out and not just an afterthought of "oh we need to have meatless meals" like some places.
We had a few drinks too, I had a local cider which I felt like paired well with the menu that night. Their wine list was large and a few of the waiters are sommeliers so all the wines we tried matched really well with the meals as well.
Dessert was great, two options that night so we each got one and shared.

Our go-to restaurant in Boston for any special occasion or if we want to make sure one-time visitors from overseas are guaranteed a memorable and excellent meal. This last visit was for a birthday dinner and the food was exceptional, our waitress was very engaging and knew the menu and wine list at as high a standard as some of the really fancy places we’ve been to that costs 4 times as much and the food at Table still wins hands down. Each dish was delicious, adventurous, perfectly executed, but most importantly, very well balanced. We loved that the gratuity is included in the bill which shows the respect and care management has for their employees (and this is reflected in the exceptional attitude in service), we would’ve loved to leave even more tip for the exceptional service! Thank you again for the wonderful dining experience!

As much as it pains me to say this, we were disappointed by our experience here. Don't get me wrong, the food was good, and the service was excellent. But, for the price point, we were expecting a little bit more. The food was good, but the flavors were too delicate. It just felt like there was something that was missing. I wasn't expecting to get hit in the mouth with flavor, but it just felt one dimensional. The one exception was the butternut squash tortellini. That was our favorite dish. And not that I wouldn't eat that meal any day of the week, but for what we had, like I said, the price point was a little high.
