Cedar River Farms Prime Rib
Glass Wine Recommendation: Chronic P Syrah / Murphy Blend. Bottle Wine Recommendation: 375 Emeritus Pinot / 375 T. Amarone
No new menu items. No bartender. Lobster tail was chewy and little flavor. Salad was served in a soup dish.
The steakhouse was better in years past than it is now.
Food was delicious as always, love going to eat here while in Cripple Creek.
great place for a nice quiet dinner. We have been going theree since it opened years ago.
The last couple months we have noticed that our food at The Steakhouse at Bronco Billy's has changed a lot. We have gone there for many years and now it just is not the same. I always order the filet which used to be very tasty and tender. This weekend my steak was tough and had no flavor or seasoning. My husband and our friends ordered the New York steak. Their steaks had no seasoning and my husband's had a lot of grizzle in it. Miss the loaf of bread that they used to serve.
My compliments to our server, Sandy. We always request her as she is so efficient and happy.
Unfortunately I don't believe we will be eating at The Steakhouse again.
Rut-Roh. Been going to BB's Steakhouse for 20+ years, been there at least 50 times. I'm a fan. It has been consistently very good for a pricey night out - until this last visit. Somethings new and not for the better. Wife had a NY Strip that was small, flat and overcooked. Looked like something you'd get at Outback steakhouse. I used to get the NY all the time, it was big, thick and cooked just right. Had to roll my sleeves up to finish it. I got the bone in Rib-eye and it was thin and fatty. I didn't even finish it. We both had green beans that were under-cooked, and I like al-dente vegetables. How do you under-cook green beans? They used to serve a small honey buttered bread loaf, now it's just 4 small slices of bread. Whatup! BB Steakhouse? Better pull it together or your superior reputation will be shot! I won't go back until I hear from the locals that things are back to normal. Good luck!
Love the steakhouse have been going for years, always the same great food! Amazing!
Wonderful as usual. Food was excellent. Waitress super nice. Couldn't ask for more!
The Steakhouse at Cripple Creek is a satisfying place to eat. While it's not cheap, the food is excellent, the service attentive, and the ambience just right. We like the prime rib, the soup and and the bread. Reserving and accessing our table is quick and efficient.
Table was so sticky, silverware, glasses etc. stuck to the table. Very over priced for the quality of food. Creamy onion soup was outstanding & so was our server.
Sandy always provides excellent, friendly service. Other staff members are also friendly and helpdul.
Great, as usual. I look forward to the delicious food and wonderful service.
Great restaurant with wonderful service and delicious food. We come here every time we come up to Cripple Creek. I always get the Filet, it's tender, juicy, and all around fantastic. You have to try their Crème Brule and Cheesecake. Made in house, worth saving some room for.
Our server - was outstanding. We enjoyed our food and service.
Very nice place - steak was very good. We really like the Porthouse. For desert, the cheesecake is awsome.
WORST MEAL WE EVER HAD AT THIS STEAKHOUSE. IT IS USUALLY GOOD BUT THE FOOD WAS COLD, LATE, DRY TENDERLION. SLOW SERVICE. NO ICE IN WATER
We enjoyed our waitress,Sandy and the food was delish
My husband and I celebrated Valentines day at the Steak House . He had the New York Strip and it cut like butter. I had the fried Shrimp and they were wonderful. Not greasy at all. The waitress was outstanding she was friendly and upbeat and was always asking if there was anything she could get us. I am sorry I didn't remember her name. We will be back with friends for another good meal.
Birthday dinner. Soup was like warm if that. Crab cakes room temp.
Baked potatoes with entrees were hard and brown under the skin. Over cooked possibly.
No creme brulee.
Have had better experiences there so I know what to compare it to. Food was not up to par.
Service was good. Waitress can not help what the back of the house serves for food.
We had very tough Prime Rib. Too tough!! The service was outstanding!!!!!
The STEAKHOUSE at Bronco Billies is the Best fine dining restaurant in Cripplie Creek. Its the only fine dining restaurant in Cripplie Creek.. The Calamari is delicious!!!
with high blood pressure, i was concerned about the salt level of my fish. The staff relayed my concern to the cook. They made my salmon without any salt! what a relief, beyond what was expected, and perfectly delicious...thank you for a very enjoyable meal, and my heart thanks you too...
A bit disappointed from all the times I have been here. Service was very slow, food was good but not great like it has been in the past and for paying a premium for the food, I wouldn't necessarily go back anytime soon. Don't know if they switched management and staff turnover?
Love the steak house, my fav restaurant! We always go to the Steak House for Holidays, special occasions
I have been there many times and this was the first time ive ever been extremely disappointed service was slow food was not cooked to order all around disappointed
Bread was ok but tough soup was great shrimp scrumptious huge something other than brocolli would have been nice
We LOVE going to the Steakhouse! One of the reasons we come to Bronco Billy's. We even brought our granddaughter recently and we tell our friends how much we like the restaurant often.
We are already looking forward to our next visit 🤗
Easy Website to navigate and make reservations. Hostess was very friendly. Waitress extremely friendly and professional. She stayed on top of everything. Perfect timing with salad and meal. The very best cooked and flavorful steak I have ever had.
Took an hour to get in and get food despite having a reservation. Steak almost raw and loaded with fat. Fish and wild rice dripping with butter. A healthy choice made unhealthy.
Amazing...Will be back next in June for that amazing Prime Rib....
Superior food; as always, excellent service (Julie); highly recommend The Steakhouse to anyone who likes a respite from the excellent gambling at Bronco Billys.
Sandy always gives us friendly, excellent service. Food was very goopd.
The best ever--food was great and service was wonderful.
Friendly service and hosts would highly recommended a great dinner
Had the Prime Rib. Tender and juicy. Will definitely return visit.
The SteakHouse is rapidly becoming a way over priced poorly run restaurant. The quality of the food is going down hill along with service. They can not get the orders right on the simplest of requests. Asking for balsamic vinegarette dressing comes out as oil and vinegar. If the server is not sure what you are requesting they should ask. The vegetable of the day is the same one from the previous week. Why not change it up? Did they over buy and not want to use a different vegetable? These might seem like small issues but over the number of years my wife and I have eaten here they are getting to be the new normal, not the exception. When the price of the food has risen anywhere from $10 to $30 an entree over the last two years it is time to look elsewhere.
I ordered shrimp, it was so greasy I couldn’t eat it and it was practically raw. We were not told what the vegetable was, it was carrots and they were shriveled up and had horrible seasoning on them, I couldn’t eat them, my husband got sick eating his and ate Tums the whole way home. Portions were very small and certainly not worth the money we paid to celebrate my birthday. This was to be a special day with a special meal and what a disappointment!
The food was delicious as always. My wife and I finally learned to share a meal. We had the bone-in ribeye Oscar style. Also had table side guacamole and shrimp cocktail. Everything tasted great and the service was awesome.
I've always had great food and service here. This time, my boyfriend's New York Strip was not cooked correctly though. It was supposed to be Medium Rare and came out very uneven with rare spots and well done spots. My steak was perfect and amazing.
Absolutely! Food is outstanding - so is the service! I eat there often and have never been disappointed.
The Steakhouse has steadily gone down hill. Service is poor, food is poor to fair and value is very poor. They have raised the prices on their menu and eliminated many popular dishes. Since the sale of Bronco Billy's a few years ago the whole place has gone down hill. Less help, higher prices, poor quality food and very poor service. The Steakhouse used to be a place that my wife and I liked to take people to. Now I would not take anyone that wanted a good meal at a reasonable price.
