The host when entering restaurant was great. Was seated right away.... After the initial hello at table, it was quite some time waiting to order drinks. Then received drinks and waited a long time to take order. That was how the rest of the evening went. The Waitress service was poor at best. Had to Wait a long time for everything. Had to ask for bread, waters etc... Waitress was not readily available at all, most of the time we didn't see her. The best part about the whole experience was the Bus girl, she was helpful and nice...... At these prices, I was expecting better....

The food was excellent as I had heard it would be. But one thing that was incongruous was the fact that two of three drinks I ordered were really badly made. I mean awful. First I had ordered a capirihna, and after the waitress came back and admitted that the bartender said they didn't have cachaca (the Brazilian rum-like liquor in this drink), I said they could make it with white rum instead... but when it came, it was in a tall glass loaded with that horrible margarita-mix-like stuff that is mostly citric acid (for those who don't know, a capirinha is a muddled drink where they muddle limes and sugar in the glass and then add the liquor). The bartender hadn't even looked it up to see how it is made, or something. Then I ordered a Mai Tai to see how they handled that... again, way, way off the mark and loaded with yucky mix or bottled lime juice... undrinkable. I sent it back and got a pineapple juice with rum and that one was palatable. So the question is, why is a restaurant of this caliber employing a bartender who can't even make a Mai Tai?

Great food but unfortunately they allow people to smoke right outside. A group of 4 cigar smokers ruined the end of our meal as every time the front door opened a cloud of smoke came wafting in! Yuck!

We decided to try it for the restaurant week menu. Service was very slow. We had A 6:45 reservation and ordered as soon as our waiter was available to take our order. Our appetizer took a bit but our main was not served until 8 pm. It was warm but not hot and the Brussel sprouts were undercooked. Fortunately we were not in a hurry. The restaurant was busy but stafffing seemed adequate.

Our steak was grossly under done for medium rare; cool and blue in the middle. We asked to have it sent back. Once returned to the table, some of the same food delivered on the first plate was still there on the returned plate now cold and inedible. Several times the manager walked by, first time obvious I was eating alone, second time obvious my husband was eating alone. The server was good, but unsure if he was observing his orders prior to coming out, and not sure if he alerted the manager of our service issue. We sat for a significant amount of time for this problem to be fixed, to the point we ordered a second glass of wine each which we feel should have been comp'd. Stark Steakhouse has comparable pricing and significantly better service.
