Service was slow and needs improvement. Manager took action to correct the problem
Pretty much the worst. Menu looks great and was excited to try the items, but unfortunately, everything from entering to leaving the restaurant was horrible. The only silver lining was the caesar salad, it was killer. The dressing was out of this world.
We went to The Shrimp Factory for our anniversary dinner. My husband ate the fried seafood platter and was very satisfied by the different options on the platter, as well as the taste and quantity. I'm not a seafood eater, so I ate Cajun chicken pasta. It was delicious, but not as spicy as I expected. We were seated at a window table with a water view. Our server was attentive but not pushy, and the value was good. Great evening!
Very disappointed. Won’t be going to this restaurant again.
Shrimp, crab, artichoke and spinach dip was a delicious (albeit decadent) appetizer
Food and atmosphere was good. Service could use some improvement but believe it was just the server we had.
Enjoyable, pleasant server, we arrived early seated right away,
Server Trish was fantastic. I had the blackened grouper florentine which was quite tasty. The interior of the place is a bit dark and dated but the food was good as was the service.
Food was good , service was great, steak was a bit over cooked but overall pretty good
The manager initially gave us a hard time about seating our large party in nearby tables despite our reservations. Later when we asked our waiter if he could bring out our three year old's grilled cheese sandwich kid's meal with the appetizers or as soon as possible he told us he could not accommodate that. Our meals took an hour and a half to come and we could tell they'd been sitting under the lamp for some time. Our three year old fell asleep without his dinner. The bill came with an underserved 20% tip already added.
We had a great dinner during our stay in Savannah. Our server, Anna, was great and provided great service.
The service was great. I took my girlfriend for a birthday dinner. We had the Calamari, shrimp and corn rissoto, shrimp trip and the creme brulee cheese cake. Everything was delicious. The squid was not chewy and the sauce was a nice Thai sweet chili sauce. We were seated a few minutes earlier then our reservation. Waiter had our drinks to us promptly and food order was delivered in the time it takes to make a rissoto from scratch. Very satisfied with the whole experience.
The food was delicious, the service was not top notch. Host at the check in was a little rude when telling us we would be seated right at our reservation time (we were five minutes early). Table size was too small for four people to sit comfortably. Food was excellent and a great value - waiter was as attentive as possible working tables all over the restaurant. Drink refills slow and removing dishes from the cramped table could have been improved. But again, great food!
Very good grits and shrimp! Service was quite professional and accommodating.
The food was fantastic but be prepared for a LOT of noise. We were seated at a large table with our kids, only to be seated right next to a bunch of drunk, very loud, college-age kids. Our waitress was a bit overwhelmed with both tables but she did her best with everyone. Again, the food was GREAT and with a slower night it might have been a bit better overall.
The crab legs were good, albeit a little over cooked. Bread app was delicious.
Stick to shrimp! Bbq shrimp appetizer was good.
Crab stuffed flounder wasn't edible (they took it off check without being asked to). the rice accompaniment was dry and not completely cooked.
Had chosen the restaurant because of waterfront location...unfortunately a full parking lot was between restaurant and water!
On a positive note the waitress was pleasant and apologetic.
The food was not worth money. It tasted like frozen food that I could make at home. Do not recommend.
Efficient service, professional staff, and the food was great.
We were a party of 8 and everyone at the table thought that their meal was delicious. If we return to Savannah, we will definitely go back.
The menu needs more options for lunch. I picked this at random from the website formt mother and aunts birthday. I traveled with my mom from SC and met her sisters from FL here. The menu was disappointing as to the fact you it was very limiting for lunch choices. Our waiter was awsome, the tea was very good dor a restaurants.
Great food + great service = great experience. Called ahead for reservation and that was the right thing to do. Can't wait to go back again.
The rolls were brown and serve, salad dressing bottled, appetizer served with entrée, shrimp and crawfish were previously frozen and lacked any real flavor. Meal was pricey.
When we go to Savannah we always stop here. We are never disappointed either. The oysters are our favorite. Everything is always delicious.
Please, please order the Pinebark Stew. It was one of the best dishes I've ever had. The 3 adults and 2 children in our party all loved their dishes. It will be on my must go every time I make it to Savannah.
Service was excellent. A bit disappointed in the crab cakes. Everything else was good.
Food and service was excellent! Our host was absolutely amazing. The food was hot and very flavorful. I’d definitely dine there again!
Phillip the server was great. Food was good. We had a blast.
I am from Miami, Fl. This was my first visit to Georgia. The first night I tried to go here but the wait was an hour, I was too hungry to wait. But my last night in Georgia I made a reservation. The best I must say, I saved the best for last! Thank you for the great experience, see you soon 😜
Had to wait 20 min past our original reservation. Once seated had to wait an additional 10 minutes before a server came to our table.
Myself and kids loved it at the Shrimp Factory, we will be visiting again soon.
Arrived a few minutes early for a 4 pm dinner reservation and was told to wait outside because lunch still being served - could have easily been seated and ordered drinks - wait person at door not very friendly - could explain why restaurant not very busy.
Visited The Shrimp Factory because of a favorable online review - did not come close to hype
The service was stellar. The food was awful. We had stuffed crab mushrooms, shrimp, rice, and pasta alfredo. The crab had too much pepper. It totally over powered the crab. The Alfredo had burned pieces in it, causing the whole dish to taste burned. The salad dressing and pimento cheese spread were the only good things and not worth the exorbitant price we paid. Not recommended!
Really enjoyed our dinner there! Food, service and atmosphere were all perfect.
Waiter was not attentive. Did not come to table after food delivered. We had to have another server find him to get our bill. Food- one meal was ok. Second meal was cold, and dried out. If waiter had checked on us I would have sent it back to kitchen and ordered something else.
The service was so slow. It took nearly an hour for our food and drinks. Items were brought out randomly instead of in proper order.
We enjoyed eating here. Great food and wonderful service. We will be returning soon!
Food was ok. Restaurant smelled horrible
Service was second to none. The food was great.
We were celebrating our anniversary. It was stated on our reservation and no one acknowledged or asked if we were celebrating or why we were dining with you that night. Waiter Philip starts off well and then leaves you hanging about your meal. Didn't stop by much.
