Great food and service - by the kitchen so a little noisy, and very smoky smelling but overall very good
Really tasty food, pleasantly surprised. Loved my seafood arrabiatta
Very good food
Excellent food and atmosphere
Great place to eat - excellent service and atmosphere!
We started with the crab cakes which were heavenly. I got the filet, hubby bone in ribeye and son NY strip. All of us raved about the flavor and all were cooked as ordered. Sides of garlic mashed and Brussel sprouts. 5 stars for all. They brought us warm bread and offered to bring more after the first basket. Would definitely recommend.
Great food, service, and comfortable atmosphere. My husbsnx and I both enjoyed different steak dishes. Had pleasant booth by the window. Looking forward to trying other delicious dishes on upcoming visits.
Solid steakhouse. Good food and service
My husband and I both had the prime rib. Both our cuts of meat were very tough. I subbed the mashed potatoes for a baked potato and they were awful! Two bites and I was done! The service was good though.
Came here on vacation. It was very good! The specials were very tasty. Not sure how you make cauliflower taste amazing but it happened. Definitely recommend.
My girlfriend got the filet mignon special, it was bits of beef, not sure what the original cut was. I got the NY strip, meh, over seasoned, not USDA choice or prime a lesser quality in my experience. At least they are open
Ok. We had the special and it was served with a different vegetable then mentioned. So the food was ok and they reduce the bill a bit which was appropriate. Thank you. Waitress was really nice and I bet she has a great smile behind the mask.
Food is good, but as people who do not eat red meat - the selection was limited. Was a little surprised to not have chicken on the dinner menu!
We were visiting on vacation, my steak was over cooked. However, the waiter fixed it by getting me a new one. But by the time it arrived my husband was almost finished with his meal.
While the service was very good. I found the food to be average. My husband and I had the ribeye it was cook just the way I like it. However, seriously over priced. I’m a steak person and have had better for less. Our sides were Garlic Mashed which were luke warm at best also the mushrooms which were ok. I did enjoy the potato soup it was very good but again warm at best. Our reservation was at 5pm so they were not busy.
We had reservations at 5:30 and arrived a little early. We were the only ones inside the restaurant the entire time we dined! There were others upstairs at the bar in open space. The menu was limited with not all things on the menu available (no prime rib and no cauliflower) and it was a pared down menu from what we had experienced in the past. We chose to have barbecue. The beef brisket was extremely bland. The ribs were huge and very smokey and the pulled pork was good as well. The cole slaw had no dressing. The service was good, but it should be when you are the only ones in the restaurant!
From start to finish, we had a very nice dining experience. The service was spot on. The food quality exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend the Bone-in Ribeye medium rare +.
An attractive and diverse wine list with price points to accommodate anyone’s tastes.
We were on spring break with our sons and wanted a good steak dinner. We loved this place! The food was amazing and our waiter, Mario, was enjoyable!!
The steaks we ordered were tough and poor in taste, far too overpriced. Our server was friendly, but had very limited knowledge about the menu both food and drink. For the price of our bill in relation to the quality of food I would never come back.
Excellent food . Very good staff.
Good selection of items on the menu.
First, our waitress was super nice and gave her best. She was covering the bar by herself and served several tables. The restaurant seemed understaffed, though everybody was super nice.
Our main course came three minutes after our first course was served. That was a bit a stress. We ordered their special BBC, for which they seem to be famous for, and 2 of the three meat varieties came totally cold, and we had started right after it was served. The pulled pork was warm, not hot, edible, it was actually very tasty. Our super nice waitress immediately reacted and got us right away hot BBC back. It was ok, not great. I think it must be super difficult to serve fresh and to the point made BBC for a whole evening. I would not order this again. We liked the atmosphere and how nice the waitresses were. Not sure I would go back, tough. They won’t mind, the place was packed anyway.
Excellent rib eye and the server was spot on with her recommendations on what to order and honesty on what to avoid.
Although the restaurant had a nice vibe, the food was average / below at best. Ordered the filet medium rare and it came out black &bleu/ extra rare and it had alot of silver skin. They did make it right and sent another glass of wine on the house though. I’m not a fan of that deep char flavor either vs a sous vide style .
Also, they waiter lacked a connection with the table. He either was new or just had a level of arrogance that didn’t sit well with us. I’d look elsewhere for a steak dinner.
This restaurant is "Tired" in appearance and imagination. Ambiance aside, the food is way overpriced for the quality served. Both my wife and I ordered the Halibut ($42 ea) , our friends; the elk steak. Friends said the elk. was "ok". But the Halibut???!!!....I've had supermarket brand fish sticks that had better flavor and TEXTURE than this $42.00 bland, mushy piece of .....fish. No wonder it was so easy to get a reservation on short notice. Stay away.
Short staffed so service was slow. The BBQ is not authentic Texas BBQ. Ribs were tough as leather and I’m not sure what happened to the brisket. Their BBQ pit may be from Austin TX but whoever smokes it sure isn’t from Texas.
nice place. corn chowder and fresh baked bread were excellent. hubby ordered steak medium. the outside edges were BURNT. zinside was medium. would probably go back.
We were disappointed. The wait staff was shot handed and they were hustling, however two of five steaks were overdone . They cooked two more, but that left half the party eating and half not. For the high price of dinner, it should have been much better.
Food was great, but we waited over an hour for a simple meal.
Service was nice- food was okay- took 1 hour and 20 min for the food to arrive
It’s was nice
Great place , great people.
Good food and drinks
Food was excellent and we loved our waiter Mario!
We visit Salt Creek every year when we come to ski. We love the atmosphere and the food. This time, I ordered the filet medium, and it came out very rare. They took it back to cook a little more, and it came out black like charcoal, and smelled burnt, even though it was still very rare. They took it off my bill. Everything else was great. We will still go back next year.
Beautiful restaurant with amazing food and service!!
Inattentive service. Ridiculous prices, given local alternatives.
Excellent service, food was great. A little noisy, but to me every restaurant is noisy. We will go back.
Food was great
Definitely not worth the money. I had bbq that was tough and dry. My wife had a filet that was supposed to be cooked medium and came out rare. She sent it back and it came out better but over cooked. The restaurant was almost empty and they sat us next to a table with loud people. Why not give us a nice table up front vs back by the kitchen??? I would not suggest going there and with I could get my $94 back because it was not worth it we had better food in town for half that price.
We walked out after seeing our appetizers. The food was poor, the service was mediocre at best. The price point combined with the lack of ambiance and the quality of food clearly sent a message to us five that this restaurant may be in financial trouble or at least lacked the very basics of excepted cuisine for the price being charged. In addition, we were seated in a corner "love" booth for five full sized men. The booth had metal bars sticking up that were not uncomfortable but completely instance to have a customer either sit on or even try to navigate a way to sit comfortably at the booth. I would never recommend anyone go to this restaurant ever!
Your party ordered an appetizer and made the judgement that the food was not up to you haughty standards on the basis of the size of the plate the dish was presented on??? You neglected to mention that you did not eat your appetizer, was rude to your server and walked out on 5 meals that were already prepped and cooking in our kitchen. Both the staff and management would greatly appreciate if you would grace your supercilious attitude at any other dining establishment other than our own.
