Great food and amazing service! Made the last night of our vacation very special! Ashley took great care of us! Highly recommend the specials of steak medallions and Cajun swordfish and shrimp.
Very good food selection.....
I had the Elk....big portions on all 4 of our selections.
The food was not the good The restaurant was cold. . Prime rib was tough. My soup and salad was late and came out after my dinner was served. The server was nice. The manager did comp my soup and salad. Do not think I will dine there again.
Filet was good. Baked potato was dry and overcooked. Wait service was a bit slow, I had to flag down the waitress a couple of times. Did not get a dessert since we waited 10+ after we were finished for her to show back up.
Good place for dinner after a day on the hill.
Food quality is good, Elk was excellent.
Wine list is not as listed, many not available, a problem.
Had reservation but still had to wait over 20 minutes. New York strip was griddle. Filet was good.
Great ambiance. Appetizers and salads came out at same time. Steaks were supposed to be medium rare and came medium getting towards medium well. Not worth the price.
Enjoyed our meals very much. Prime rib was tender and delicious. Sides were all excellent. Our waiter was attentive and did a great job. Peach cobbler for dessert. Yum
We got there for a 6:00 reservation and the restaurant was relatively quiet. By the time our dinners came out, things were filling up! Our waitress was friendly and efficient and the food came out quickly. We had the calamari appetizer which was good. Then we all had filet’s which were cooked as ordered. The grilled asparagus was my favorite part of the whole meal!!!! Would definitely come back again. Family of 4 (2 teenage boys so they eat like an adult), appetizer, 4 filet’s, no alcohol and the bill came to just over $150. What I was expecting.
We were on our family vacation and chose to eat here for one of our dinners. Waitress did not know specials and had to read them off of her order pad and was not familiar with wine menu. Appetizers were decent and food was fair. However, our son ordered a ribeye (which they said was their specialty) and wanted it cooked medium rare. The first steak they brought out was cooked medium for over half of the steak. When he sent it back, the chef cut into the part that was medium rare and had the waitress bring it back out to tell us that part of the steak was cooked like he had asked. Really? For a $37 steak shouldn't all of it be cooked like you asked? And what high end restaurant sends a steak back out to a table if the customer was unhappy in the first place? They did end up cooking a 2nd steak after we sent it back again, but this is totally unacceptable at this type of restaurant. The manager or owner came over and said that was not common practice for Salt Creek, but that was too late. We do travel to Breckenridge every year and we will NOT return to this restaurant nor would we recommend that anyone else go here.
Sold out of many items
Even took 20 minutes to get some fresh baked bread on the table - which arrived cold
Busy spot with a nice crowd on Saturday night. Priced as a high-end steak house but the food quality and atmosphere are more typical of a casual dinning space. Decent food but the price was much hire then the value.
The food was definitely overpriced for what it was, but our server was excellent.
We had a large group and a few of us were running late. The restaurant was very understanding and took great care of us. Everyone loved their food choices.
Open table menu says it has king crab. They do not. Also, I went through 6 bottles of wine (ordering off the menu) and they didn't have any of the bottles I requested.
Miserable management. Miserable wait staff. Loud. Mediocrity spells it all. Skip it and go across the street to Briar Rose.
Excellent cowboy steak - we shared and had a salad and Mac and cheese to share. Everything was excellent. Good attentive waiter.
Great food, service and atmosphere! Loved the stone and copper decor. Our steaks were cooked perfectly! The brownie dessert was delicious.
Steak was tasty but seasoned a bit too much. Loaded baked potato was bad. Small and over cooked. Very good service we loved our waitress.
Shouldn’t call this a steakhouse
My husband and I went here for our last night's dinner. The meals were amazing. I had the beef medallions and he had the cowboy ribeye. We would rank them as one of the best meals we have ever eaten. The waitress was awesome. The only thing that caught me off guard was the heavy smell of wood burning. It was a little overwhelming at first but I forgot about it after the bread came. lol
Jason our server was great! Scallops were delicious!
Loved the steak, potato and salad. London broil elk was not quite as good.
Thought the food was okay but overpriced
Steak was just okay and was fatty
Steak....Great. Service....Great. Wine selection was acceptable. Will try again and hope restaurant is as good as it was this past week.
Lots of large groups that night, very good food and excellent waitress. Very nice experience.
Terrible service and the food was atrocious. Had a good meal here in 2017 but after this weekend will not go back.
We were disappointed on several accounts. First, we arrive on time but had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. Second, we were seated in front of a cold air vent. Third, there were no good hearty dinner salad choices. Fourth, my husband ordered the salmon (special of the day) which was completely rare in the middle. Our waiter did rectify the situation by bringing him a new dinner and taking that meal off of the bill.
We expected better.
Overall the food was fine. One steak was cooked as requested, the other steak took 3 attempts to get is right. Manager made an adjustment to the bill. Service was really good. Nice place to take your family.
Service was great, food was better! All was good and well until the club upstairs turned their music up so loud the base was vibrating our table. Too expensive of a meal to not be completely satisfied
Would go again - steal was great
Very pleasant staff and atmosphere. Prices a little high and service a little slow. Overall pretty good.
One of the best restaurants in Breckenridge for a meal after skiing, good food, reasonable prices , atmosphere and service excellent.
The food was excellent. The service was ok until the place filled up, then our waiter was not very attentive. We didn't get a few drinks we ordered before the food arrived. He only checked on us a few times after we got our food. I ordered coffee after the meal and never got it. Not sure if it was his inexperience or overworked wait staff.
Kristen was a fabulous server tonight. Host asked if we wanted to wait for a booth. We should have said yes as our table seemed cramped between two large parties.
Ordered a fillet medium. It came out medium well, dry and overcooked. As a lean cut, overcooking makes it extremely dry. Server, Shaun, did not ask how the food was. He did not even visit us until 15 minutes after our food arrived. We we're almost done eating. I was not compensated for the overcooked meat. Everything was very slow. Do not recommend.
We (2) had a very enjoyable dinner at the busy restaurant. Wasn't sure about my reservation since the reviews were sort of mixed. However, we were seated promptly, experienced great service and loved our dishes. We shared the 3-meat barbecue with the cheesy corn soufflé and coleslaw and also the peach-blueberry cobbler. Both of these dishes were ample and a great value.
I had the fish of the day - Striped Bass & my husband the Elk London broil. Both were very tasty & the right amount of food. Our waitress Alexa was very attentive to our needs & efficient!
I would go back!
