Food was excellent although we ordered our steaks medium rare and they came out rate. Great flavor to the meat and the oysters were excellent as well as the truffle risotto. Service was a little slow and he recommended the crab cake which I thought was just ok. Dessert was complimentary since we were celebrating an anniversary. Giant chocolate chip cookies with whipped cream. Great martinis.

The service was really outstanding, but our experience with the food wasn't that great. The mustard sauce/in the crab cakes was overwhelming of a flavor. The John Dory fish that my wife ordered was extremely salty with the sauce they added. The steak I ordered was good, but not great. We just felt under-whelmed by the food and it wouldn't be a location we choose again.

My wife and I had a wonderful evening at The Royce...our anniversary and my birthday are on the same date, so the staff was very attentive to both occasions for us. We also enjoyed the gardens area and lobby for some picture taking.
Thank you!

The food was fantastic, perfectly prepared. A request to modify the preparation of a vegetable was accommodated with ease. Both the waiter and sommelier were knowledgeable about their wines.

Had a great time celebrating my (chef) fiancé’s birthday at the Royce! Every year we choose a new steakhouse for his birthday and this spot did not disappoint! We had the wagyu, bone in rib eye and loaded baked potato and brussel sprouts! Everything was delicious and he had a wonderful birthday. He raved about the food and we had leftovers the next day. The ambiance was romantic and perfect for a date and quiet meal together. We will definitely be back when in the Pasadena area!

Located inside the Langham hotel, the only downside to this lovely steakhouse is that if you are not a guest, you need to valet and walk through the hotel - but other than that, the food is amazing, side portions are shareable (very shareable) and the seafood is amazing. They also accommodating people in the group who like to have their steak charred, some places have issues with that - but if you pay for it, you want it how you want it - they were very good about it. I love the cute little sofa seats and the server was very nice and fun. Wine by the glass selections were good too.

This was a fantastic dinner! Our night started off with a signature cocktail-The Restaurant’s version of spicy martini that had vodka, orange A shared plate of the house special-risotto with shaved truffles as well as grilled baby artichokes with garlic aioli was enjoyed by everyone at the table. For the main entree we enjoyed the house dinner special - a 6 oz rib eye cap served with artisan salt & crushed red and black peppercorns. No sauce needed here! All in all a memorable dinner with friends.Dessert was a brioche bread pudding to share.
Beautiful atmosphere, exceptional service and exceptional food. Thank you to the chef and staff 💕

The service was friendly and awesome. The staff checked in on us often and had genuine interest in our feedback on the food, on the dessert, on anything.

The food was great. I ordered the Australian Wagyu Rib Eye and my wife got the Prime Cut Bone-in Rib Eye. Both were awesome! We also got the Crab Cake and the Roasted Bone Marrow Gratinee. And for dessert, the Chocolate Bar, and a Beautiful Coffee...all were excellent!

We finished off with a walk to see the beautiful gardens on the grounds.

The Royce is my go to for fine dining within a few miles of home. The service is excellent, and the steaks wood-fired for a taste of the west. If you have guests or business to conduct, this is the place to meet.

The food and over all experience was outstanding and memorable. The restaurant has a very intimate and inviting vibe. i have a nut allergy and informed my server Charles and he was so attentive, helpful, and accommodating . We started with the crab cake and steak tartare both which were Ahhhhhmazing! Then we ordered the kale salad which was fresh and savory and the sword fish, ribeye and mushrooms. All the food was flavorful and our steak and fish were prepared moist and perfect temperatures. We were too full to order dessert but left full and happy. We will make sure to come back soon! Thank you so much for the wonderful dinner.

Only complaint is I wish there were 1/2 glasses of wine and that there was a buttery chardonnay under $20, even $19.

Incredibly expensive for a small piece of good steak and Salmon. All sides extra after paying $35 for an 8 oz steak and about the same for a nice piece of salmon. Two glasses of wine for $25/each, very small pour. $238.00 for an 8oz steak a piece of salmon, a side of asparagus and 2 small glasses of average Cab. Great snob appeal if that’s what your after. Compare at $120.00.

Given the expense of The Royce, I was very disappointed when my USDA prime ribeye steak was almost impossible to eat. It had lots of fat and grissels, and I complained to our waiter about it, who, to be fair to The Royce, offered to replace it with another selection. I declined his generous offer. Based on my experience, I would NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone and I will NOT be dining there anytime soon. The rest of the Langham hotel is quite beautiful, however.

The food was good overall, but The Royce lacked the elegance and "polished staff" one would expect in a supposedly upscale restaurant that charges such high prices. Double-sided paper menus that felt like a place mat; seriously? They boast a 3,000-bottle wine cellar, and also offer some selections by the glass ranging in price from $16 to $37, but our waiter didn't seem to know anything about them, offering a taste instead; all well and good, but maybe some education is in order, or send over the sommelier!
He brought our bill while we were still enjoying dessert, not in a leather folder, but on a silver tray with a pen; coffee shop service at it's best! Probably won't dine here again.

Good ambiance, decent service. Food did not meet our expectation.
Sword fish and John Dory - dry, no flavor, not enough sauce for John Dory. Hazel nut sauce was nothing extraordinary.
Greg Norman signature Australian wagyu Rib eye was cooked just right as requested. But lots of fat, tendon, ligament. Chew and spit experience.
Dirty martini was good.
Hand cut french fries were soggy.
bone marrow - not a lot of marrow there, but lots of panko crust on top. Panko kind of overpowers the taste of marrow. We had better ones.
Tomato Bisque was flavorless and quatity was pretty much 4 tablespoon.
Grilled oyster was okay.
Beignet - we had better ones too.
Coffee - I brew better coffee at home.
A little bit disappointed with the food for that evening.

Nestled in the Langham hotel is this unexpected treasure. This was my 10th time dining here over the last few years, the second time this year. The service is truly wonderful, as is the elegant ambiance. We have yet to have any items on the menu that were not delicious, but this time the standout was the Beignets on the dessert menu and the handcrafted cocktails. Worth the drive. Terrific for special occasions or a wonderful date.
