Great food and service. Bottomless mimosas along with live Sunday jazz music makes it a great experience.
The prime rib was way beyond marbled - several huge chunks of fat. Everything else was average. Service was good.
The best (birthday) breakfast ever! The staff was so attentive and nice and the food was wonderful! Will visit again soon!
Outstanding meal, great drinks, and stellar customer service. A truly memorable experience!
Amazing delicious meal. Everything was perfectly prepared and served. Highly recommended
There was almost no one in the restaurant, food with few options, and a very limited wine list!
The quality of the service has really gone downhill. Mediocre at best now. I had the $62 piece of prime rib. I pointed out it was missing its Grilled w/Onions & Worcestershire Glaze the server told me it melted into the meat. I’ve never seen onions and the flavor of Worcestershire sauce just melt away. I would have said something a second time, but he never came back to check on us again. I had to ask someone else for our check. Wasn’t even busy.
Had Sunday brunch a few days ago. Great food with great service at a great price. Highly recommend the restaurant for any occasion
We ordered the fish almandine and my dinner was not even cooked.
It had been a while and I will definitely go back in the near future
Christian superb server. Food of excellent quality and presentation
Was glad for a restaurant in the French Quarter to be open on a cold Monday evening - so many were not. Advertised as "dressy" - but in a coat and tie felt over dressed vs other patrons. Ordered prime rib medium rare - was not told they only had well done left until after it was served. Substitute Rib Eye cooked as requested.
Service a little slow - manager/hostess did keep checking. Nice house salad - mixed drinks OK - again a little slow.
Nothing great. Definitely would not go back. Steak was decent. Everything else was nothing to write home about.
Food was decent but the service was poor until the food came out. Then we got plenty of “are you done yet” questions. They didn’t look like they were prepared for brunch for the holiday.
We ordered eggs Benedict for breakfast. We were there an hour before they brought it out. It was cold and we sent it back and left. The table next to us sat down and ordered much later but got their food before us. Bad management. Not what you would expect from such an establishment. I won't be back. BTW been going to NO for appx 30 years so I know the good restaurants from the bad.
Extremely disappointing…We we’re seated 15’ late and then waited ONE HOUR AND FIFTEEN MINUTES for the first course on the pre-fixe. We got the second course and were told they ran out of the first course. The best option on the second course was also sold out. The desert was also sold out. The steak was mediocre and the sides were inedible—clearly pre-cooked a long time ago and reheated. They were actually cold. Never got the drinks we ordered. Nearly impossible to believe a celebratory expensive New Years meal in New Orleans can be so bad. We timed it so we’re seated at 9:30 and done by 11:30 to celebrate New Years. We couldn’t because we weren’t done with dinner until after midnight. $500 for a party of four totally wasted away. It really couldn’t be any worse.
We were seated an hour past our reservation time and only seated because we started to crowd the host stand. After being seated it took a long time to get drinks and begin the prefixe menu. The prefixe menu was published and forced upon us after committing to the reservation and too late to make a change. We noticed our service was about 20 mins behind the table next to us. The food when served was obviously sitting in holding before delivery. Only silver lining was sneaking on the roof of the hotel to watch NYE fireworks - highly recommend!
Nice New Years Eve dinner. Enjoyed the evening food was good
Very nice. Had planned for the Revillion menu, but that ended a couple days before. Good menu and wine selection. Wait staff friendly and helpful. Food great as always.
Food was delicious and the staff were friendly and attentive. I will return here
It was Christmas night! Only thing I did not like was they did not have wine I wanted.
Very good service, nice atmosphere, good prime rib
Everything was amazing from
the checkin of our vax card to the waitstaff. Food was delicious and for the price.
Christmas menu VERY limited as compared to other special occasions. Soups were excellent- thank goodness.
If you chose prime rib - your ONLY side was fried brussel sprouts. I realize you want to limit the menu during a holiday with limited staff — but how much effort does it take to bake a potato?? We asked - but we’re told NO substitutions on sides. Not very accommodating. So the meal was prime rib and French bread.
Enjoy the mimosas!! The food was really good
Food was great. Prime rib was great. Time in between soups and salads was like an hour which was way too long. Especially considering it wasn't busy.
No issues with the food, pretty tasty overall. Despite not being particularly busy, our server struggled to take our order, bring our food or refills. The manager actually brought out some of food and apologized for the wait.
I honestly can’t recommend this restaurant to my friends and I won’t be returning
Went for annual Christmas luncheon - fine dining. Booked at 1:30. Group was all there by 1:40. As we are just looking at menu, waitress says we have to hurry bc kitchen closed at 2:00.
Also, no champagne. None. At the Omni hotel/ RibRoom. At Christmas.
Couple day get away want a nice meal service was excellent and the food would go back
Efficient and friendly service...excellent food...first time at the Rib Room...will be back.
We have been eating there for many years this is the first time the prime rib was disappointing
Not the quality as before
Asparagus were tiny
Service was great
Our waitress, Cyn, was AWESOME and made our ongoing wedding celebration (we just got married 3 days earlier) a truly great experience! HIGHLY recommended…
The Rib Room is an average dining experience but is convenient if you are staying at the Omni Hotel. Our meal was fine and the service was good.
Great experience and service.
Would recommend and return.
Service and food were excellent.
Lovely Christmas decorating. Service was good food was good
Went for lunch but they only offered brunch. Wanted onion soup and the gladly accommodated us. It was excellent. The poached egg and crab cakes was delicious. Would have gotten 5 stars if lunch had been available.
Book this for our 25th anniversary, specifically noted on the reservation. Waiter did not even ask or acknowledged it. Prime rib was inconsistently cooked: juicy in the middle, salty on the sides. Poor value for the price. There are a lot of good restaurants in NOLA, do not waste your time and money here.
We were thinking there would be music and better food options like in the past for Christmas time. It was WAY too quiet. No fun Christmas activity going on. No fun drink specials like before. Really missed the Christmas cookie martini. This was our third year at the Rib Room and we were very disappointed. Had to go to a different restaurant just to have dessert.
