   The food was incredible. I got a filet that melted in your mouth. The service was impeccable. The vibe and ambiance was superb! The owner and chef Wade was so personable, passionate and down right caring for his locals and patrons in every aspect! I will recommend this place all the time!

   Best filet I’ve ever had in my life! Sides were very good and drinks were mostly prepared well. They accommodated my wife’s special dietary request without issue. Very good experience and will be back!

    Dawson was our waiter last night and he made the evening. Food was fantastic, but really appreciated what we learned about the restaurant and menu from Dawson. I’ve dined here twice and have had wonderful experiences both times. Highly recommend!

    Our first time. This is basically the best bar in town, but not a great steakhouse. We ordered HUGE and very expensive ribeyes and they were no where near as good as random choice grade from Texas Roadhouse, Kroger, HEB, you name it. Prepared very well though ; this is actually hard to do with a steak that has zero marbling. Shame on you Republic. We spent $250 for two $20 grocery store steaks from HEB. Wow. Casa do Brazil serves much better beef.

    A friend gave me a gift card for a night out for my birthday so my husband and I went out for his birthday. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. We will definitely be back!!

    Once again an amazing experience at The Republic! The steak was cooked perfectly and we had a lot of fun participating in the mash madness tasting. Our server was great and very friendly and knowledgeable.

    Ryan the bartender makes the best Old Fashioned! Our server Taylor was awesome as well. Very knowledgeable and attentive without being too “lingering “. Republic is the best steakhouse in Texas ( in my humble opinion).

    Ordered Texas Akaushi, the steak is perfect, except it is a little salty. Comparing to the price, the environment is a little noisy. Service is excellent.

    We were visiting our son and daughter in law and wanted to take them for a nice dinner. We were NOT disappointed with our choice. Delicious creative cocktails, excellent food, and our server, John was absolutely amazing and super knowledgeable. We had filets, rack of lamb, and the corn ravioli at our table. Everything was delicious. I ended the night with the apple dessert and I’m still thinking about it. Absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this steakhouse and look forward to returning!

    Everything was delicious. Service was very good. Complimentary valet parking was appreciated. It’s a pricey restaurant, but that’s expected and it was still a good value. Menu has lots of options, which is hard to come by with some higher end restaurants.

    We had a great experience on a Thursday night and were seated in one of the more formal, quiet areas away from the bar -a good choice if you don't want to raise your voice during dinner. Our waiter, John, was excellent and gave great recommendations on both food and drink. The drinks were quite excellent, make sure to order a "Smoking Jacket" for a fantastic whiskey infused with smoke. For the most part, the food was also quite good. Our steaks were cooked to perfection, and the sides were really good as well. My only knock was the Caesar salad was quite bland with very little dressing, opt for the Heirloom Tomato salad and you'll be amazed. Overall, it's a very nice restaurant; parking is a pain but worth it for the fantastic fare.
