My favorite place to dine when visiting Fairbanks.
I loved the charm and decor of the Pump House. The blueberry mule was delicious and my server Patrick was very knowledgeable and obviously loved his job.
Food and service was wonderful! We always enjoy our visit to the Pump house.
Everything was perfect! Great food and service. Steaks were perfectly cooked. Drinks were delish. Desserts were tasty. And the service was top notch.
Wonderful service and food. Can't wait to go back!
The food was delicious, the waitress was friendly, funny and went out of her way to make sure that we were satisfied with our meal. Good job!!
As usual, food & service was top notch. Melissa & I thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
Food and service were excellent. Waitress was fantastic
My only critic would be that my Alaska Grilled Halibut could have used more sauce.
Everything was great there. Just had a little issue with the waiting times. Other than that, I would definitely go back because everything was so delicious and the environment was awesome and chill.
The food was delicious and presented nicely on the plate. The lighting and atmosphere was very cozy. We had a great time.
This trip, the food was excellent, as usual, but the service was a bit sub par.
Staff friendly and prompt. Elk meatloaf, fish and chips, seafood pasta were all very good.
My husband had the rib eye that was cooked perfectly and was so moist it just melted in your mouth. I had the blackened halibut and it was fantastic and the side dish was amazing. It was my husband's birthday and we selected the chocolate cream cheese filled cake. The cake was dry but the ice cream was yummy and we did not get charged for that so it was fine. We each had a drink as well. I have not experienced that level of food eating out in a long time. We were visiting Fairbanks for the weekend and the next time we visit we will eat here again. Bravo to the chef!
Server was very pleasant
Food was not great.
Seafood chowder was excellent, scallop ere amazing however the remaining items on the plate were absolutely awful!.
Everything from the service to the food was excellent. Perfect atmosphere and all the safety precautions were handled with care. Loved our server and the food was incredible.
Everything was great from the service to the food. Especially the dessert ❤️🥰
Great service and great food, well worth a visit while in Fairbanks
We were here on our last night in alaska before we had to catch our flight back home and wanted to make it special. We made our reservations in advance and were seated at a table which was right next to an occupied table. In light of the covid situation we asked our hostess if we could move one table behind to maintain some distance. She told us it was not possible as it was reserved. For the entire 1.5 hrs we spent there, that table was vacant. Coming to the food, i ordered the seafood risotto. While it was good, i had a really bad stomach ache and had to rush to find a restroom enroute to the airport, resulting in us nearly missing our flight. Overall i did not enjoy my experience and will not be going back to this restaurant.
Love the atmosphere and love the professionalism of the server. She asked about my aew shirt and my brother-in-law’s sweater and had an awesome conversation!
The food was awesome! I had the seafood combination thats beer-battered and I loved the sauce and grilled seafood that was on it.
I also would like to say the chocolate mousse cake blew me away with its smoothness! In fact, i’ve never been to a restaurant that had a menu where it was not on paper, but shows you on the tray!
When I visit fairbanks again, i would love to stop by. This restaurant was worth having my after-birthday dinner at.
This restaurant was probably the only restaurant in Fairbanks that I can truly say had good food. I ordered the crab & shrimp rangoon which was really savory and delicious. The reindeer medallion was cooked to my liking, but I think they were a little heavy-handed with the marsala in the risotto.
I went a second time (I was in Fairbanks for 4 days) and ordered the grilled halibut, which I thoroughly enjoyed. If I go back to Fairbanks to escape the Arizona heat again, I will definitely be eating here.
As always very good. Excellent food and service, one of the best establishments in Alaska!
Overpriced for what was expected. Service was lacking, server was hard to track down. Food was ok but definitely overpriced. We had a similar meal a few days later somewhere else for $50 cheaper. One of our party members lost their hat and called to ask about it and staff was very unhelpful on the phone so we had to drive back to speak to the manager to find it.
I have eaten at the Pump House numerous times over the past 9 years and it has always been a go-to for my family. Unfortunately, the food has gone downhill so much that our last visit we decided it would be our last for a very long while. Hopefully, they get their act together.
A must when visiting Fairbanks; for service, ambience, food, and all things good in high quality dining experiences.
Great food! We sat on the deck and it was absolutely beautiful!
I can't remember our waiter's name, but he's very helpful and quick response when we asks questions. Overall, fanstastic
Great service. Food was good, great mix on the menu.
Although the service was super slow, we really enjoyed our food. Great crab cakes, great halibut dish and good size portions !
There was a long wait but good food and excellent service.
This is the second time we have been to the Pump House. I paid $30 for a seafood and Halibut dinner, and it was the smallest piece of Halibut that I have ever seen. My plate was loaded with french fries, 3 shrimp, 2 scallops and a sliver of Halibut. I was very disappointing! I was banking on having lefter over for the next day, cause usually their portions are very large.
Salmon salad was wonderful, but perhaps a little overpriced. 2 orders of Alaska Fish n Chips had large portions. The Asian cole slaw side wasn’t liked by either party, so the PH might want to reconsider this particular side. You can’t beat the ambiance anywhere else in Fairbanks. Our server was super professional. The desserts are pastry masterpieces.
We had a very enjoyable time! the servers and food were amazing we left very happy and full! everyone was following very good sanitation protocols and even when my steak was under they had no problem fixing it for me! Pump house for the win!
Our family loved dining at the Pump House. The food was excellent and so was the service!
Delicious Alaskan cuisine with excellent customer service. Great Alaskan ambience, too.
The environment was a fun and family friendly. We were on a bit of a time crunch when we went, and when it took a little while for them to serve us they were very apologetic and gave us dessert for free. Dining there was a very pleasant experience!
Wait staff were very friendly and waited on our table with enthusiasm. The food was excellent.
Our server was awesome and more than accommodating to help one in our group that s allergic to onions. He suggested something and she really liked it. Will definitely return again
