The food was delicious! The staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. Thank you!
We had dinner prior to the symphony. Our server was very attentive and efficient. The wine we requested was unavaile, so the manager upgraded it for the same price. Our meal was well prepared and delicious. Ambiance is lacking, but clean and comfortable. I would recommend a mote appropriate sound track for background music.

The Pubhouse used to be a hidden gem. My wife decided to go there for her birthday with our daughter and son in law. The gem is gone. We arrived and were not asked for the reservation name but were shown to a table by the bartender. The waitress greeted us, gave us menus but never offered us beverages. She took our orders which included salads, soups and main courses. The soups were warm, not hot. The salad was like a Costco salad, dumped on a plate with no care. Leaf stems were not cut and it was not tossed. The bruschetta was equal parts onions and tomatoes. Strangest one ever served. The fries were stuck together. The steaks were over cooked and then not hot. The kail was not stemmed. The waitress was just not trained. A nice person but not professional in any way. We will not be back but I will check tomorrow to see if management has changed. I will bet it has.
Overall poor experience. Zero atmosphere, bad food and worse service. Would not recommend under any circumstances.
It was enjoyable. You can go fancy or in jeans. There could be more food choices but we both found something.
The food and ambiance were excellent, and the facilities were clean and well-maintained. The front of the house, however, seemed very new (miscommunication/mistiming of dishes, cocktails made incorrectly, etc.) but eager to learn and to please (sending the bartender to our table to make sure they understood what we were expecting to receive). I will certainly be back, but I hope they've invested in some training for their waitstaff and bartender.
I wasn't impressed. My steak had no flavor...I had to ask for salt. The fingerling potatoes were hard/kinda chewy. Again no flavor. Calamari....NO. Dry rub chicken wings were ok. They didn't have the ingredients for the drink I ordered, so that was lame. Our waitress/server seemed to maybe have hearing issues so communication was a bit frustrating. Overall I was not impressed at all. I didn't even want to take my leftovers, but when you spend that much on a steak....my husband ate the leftovers not me. The best part of being there was my company, I was with my amazing husband.
Our food was mostly good. The scallops were cooked perfectly although I felt the price was too steep for only two actual scallops. Our friends ordered steaks and one was way over done and one was underdone. They chose not to request new steaks as the service was very slow. We have lived in Europe and are used to a slower service but this was exceedingly slow. The waitress was attentive and very nice. I’m fairly sure this was a kitchen issue. Would I go back? Doubtful. The bad equally weighed with the good which kind of makes it a wash.
We came here for mom's birthday. The fish and chips were a little under cooked, but everything else was delicious. We shared several appetizers: blue corn calamari, tenderloin tips, (unflavored) chicken wings, and humus & bread; it was all very good. For main courses we ordered the rib eye, seafood risotto, lamb shank, hamburger, and chicken; this was all very good too. Good selection of beers on tap, although ran out of the moscato for the bday lady which was a little disappointing.
Would definitely come here again.
Great food, good service, great atmosphere
We started coming to this little gem when Daniel was the chef. The outstanding food brought us back again and again. We returned after a long absence and thought to give the new chef a try. The lamb Shank was the best I had ever eaten, though the King Salmon my wife had was disappointing. We went back for Lamb Shank, and decided we were done with the Inlet Tower Pub. The lamb was dry and tough and at 30 bucks per plate, it felt like a hard lesson learned in terms of where not to go. The appetizer was good, as was the dessert, and the service simply outstanding. It is a quiet place (which we love) but the entree's are inconsistent and mostly poor. Too bad, as it was once our favorite local restaurant.
We both had seafood risotto as our main dishes and enjoyed it very much. The dessert was good, too, but its portion was too generous.
Is out of the way as far as crowds. The food good. Didn't need to make reservations because no one was there. Not sure if word of mouth has gotten around of this place. Try it out.
The staff and the service was top of the line.

Wonderful meal with excellent service. So nice to go out for dinner and not have to yell to be heard. Nice quiet atmosphere with smooth background music. Highly recommend, can’t believe it took me do long to discover this jewel.
The filet and the burgers were great. The flavor was very pleasing and the service was good as well.
Pretty good. Some of the meals are a little small for the price. But the food quality is there.
Had a Xmas get together for 12 of us. They went out of their way to cater to us. Excellent service and very friendly help.
Best-kept secret in downtown Anchorage. Really good food. Husband had duck pot pie in a wonderful puff pastry and I had meatloaf over mashed cauliflower. Both were delicious. I had an iced raspberry green tea and it was lovely. We've been here several times and happy each time. Portion sizes are not huge, but we liked that. Only improvement to suggest is new booth seating for the semi-booth tables. Booths are too low for the tables and one was torn. Servers always seem warm and friendly.
The Pubhouse is in our neighborhood. We especially enjoy coming in for drinks and small plates. On this visit we received the customary warm welcome and close attention that is part of Pubhouse ambience. Our meals were properly paced, with courses arriving promptly but with no sense of rush. The generous portions of our entree choices did remind us why we so often opt for small plates. We loved our food, but there really was almost too much to fully enjoy. We will surely return to the Pubhouse, and stick with the smaller plates as long as that menu is available.
Calamari fabulous. All other choices were fine but nothing extraordinary. Serving Staff Great. Party of 4 and we all had different main courses. Out of one of the chocolate desserts. We ordered the cheese cake but it was below par.
Wonderful service and excellent food..a surprise for a hotel restaurant. Would go back again.
Convienent location. Great parking available. Food was salty & took a long time. Otherwise, very enjoyable.
The waiter was very upfront with hat he thought was god versus great. The restaurant manager stopped by and was truly interested in our experience. This restaurant has come a long and keeps getting better.
Very nice atmosphere. Our server, Samantha was outstanding. Most importantly, the food was delicious. We started with the Hummus Appetizer and the Salmon Spread; both were very good. I had the duck pot pie, which was surprisingly delicate as well as hearty. Overall, a very lovely dinner in a quiet and inviting atmosphere.
Overall very good food and service. Baguette with hummus and roasted garlic is great. Crab legs were done perfectly. My only complaint would be the 20% automatic gratuity for a party of 5. The service was good, but not 20% and 5 isn't that large a group. Not a big deal as I would have done 18% but I would avoid in the future of dining with more than 4 people.
My friend and I tried their tasty wings, delicious calamari and few other apps . The service was great and I was amazed by the 20 beers on tap, most of the beers are local! Will be back soon.
Extremely slow service, super salty food, high prices...I would not return. Not sure why it's called the Pubhouse, it doesn't have a casual pub feel at all.
Came in for their "Appy" hour and both appetizers were delicious. Really nice selection of local beers, attentive and friendly staff. 👍🏻
Rude bartender.. Food was horrible refused and returned.. Manager was a sweetheart but should have given us some type of compensation for the terrible service

This is the third time we came here for dinner. Valentine's Day was great. Easter was fair. This time I had a Ribeye steak and it was not so great. It was overcooked and tough. The server did not ask if the food was cooked properly so there was no opportunity to rectify it. I don't know if we will come a fourth time because it has gotten worse, not better, as time goes on.
Our first visit the food was amazing! This visit we couldn't get through it which was really disappointing. The risotto was bland and overlooked, the lamb shank was good but the veggies under it were dry and old tasting. We really like the oysters and garlic bread plate.
First time at the Pubhouse, and I was eagerly anticipating a great meal when I took the family for a Mother's day dinner. Nice setting, and the service was great. Appetizers were very good - bruschetta and an order of salmon artichoke spinach dip. The dip was served with about 20 small slices of bread. There was a generous portion of dip, so we went through the bread and asked for a little more. We were brought about 8 more slices and told it would be $4. The price didn't bother me so much as the fact that we were being charged more for a simple request - you would think with the overall cost of dinner a few slices of bread would be gratis, but apparently not. On to the entree- we ordered the special (halibut cheeks) and were disappointed. The description looked good - halibut with rice, spinach, artichoke, and cherry tomato. Unfortunately the halibut was a little over cooked, and the dish was mushy and bland. Definitely not worth the money. Our party also had Alaskan cod (fish and chips), as well as salmon chowder that were both good. Unfortunately, the larger entrees (halibut cheeks as well as a baked chicken dish) were underwhelming. I would probably return for a beer and bar food, but don't anticipate trying major entrees there in the future.
Menu selection great, the dishes we ordered were very good although the rockfish seemed more like an appetizer, wine list OK, food came slowly, service was uneven.
This was our second visit and we did not realize there would be only a buffet for Mother's Day. We will come again when they have a regular menu but never again for a buffet. The Eggs Benedict were cold as well as some of the other items. Eggs should be cooked to order, not allowed to sit on a buffet. The price was very high and we were seated in a corner that included a screaming child and parents who ignored the screaming. Not my favorite way to spend Mother's Day.
My wife and I made reservations for the Easter Brunch on 16 April at 1:30 PM. From beginning to end our dining experience was amazing and perfect. The buffet was the best we have ever experienced at any restaurant in Anchorage to include the Hotel Captain Cook. Service was impeccable with experienced staff catering to our every need without delay. We will definitely be regular diners at the Pub House in our future. Thank You to the staff for a perfect meal and dining experience!
Quite disappointed. I've eaten here before and it was more value/price appropriate. Easter Sunday brunch was very mediocre or less.
Wonderful food; cant wait to go back and try something else off the menu.
