The food was outstanding as always. The service was impeccable . Have been going for years and have never had a complaint. We’re looking forward to going back soon!
Valentine’s Day dinner
Outstanding meal. The strip steak was tender, flavorful, and delicious with a crisp outside. The artichoke hearts were surprisingly good, even wonderful. The dark chocolate ice cream was a dream. Service was impeccable. Last but not least, Jeff Wilson on the piano provided a perfect musical complement to the meal. The Prime Rib is in a class by itself, and we had a terrific time.
this is a wonderful place to take your loved one the atmosphere was great staff wonderful this was me and my wife's second time going there and we love it👍👍👍👍👍
The Prime Rib is not just for beef although their prime rib is outstanding! Seafood and lamb are likewise great choices. This restaurant is just simply one of if not the finest restaurant in the region.
Food was phenomenal. Worst service I've ever experienced at this restaurant but got much better once meal was served Almost 2 hours later. Good thing I enjoyed the company . Obviously waiter more attentive around tip time. Took 45 minutes just to be handed the menu. Nevertheless, the food is best bar none in town and I can't wait to return!!
Great everything! I’ve never known anyone who said they had anything less than a great meal at the Prime Rib!
Our “go to” place for special occasions
Great service and atmosphere. Wonderful food! Our meals were perfect! So nice to have a wait staff that truly is there to serve and enjoys their profession! Makes such a huge difference to the dining experience
I don’t eat beef often, but when I do, I want the best. Prime Rib is it! Top notch food, gracious setting, friendly service. I’ll be back, even though it will only be twice a year.
Could not award 5 Stars because Prime Rib knew we had a show to catch when the reservation was made, and they nicely acknowledged that fact when we were seated. Then it all fell apart as we waited and waited for a steak and a salad. Well longer than any reasonable person would expect.
The anxiousness of waiting so long and being late for our show detracted from our enjoyment of the meal. To their credit the staff apologized and tried to make amends in a courteous manner. We would return and hopefully our experience will be perfect next time
Old school ambience and service. Good and drink superb
Always consistently good experience
I have been to The Prime Rib several times and have always enjoyed my experience. Shared many memories there with family and friends. Overall everything was excellent! My only disappointment was our table seating. I had requested a nice table for two as it was my husband's birthday and we were recently married a month ago. When we arrived they sat us at a combo table where we were nearly sitting next to another couple. I did not say anything as I did not want to make things awkward since the other couple was directly in hearing distance.
We have been many times to the Prime Rib, but on this occasion, it was not up to its usual excellence. Maybe it was the weather (snow storm), but we felt incredibly rushed and the food was not as it usually is. We told the women when she called to confirm that it was a birthday, but there was no acknowledgment. The sundae for dessert was nothing special. Well go back but the need to be consistent.
Met an old friend for dinner and appreciated the ability to hold a conversation and linger over coffee. They do steak well but everything is expensive and if you're looking for cutting edge dining, keep looking. If you want to recapture the true "dining" experience of white tablecloth, respectful yet warm service, high end atmosphere with solid food, this is your place. It's a dying breed so enjoy it while you can.
Great as always.
Nice traditional steak house. Good place for a special occasion.
The food here may be a little old-fashioned (like the decor, but we love it!), but everything is is excellent. We had the Oysters Rockefeller and Escargot to start, Lobster Bisque and Roasted Tomato soups, 3 different salads, one full cut Prime Rib and one signature cut, Prime Rib Steak and the chopped steak (world's best burger), plus various sides. My only (minor) complaint was the wine recommendation, I asked for a full-bodied red and received the Grgich Hills Cab - very smooth but way too mild in the flavor department. Would not recommend that wine, especially for $120 a bottle. Everything else was great! This is my husband's favorite restaurant, so we always come here for his birthday, and it never disappoints.
A friend and I took another friend out to celebrate her 90th birthday. The Prime Rib is the kind of place to take someone to mark a special occasion. The food is consistently delicious and the service impeccable. Prices are steep but I always leave with enough for another meal so that is a bonus!
It is always a wonderful time when we eat at the Prime Rib. We celebrated my birthday there - the best service and always delicious food. Great place!
Excellent service, excellent food - all around great night! Our server, Bob, was top notch!
Always superb in every way
Great food and service
I was told they were apart of restaurant week but once we arrived, I was told they weren’t. That was a huge issue for me. The waiter was nice and helpful but I don’t let to be lied to.
Our server Chris was amazing and we loved his accent!! Spectacular job, the place was beautiful, the food was great and oh that's starter Crabcake was beyond amazing!! Thank you guys for a wonderful evening with my fiance.
The meal was delicious, as usual at the Prime Rib, although the prime rib itself was quite fatty. It surprised me and am hoping that's not a new, unwelcome aspect of this restaurant during Restaurant Week of Baltimore.
The prime rib is always a amazing place to eat. I never have single complaint
Saved a trip to the Prime Rib until the last night of restaurant week. As usual, it was a great experience. The food was wonderful however our service was a little on the slow side. Not at all expected. They were extremely busy so we took the extra time to relax and enjoy.
The food, service, and value are unmatched. Always superb!
Everything is always well prepared. Wait staff is lovely. Live Piano! Food is delicious. What more can you ask for?
Always a special evening at the Prime Rib. It is absolutely the BEST restaurant in the Baltimore area. The staff, the food and the atmosphere is perfect. My wife and I get there a few times a year and begin to look forward to our next visit as we drive home. First class in every way!
I have been to the Prime Rib many times and have always had outstanding service. Not this time. We were just being seated when the waiter wanted to take our drink order. When we did order our dinner, the salad arrived very quickly. Within minutes. We were barely finished our salads when our main course arrived. There were four of us in our party. I finished eating first. While the other three people in our party were still eating, my plate was removed from table. When the rest of our party finished eating and as their plates were being removed from the table the deserts were served. While we were eating our deserts, the check was placed on the table. We were rushed through the entire evening. A one hour dinner is not what I expected at the Prime Rib.
Great food and Great Service, although the seating floor could be a bit less congested with less tables ..we could hear everyone's conversations and I'm certain they could hear ours. Perhaps because of Restaurant Week there were so many people dining out on a Saturday evening. But yes I recommend this place wholeheartedly.
Filet mignon overcooked and tough for everyone at our table. Service was excellent
The service was excellent and the food was delicious!
Another delicious prime rib dinner with tomato soup and the best creme brûlée! Great restaurant week value! But we like it for all special occasions.
Dining at The Prime Rib is always a pleasure, no more so than during Baltimore Restaurant Week. The supremely professional staff makes dining here a delight.
4 of us had a most enjoyable evening
This was our second evening at The Prime Rib during Baltimore restaurant week. This time we got the Caesar salad and tomato bisque for appetizers and the creme brulee and chocolate pie for dessert. We kept the petite filet mignon and the crab imperial. You just can't improve on perfection. All were delicious! Our server, Edward, was excellent. He and the waiters made every effort to see to it that our needs were taken care of in a timely, friendly, and respectful manner. Thank you Prime Rib, Edward, and wait staff for two bodacious 3-course meals in a very upscale enjoyable setting this restaurant week! You really helped take the doldrums out of a cold January 2019.
Perfectly cooked filet mignon, delicious sides and perfect wine pairing.
