Classic, classy, delicious - always!
Great food, and service!
We had an early reservation and we were sat immediately. Greeted promptly by our server John. Courses were spaced but timely. Food was delicious and perfectly cooked. Valet wait was less than 2 min. Would definitely recommend.
Service was very slow for Restaurant week and I didn’t want to make a scene
Superb as always! Please keep this historic monument alive! Thanks a million! ☃️😍🎶
As always, The Prime Rib provided excellent food & service. Even the valets were exceptionally kind & attentive to the needs of the elderly. One member of our group prefers her steak well done while the remaining three of us enjoy it medium rare to rare. Because it was restaurant week, every table was filled. Despite this, our waiter didn't rush us to finish. I was surprised that he served dessert before we asked for coffee. I am used to the wait staff asking if coffee is desired before serving dessert.
It's restaurant week in Baltimore and The Prime Rib is celebrating! We got the house salad and tomato soup, filet mignon, and key lime pie and chocolate cake. We also got the crab lumps on top of the entry. The whole meal - down to the bread and butter - was fabulous. Parking was very convenient and complementary. We will be back this weekend.
The food was tasty, but very basic. I ordered the House Salad- not much flavor from the dressing. The filet mignon was cooked just as I asked and very tasty. The mashed potatoes and creamed spinach lacked seasoning. I ordered a pomegranate margarita- very good, no complaints. The complimentary bread tasted very good and freshly baked. Lastly, the creme brûlée was not too sweet, very creamy, and tasty. The service was okay- nothing that stood out or above and beyond. I even overheard the table beside us talking to the manager about the waiter’s subpar service- I could agree. Overall, a decent date night at a Baltimore staple and nice to participate in Restaurant Week.
The very best of everything!.. All the food was very good as well as the hospitality!..
I have been going here for over 40 years and they never disappoint. Restaurant week is a great time to enjoy a meal.
Wonderful atmosphere with exceptional food. It is a must try for Baltimore, recommend going during restaurant week for a great deal.
Excellent time. Enjoyed a great meal with very good friends.
Restaurant week is such a bargain. All of the ambiance, service and food at an affordable price. This will always be my “go to” special occasion restaurant. The whole experience is worth every penny and it’s actually reasonably priced when you compare to other premium steakhouses. The swanky atmosphere makes for a perfect dinner. Can’t wait to go back. Ps. The Manhattans were outstanding!
The food, service, and atmosphere is incomparable. No establishment can touch the Prime Rib!
Visited this restaurant during Baltimore Restaurant Week. The menu had excellent selections and the price was exceptional. The service was great. The food was superb. My only complaint was the spacing in the dining room. The table were placed very close together. My head was bumped twice by a waiter. Otherwise, no complaints.
My date and I had a wonderful experience!
Fantastic service, wonderful atmosphere, and amazing food. Overall awesome experience and definitely worth going to.
We have been coming here for years and have always had a good experience. Great food and service.
Fabulous as always !
We love the Prime Rib! Bobby, our waiter was exceptional! Brad, the maitre d, is also wonderful!
I’ve been coming to this location for 38 years this evening I had a family of six with me three of us were very much not happy with our steaks however we did not send them back also three others had a tremendous amount of shells in the crab cocktail the service was OK everything else was great just a really bad experience when you spend $800 on dinner plus the tip you really expect much better
First class all the way. Didn't matter that it was restaurant week. They were right on in all aspcts.
the food is exceptional, but what is outstanding is the service personnel. They are A+
One our favorite place to eat!!!
I enjoyed the meal very much. I was a little bit discomfited by the amount of "traffic" that breezed by me constantly. Still, I would recommend The Prime Rib to all.
Everything was good
Great environment, impeccable service. The food was absolutely delicious and the music trio was fantastic!
Dining at The Prime Rib is always special but we were even more thrilled this time when we asked in advance to sit by the piano and it worked out. It felt like we had a private concert. If there is a better place for prime rib, we have not found it. Also, don't miss the oysters, they are gigantic and amazing!
Nathan was great and very relaxing not rushed !
Excellent service! Waiter was great!
Marvelous experience at Prime Rib. Tim our waiter was attentive, professional and on point from beginning to the end. Crab cakes and lobster bisque are wonderful. Piano musicians were wonderful and bathroom facililities are clean. No complaints and valet parking is available, which saves time when looking for parking. Always a Wonderful experience at Prime Rib.
Our anual family Christmas Dinner celebration. As always, a wonderful time by all. Great food & great service.
Always the best food and service is outstanding. A bit expensive and loud. Free valet parking.
Baltimore‘s great steakhouse has never been better. We went on Christmas Eve expecting a fairly quiet evening but the place was buzzing. The bar was humming too. The live music further enhanced the mood.
The drinks were ample and the entrées delicious as always. We topped it off with one of their signature desserts — the chocolate fudge sundae. A perfect end to a perfect evening.
If you want a place to go for a special dinner look no further. And don’t forget the Greenberg potato skins!
This was our Christmas Eve dinner and as usual it was excellent. The restaurant was decked out in holiday finery and the three piece combo played the perfect yuletide tunes. Our meals were perfect from the cocktail to the lobster bisque to the signature cut and Greenberg's potato skins. Pecan pie a la mode and coffee finished the meal. Sorry for it to be over although there was enough rib and skins taken away for another meal.
We’ve been coming to The Prime Rib in Baltimore for 30 plus years and have never left disappointed.
Nathan was beyond wonderful on Christmas Eve. The food was as top-notch as always. My son and I always order the lamb and it’s the best. We appreciate the more traditional accompaniments of mint jelly and mango chutney. My daughter’s boyfriend is a vegetarian and enjoyed his food as well.
Always a fabulous experience.
The perfect Christmas Eve venue for dinner. Service is excellent and the food was wonderful. Somehow it is cozy, intimate, and elegant all at the same time. Music was terrific.
Great as usual, and the Prime Rib is now a Christmas Eve Tradition in our Family.
I was a little perturbed that when I pulled up to Valet, there were police running towards the restaurant entrance from down the street--I guess this is the norm for downtown Baltimore??? Jack Young better get the State to help with the crime.
