Took our daughter and son-in-law for dinner to celebrate daughter’s birthday. Several of us were looking forward to your wonderful crab dishes especially your crab Imperial. when we arrive at our table we learned that the restaurant was serving none of the crab dishes on the menu quite disappointing. The of three of us were not crazy about the meal we had to order because it was the second choice but my husband loved his prime rib
Terrible experience. The place is stuffy. Then we were told the “award winning crabcakes” that are advertised online are not available. The server smiled about it like it was a joke. Very rude people and just not a place I would ever return to or recommend
Wonderful relaxing dinner with my husband. We celebrated our 32nd anniversary and had a wonderful time. Food and wine were excellent.waiter was also very good!
This is one of my favorite restaurants anywhere. The food is always fabulous the service is excellent it's one of the few beef places where you can safely order seafood and the sea food is excellent. The ambience is wonderful. This is an elegant restaurant.I absolutely love it
it is always a pleasure to dine at the Prime Rib. From the Maitre'd, to the waiter to the chef to the valet parking person, these folks are experienced and execute their jobs perfectly. They make the dining experience memorable and well worth the money. i't is always an outstanding experience to eat at the Prime Rib Baltimore.
Wonderful as it was over 8 years ago when we were there last...just lovely ! Oysters and martinis, followed by salads and prime rib. We split the deliciously huge baked potato and creamed spinach. For dessert, a lovely piece of complimentary chocolate decadence and also had the exquisite key lime pie with coffee. Couldn't have been more perfect except we had "Mr. Bob" as our waiter who was just outstanding....
Great service and food. ALWAYS a wonderful place to dine and relax!!
Always wonderful. Never fails to send diners home with a warm, wonderful feeling. I love this restaurant!!
A longtime favorite, the Prime Rib is class all the way -- from the ambiance, to the service, to the food, to the drinks, to the wine list. You can't find a better martini or steak or, or, their signature, Prime Rib, anywhere else in the city. The shrimp in our appetizer were enormous and the oysters Rockefeller plump-- both well worth the price tag. Expensive to be sure but well worth it for the experience. If you want to take a date, a friend, a spouse somewhere memorable and special, the Prime Rib is second to none.
I received a $40 gift certificate for my birthday, so we decided to treat ourselves. A friend of mine who is notoriously picky (and a pescatarian, for that matter) raves about the place, and she was right! We were treated extremely well, and the food was excellent.
Best restaurant in Baltimore
Love,love,love... This place... Father's day was my 1st time there.. And it was amazing... My two kids went with us.. 8&6.. And they made them chicken tenders..they weren't even on the menu... How awesome is that.. Omg and the steak... Perfect just how I ask.. And I got the cheapest steak...lol... Every one was so nice.. I love it...
Great food and great service. A little loud
The Prime Rib continues to set the bar in Baltimore. Many, like The Sagamore Pendry, aspire - but simply do not meet this level.
The Prime Rib is a family favorite among all three generations. This time the occasion was double anniversaries. Without exception, everyone loved their meal (halibut, crab imperial, filet mignon and soft shell crabs). Don't leave without trying dessert!
A wonderful evening. Delicious prime rib, superb wine served professionally and with personal care. So lovely.
Great food, excellent service, romantic ambience, attractive decor, convenient location.
Awesome everything! Will definitely go back again!
Good experience, returning diner. Atmosphere is excellent, food and service is good. Highly recommend one try this restaurant.
The Prime Rib is one of the great steak houses in America. First class service fro professional staff. Top quality meat and seafood, excellent wine list. It doesn't get any better than this.
As always, The Prime Rib gets everything right. The food is consistently delicious. Our waiter, Nathan, was attentive without being overbearing. The pianist, Jeff, is a delight to watch as well as to hear. And the sumptuous decor provides a feast for the eyes. What more could you ask for?
We didn’t enjoy much about Prime Rib. The salads had funky blends and greens not so green We heard a lot about this place but frankly Ruth’s Chris is a much better option. The cocktails were ok and waiter never asked if wanted another. He also left our menus on one of the extra chairs but then couldn’t deny that he was very nice.
Their signature Prime Rib was EVERY bit as advertised. Truly a first rate experience.
Dessert treat was delicious
As always, The Prime Rib didn't disappoint. Even with all the other wannabe steak houses in town, nothing can come close to The Prime Rib for food, service and ambience!
The food and service was amazing. I wish I could remember our servers name. They made my husbands memorable. Thank you
Was at the Prime Rib last night to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The entire experience was excellent. It was our first time at Baltimore’s location in 5 years. It is always unique and quaint. The food we ate, the crab cake, salad, sea bass and for me the signature prime rib was delicious as ever. Our waiter, Travis was very attentive and humorous and a complete joy. The restaurant did a great job of remembering my wife’s birthday which believe it or not can make or break the whole experience (they had me nervous for a second when another person was nonchalantly collecting our plates and giving us the dessert menu). All in all an excellent 5 star experience at a 5 star restaurant.
A lovely meal in a lovely space. Reminiscent of a 1920's speakeasy with gorgeous art deco details and excellent service
Visited the Prime Rib to celebrate our anniversary. We arrived at 6 PM and the waiters all greeted us and stood when we entered. Really nice. The service throughout the evening was very good; attentive, but not overly so. The food was just superb! We started with Oysters Rockefeller and on the half shell. Excellent. That was followed by Prime Rib and the special that evening Filet Mignon Oscar. Each were perfectly prepared and delicious. The restaurant began to fill up after an hour of so and the noise level increased. No bad, but compared to the quiet earlier, it was noticeable. The Prime Rib is a great way to celebrate a special occasion. The only downside is the price. The Prime Rib is an expensive restaurant. Without drinks or deserts you should plan for about $100 per person.
Old world charm, service and food. Just great all around. Ranks up there with Sparks and other fine steakhouses. Bob, our server was old school all the way. It was just a pleasure to be cared for by him.
Top shelf high class old world steakhouse. Fine dining in a traditional style of excellent service and attention to detail. The steak and seafood are always prepared impeccably. Love the Bernaise here. Very much a big step up from the chain Mortons and Ruth Chris establishments. I typically take high end clients to this Baltimore landmark. It never disappoints.
Perfect! Our Server was Bradley and he was excellent. Keep up the good work and food!
Fantastic as always! Best oysters in the city!
BOY WHAT A DISAPOINTMENT!
Great martinis! Amazing blue point oysters that may have been the best I have had The food was good. Steaks cooked exactly as specified.
So what was wrong?
The service was mediocre. I wish I could remember our server’s name. He mostly ignored us during the meal. We tried to ask him for bread like we saw other servers bring to tables to no avail.
We waited an inordinate time for our entrees which when they did finally come we’re great.
Despite adoringly catering to a party of 8 at an adjacent table he refused to make eye contact with us.
WE HAD TO FLAG HIM DOWN for dessert and coffee. And after a long wait when we thought that he had to see we were finished ultimately for the check as well!
We have had good meals here in the past with other wait staff.
Our waiter was no novice. He should have been more attentive. At this price point and when you are trying to give the image of fine dining his behavior was inexcusable!
Was he trying to ingratiate himself to the table of 8 in hopes of a big tip. ( It is shame as we are notoriously big tippers having all work as wait staff ourselves.
Will I return yes. But IF I GET THAT WAITER I WILL ASK FOR ANOTHER SERVER!!
As usual the food was outstanding. Best crab imperial in town. Went for anniversary dinner and were not disapointed. Drinks, service, food, all were very good.
Very enjoyable. Great service and atmosphere
Sitting next to a loud group of 3 men. Didn’t think about it being graduation season so a lot of large noisy parties. This is one of my favorite places to go usually. I will skip the $18 shrimp cocktail appetizer next time- no flavor at all.
The Prime Rib is still the best steakhouse in Maryland. Our server Bobby was excellent. I had the Double Pork Chop which was prepared exactly to my liking.
We made reservations for dinner with some friends after Preakness. We ended up 30 min late for the reservation because we were unable to get an uber amidst the madness that ensues post races at Pimlico. We called the restaurant and were assured they would hold our table for us, which they did. The food, the service, the ambiance, all impeccable. I wish we had more of an appetite as the portions were quite generous and we ended up only eating about half of our meal. Will definitely go back if we return to Baltimore (or any of their other locations).
