Really great place, food is excellent, staff really welcoming. Great place for a family lunch, we had 3 generations of family and we all had a great time.

Amazing find, independently run with a quality team who do everything to ensure your well looked after. First time visitors and will be back for another visit soon. Sunday Roast was divine and its nicked the top spot on my list and I've had some gorgeous roasts up and down the country. Very well deserved.

The food was excellent but the service was surprisingly slow. Our waitress was extremely nice and kept apologising for the delay. We got our drinks much later, when we almost finished our main meal, we had to remind the waiters several times about our drinks. The desserts also took very long to arrive, despite ordering only 3(party of 8).

The food was amazing!! We visited Sunday for Father's day so expected it to be busy. We followed the guidance on the website which advised to park on the Green Man Carpark. This car park is only available to use for a max of 2hrs which luckily we made the decision to park else where as we were in the resturants for 3 and half hours. We were told there was a 30min wait for food which we were already prepared for being fathers day. However the wait was almost 50min. The childrens menu offered pizza however they do not serve pizza on Sundays. Whilst waiting for food we were not asked if we wanted any more drinks whilst we waited.. on several occasions I had to ask different members of staff for drinks orders. The food finally came and was well worth the wait, it was 5 star food. However once we had finished eating we had to wait almost 30min for the table to be cleared. I also had to ask for a desert menu as no one came back over to ask if we wanted more drinks or desert etc.. Was a lovely place and like I said the food was great, however very poor service especially when waiting with 2 children and a toddler.

Despite kitchen issues the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Food was great and environment relaxing.

Great neighbourhood independent bar/ eaterie. Great food and atmosphere, very attentive service. The Ceasar salads is to die for!

Excellent experience every time. Service is on point, food is incredible and when visiting from london the price is pretty good. Id say best roast ive had from a pub/restaurant. Will be back :)
