   Once we ordered our food we had to wait about 40 minutes. Then the size of the burger was disappointing , very small.

   Table app not great prefer waiting service, wafer thin beef (shrinkflation) but increased Sunday dinner prices, veg & potatoes fresh and plentiful - poor cocktails (inconsistent) ! 😢

   A superb Mother’s Day meal with a great atmosphere. The Roast dinner was excellent both quality and quantity. Service was also excellent considering how busy it was, a credit to all staff.

    Food was excellent and staff were friendly. The venue itself was also very welcoming. Unfortunately, the desert we ordered didn't come. After waiting 40 minutes, we left. Like I said though, the food we did eat was very tasty!

    Great atmosphere as always and the our waiter was excellent. The food was disappointing on this occasion. The roast beef and vegetables were lukewarm. One of our party had to send back the rice from his meal as it was dry. He was given a complimentary starter but his replacement meal took a long time (we had almost finished our mains). We weren’t charged for his main course. Although the staff were as welcoming and efficient as we have come to expect from the Plough, it seemed the kitchen were struggling to cope with the number of Mothers’ Day diners.

    Pizza was good. Hot pot was terrible. Potatoes tasted stale and like they had been reheated after sitting for days. Service was excellent. It was very loud, but it could have just been because it was a Saturday evening.

    Waiter got our order wrong 3 soup come with no butters and the one main come out with the starter Hot drinks was wrong out of 5 drinks only 3 come out with 2 missing biscuits We ask twice for it to be sorted no one come back to us with biscuits or missing drinks The tv was on so loud that we was shouting at the end We gave up at the end and went some where else for our mains

    I have been coming to The Plough for several decades and it has gone through many transitions.The latest may be a step too far.Gone are card menus that we love to choose from and debate what to eat,all part of the enjoyment of eating out..Now it’s a digital one screen menu to pick from, like ordering a takeaway so it all has to be tapped in.Gone was the bustling vibe and interaction with staff,you even have to pay by card on screen,time consuming when bill has to be split with friends.No one even acknowledged us when we left. The food as always was much enjoyed and very fresh but won’t be going back too soon.

    The iPad ordering doesn’t work we kept having to ask for cutlery etc as there were few staff our food was cold by the time we got to it.

    Have a new system to order food from a console on the table, and to pay for it at the console. Impersonal and unpleasant. Spoilt an otherwise lovely evening.

    Yummy food always I didn’t realise it was 241 on burgers - my friend didn’t want one so I bought one home which they were really kind to let me do. Such great value for money. Never have a bad meal here.

    I’ve eaten here before and it was great, the food is still very enjoyable but found staff sulky and quiet, very unfriendly. Made me feel uncomfortable particularly when we had an issue, wrong food. It was resolved quickly but without apology or explanation.

    Chose to eat here as there were plenty of gluten free options. Sadly we were told that they were all prepared/cooked alongside gluten items which, as any coeliac knows, is not good! Sadly my daughter is still in bed this evening 😪

    My partner and son share birthdays on consecutive days, I booked this restaurant as it’s a family favourite and was not disappointed. The venue was outstanding yet again food was amazing as always and the addition of the Sunday night pub quiz went down a treat

    Another lovely visit to the Plough, excellent food, service and atmosphere. If I had make one observation it would to ask Adam to put Cubanos back onto the menu, they are delicious and missed. All food is outstanding. Enjoy.

    Gorgeous food, really helpful and friendly service. Dogs welcome in the lovely covered and heated outdoor space. We’re not vegetarians but chose the vegan burger option for the flavours…really tasty! Would definitely recommend.
