   An excellent family lunch today to celebrate an engagement , Lizzie who served us was brilliant and so efficient, nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious and a lovely atmosphere.

   Lovely friendly atmosphere. Good choice of lovely food - but not too much choice. Very good veggie options. We ate in but outside looked very appealing, and lots of covered areas outside for the best of both worlds. Nice vibe but not too noisy. Will definitely go again.

   It's hands down the best Sunday dinner in the UK, believe me we have tried so many. Having to travel with my job means we get to eat out a lot. The beef Sunday dinner at the plough has become our favourite. Along with the ambience and the service this place is in a league of its own. The fact they allow dogs in the garden is a bonus, where if you get a booth type seat you get an electric heater.

   Service was good. Bread was only average, with no butter. We had one Cuban toastie with beef and one with pork - but the meat was identical and was not very appetising.

   My friend and I had breakfast here to celebrate my birthday. Having booked, we were offered a choice of table - reservation made for 10.30 so still fairly quiet. A bottle of water was immediately placed on ourctable abd I was offered a glass of Prosecco on the house which was a lovely gesture. I declined as it was still early but my pot of tea was taken off the bill which probably ages me!! I ordered the granola served with yoghurt and fruit abd my friend had pancakes. Tge service was swift but we didn't feel hurried and were still feeling full several hours later. Will definitely return.

   We took our 11 yr old for a birthday treat with grandparents, we’ve always had a good time here but tonight was extra special with especially great service. On request our waiter put a candle in our sons desert and sang happy birthday! We really appreciated this and how friendly and professional he was.

    The Plough is well run, and the staff are all friendly and helpful. There is a good choice on the menu and all was well presented. Excellent poke bowl!
