Golfing friends first trip to Maui. Dream come true to see the Kapalua course in person.
Super, fantastic, wonderful, yummy all around goodness.
Great food and wonderful service
We had the seared ahi which was the best I've ever had (and I've had a lot of seared ahi). Our server (Miguel) was attentive but not overly so, he suggested a fabulous red wine. Views are spectacular! What else do you want in a dining experience?
We asked for a table with an unobstructed view but when we arrived none were available. We were seated at a table with a good view of the server station. We asked to wait. The host was very accommodating. We waited 15 minutes and then were seated at an awesome table. Our server was excellent and the food was as well. Will definitely recommend and will return ourselves. The view is oustanding but you do pay for it.
Incredible service, food was good, I had the Eggs Benadict with sausage, my wife hade the Bananas Foster- very tasty but the pancakes were a little tough.
Whether you are a golfer or not the view is gorgeous.
Hostess was rude when I asked for an empty table with better view.
The food and service was good, not as good as it use to be, menu is too limited, but overall we had an enjoyable time
1st main course selections not available. Salad had zero taste. Main Course served cold / luke warm. Server took forever to greet us. Didn't bring refills. All courses took forever to be served.
Asked for eggs Benny over med. all were hard. English muffin overdone. Very little hollandaise sauce. Potatoes very crisp
We had a great experience at this restaurant 20 years ago. Ambiance is still amazing , but the food was not great and definitely not worth the money. It was Covid 19 safe and they were sensitive to dietary restrictions . Next time , will go for a drink
Great server, beautiful views, food was excellent. Nice casual. People were in shorts and flip flops or dresses and heels.
Amazing location, staff and ambiance, lunch menu was $$$ but probably wouldn’t order again.
We love this place and we’re excited that they have reopened. The food is amazing, service is impeccable, and the view cannot be beat. For a classy respite from the beach scene, come indulge in luxury reminiscent of a quieter Hawaiian experience.
We loved our experience at the Plantation House. Even though the day was a little cloudy, the view of the golf course, ocean, and Molokai was awe-inspiring. We had a nice lunch and drinks, all at a price that was a great value considering the experience.
PS: I accidentally left my charge card there and the hostess was very accommodating, leaving the card in their safe and returning it to me (after diligent ID verification) a few days later. We took the opportunity to have another great lunch there - this time with better weather.
Just unbelievable food. The scallops and Ahi poke was amazing.
A little disappointing to say the least. The views are incredible but the food & service have something to be desired. Had a beet salad to start and it was really dry. Then we had the Ahi and the Mac crusted Mahi.
Ahi had little to no flavor and the Mahi was very dry. The Pineapple Upside down cake was really good for dessert.
The service was more of just an order taking experience as the staff never engaged with us. There was no descriptions of the menu, just the standard do you know what you want.
For $100+/person I can name 5 places on the island I'd rather visit.
I feel so spoiled by your generous service and attention to every detail. Thank you for making our Valentines Day one we will always remember. This is the most special place on Maui 🌺
We love eating here. We have eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner. Never disappointed.
Valentines Day Brunch was Amazing!
Went for Valentines Day lunch. Lovely seating. Personable waiter. Drinks were good. Food was disappointing at best. Chicken sandwich had 4 thin end pieces of chicken breast cooked to the consistency of leather. Unable to eat much of it. Fish sandwich was drowning in condiments so couldn’t appreciate the actual fish.
Excellent service from Mike! Management was so friendly too.
Food was excellent and local fresh produce. Our beverages were delicious and the hostess was polite. We always love dining at The Plantation House!
Had a wonderful table in the space, which was well lighted and very quiet. All the shutters were open, so you could see the beautiful Kapalua golf course and up to the mountains... all the way out to the setting sun over Lanai. It was very nice, the service was great, and the food was also outstanding. Great time!
Soup of the day was awesome (seafood chowder). Worth it just for that! Service was great. Views were pretty. Entrees (steak and Mahi Mahi were average).
Outstanding location. Excellent food and service. A highlight of our annual trip to Maui. Will not disappoint.
Plantation House is a must on your trip to Maui! Incredible views, relaxing vibe and delicious brunch! We’ll be back!
Perfect spot for a fantastic meal.
Great experience. Food was amazing. The mahi mahi was great and the pineapple upside down cake was literally the best dessert I’ve ever had in my life. Services was excellent. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
Covid precautions feels more golf clubhouse than fine dining compared to previous visits.
Server forgot drink orders and started over again. Chicken with Faro delicious. Strip steak while very good was certainly not worth $49. Fish catch was good but not excellent, again not worth the price.
View beautiful. Lovely lady who sat us was so nice and helpful. Thank you.
After the renovation, we sat at a table on the window looking at the golf course with the large sloping downward hill. I don’t know if there before but they built a ledge with lava rocks filling in. It blocks a large amount of view of the golf course because it just outward. What a shame.
Each bite, as we watched the sunset, was excellent. Our server, Noah, made the night perfect with recommendations and attention to every detail. Shrimp scampi, sesame ahi, macadamia nut mahi mahi, pineapple upside down cake 💯 Awesome!
Amazing food, but bring a water bottle because no one will refill your water or drinks and you won’t be able to find your server or ask for anything else you may need.
We had a lovely meal at the Plantation. The Mac nut crusted Mahi mahi was delicious. The Mai tais are perfect. Robin, our server, was attentive but not cloying. Excellent meal!
You can’t beat this view at sunset! Our server was friendly and fun and made great meal suggestions. The seafood chowder to start was amazing! We had the steak for dinner and it was one of the best we’ve ever had. Perfectly cooked and so juicy. We will be back again for sure!
Great food, unbeatable view, attentive service.
Deducted a star due to the hostess who was extremely rude.
Just plain fabulous as always. Chelsea, out server was very warm inviting and efficient.
This is a must do on Maui.
Need to add more lunch items. Food needs to be improved!
We come here every year while in Maui. Spectacular view, service and food.
Lovely views, excellent waitperson!
Excellent service and food. A view like no other of the Pacific and Molokai and Lanai with whales jumping.
