The ambience is very romantic, but I honestly found the food to be okay. There was nothing special about the entrees they offered. The menu was very typical Italian with not much ‘out of the box’ type of flavors or dishes. The service was wonderful and the cocktails were perfect. I’m not really sure what the hype is about this place other than the atmosphere. I recommend eating here only if you’re in the mood for basic Italian food.
Excellent service in a time where that seems to be difficult to find. The food is fantastic, full of flavor and sizeable portions. Great cocktails. Sitting outside on a sunny day looking out at the Sound was beyond pleasant. Plenty of shade, lots of pretty flowers, great vibe. Also appreciated there wasnt music blaring which made the ambiance quite nice (although we were outside, so cannot comment on inside experience). The best dining experience I've had in Seattle in a long time.
The Pink Door has been one of my favorite restaurants for many years. It never disappoints. The ambience, the views, the service and most of all the food - it's all top notch all the time!
Was a busy Mother's Day but we had an incredible meal, very creative (the dish of Peas totally exceeded wish list). Great service, very careful to prevent any COVID issues. Extremely pleasant people working there
I'M IN LOOOOOVE! The Pink Door has my heart and taste buds forever!
PD and I have been seeing each other for a few years now and not even Covid could break us up❤😊
Dining at The Pink Door has been my traditional go to for my birthday, New Years Eve, special occasions and/or ANY reason I can find to dine there. The casual chic ambiance, creative cocktails, entrees that will tantalize your taste buds, and delish desserts to accompany a beautiful espresso are a few of the reasons I love this place!
Classy meets comfort at the Pink Door, thanks to the owners ability to hire an attentively professional crew. Hostesses, wait crew, bussers, etc. they ALL do their best to give me a fantastic dinning experience. I've never been disappointed and I'm sure you wont be either. Buon Appetito!!
Mother's Day Brunch was really a lunch. Food was great as well as the service even as there were no morning items. Guess they can sell more alcohol with a lunch menu. That didn't detract from the fact that we ate very well and at a fair price.
Always a great experience coming here! Highly recommend
Always a favorite place to go, but also always a pain to get reservations for. Great food and our server was great. The basil cake was a little funky so I'm not sure I'd order that again but I really enjoyed everything else.
Sad that there was no show. That's what I went for. Update your website so people know there will not be a show.
We had an amazing time! Very socially distanced, clean, and great food!
We had a delicious meal in a beautiful environment with a view.
Dining room had a nice view with evening light. No ambient music however so the vibe was a little awkward.
Menu items we ordered tasted very average with decent flavors but nothing to get excited about. Ciopino taste was flat, but full of tasty seafood.
The spinach lasagna was perfect! I will definitely be there again!
A gem in the Pike Place Market. Imaginative interpretations of bistro and trattoria staples, with Pacific Northwest touches. The tuna crudo is without equal in Seattle, oyesters on the half shell were perfectly shucked and expertly served (brine was intact). Frozen mignonette a fun and tasty take.
Vegetarian options are inventive, interesting and, like all the first and second courses, very well balanced.
Wine list is well curated, with unique selections at reasonable prices (there are a few unique splurges as well) that expand horizons.
It’s always such fun to dine here... the ambience always makes you smile and the menu is creative and and delicious.
Don’t miss the Cioppino!
Warm reception and service. Food was delicious especially the lasagna.
Great food and drinks. We loved the wait staff! We sat outside facing the water! Very nice!
Wonderful food, waitress was very nice and knowledgeable. Atmosphere was pleasant. Recommend to everyone.
Delicious food at decent prices for a restaurant which recommends smart casual attire. Cute ambiance, great view if you sit outside; options to sit inside as well. Staff were friendly and informative. We're planning our next dinner date here ASAP!
We have always loved the Pink Door and it will remain a favorite. On this trip, during Covid, we were seated on what is typically a beautiful patio. Strangely, there was a noticeable lack of effort put into sprucing the only seating they have up. There were no lovely flowers on tables, or touches to create the ambiance especially needed at this time of year if your only choice is al’fresco. We were there for a 3:30 late lunch early dinner, glass of wine on the sunny patio. 2 great 2 tops were wide open, with intimate surrounding and next to edge with “the view”. We were seated near the entry to the patio at a 4 top up against the wall. This is to keep waitstaff sections even but not always a great deal for customers. The food was good, not great. I’d give it a solid B grade. They have been better in the past. Our waiter was great. Just right. Will I go back? For sure. I live here so it will be awhile. Do I hope they up the food game and ambiance they are known for? I do.
We had an exceptional afternoon on the outside patio. We loved every minute - from the fabulous server to the wine list and food choices. It was a special day!
We were looking for a luncheon to celebrate an important occasion. The Pink Door is one of our favorite Seattle Restaurants, but due to Covid we thought it might be scaled back a bit. It wasn't. We had the full, fabulous Pink Door experience, plus it was quiet!!
Our waiter was a gem who added to the experience beautifully.
Lunch on the patio on a warm Seattle day was wonderful. I liked the service and the food. The benches are a little uncomfortable but everything else was terrific.
Food was disappointing although the service was pretty okay. Bread before meal was served cold. I had some sand in my clam and let the server know, she was just okay...?do you want another dish? Not really much resolving. There wouldn’t be a next time.
The family tried out The Pink Door Sunday afternoon. Place wasn’t too crowded. Everyone working there was very friendly. Waiter service was great. Food was awesome. We’d definitely plan on returning.
Amazing. Greta was wonderful. Everything was exceptional.
Delicious food, great service, and a lovely atmosphere. My only complaint is that we had to sit on uncomfortable stools next to the bar, despite the fact that we made a reservation. Food was outstanding though, would love to come back for a date night again soon.
Perfect for a special date night 🍷
Great Italian food and an amazing atmosphere for a date
Overhyped. Ambiance is boring. Definition of pretentious.
Consistently great food and service. One of our favorite places to dine! Highly recommended.
Absolutely amazing food and atmosphere!!!! Service was outstanding drinks were great!
Wonderful food and service!
Lunch with three friends, all of us fully vaccinated. We were delighted to be seated on the patio/deck. Perhaps because it has been so long, the food, service, ambience were practically perfect and a refreshing change from isolation.
The food was amazing and exceptional service! Will be back again!
Always the best!
Got seated right away in a beautiful spot! It was peaceful and sunny. The waitress was so kind and took her time with us. Every dish was delish! Especially the lasagna!
Difficult to find because there was no sign anywhere on the building. The only indication is by the color of the door. Seating by the window offers fantastic view of the Pike Market.
Excellent! Meatball was not salty at all, and the pasta was not greasy nor too light. Linguine had lots of clams!
Tanya was very helpful and served us in a prompt manner.
bad waiter experience. condescending to us from the get go. girlfriend was not happy.
The Pink Door never disappoints. We are happy that our first visit post pandemic lockdown was all that we day dreamed it would be. Great service & delicious food. Thank you for being such a fantastic restaurant.
