The Pink Door is an independently owned (never cloned, never genetically modified) restaurant that has been quietly dedicated to fresh & local Italian food since 1981. Its seafood & produce driven menu has been the central theme throughout its wildly popular domain in Seattle's Pike Place Market.
It's all about the lasagna. Seriously. It is the reason we dine here.
The food was amazing, the service was also outstanding. Very impressed and we will be back when you’re open again.
We did not get to experience this supposed hip spot in Seattle as the restaurant was somewhat empty. No Ariel show. The waiter was in a seemingly bad mood. Never asked about the food. When I asked my family if I was getting birthday dessert within his hearing, he informed me it wasn’t free but I could have one!! Free was not my intention! It was rude.
The food was incredible. The venue was amazing! The view from the window seats is stunning! The staff was kind, helpful and quick. If you want to spoil yourself just a little I can not recommend the Pink Door more.
Fun evening with great waiter and delicious food
Whenever I have friends from out of town, I always like to bring them to Pink Door...if you can get in of course! Quality food in a great space. If your schedule allows, be sure to dine there during one of their music/dance shows. One of my favorite spots in the city for sure.
Delicious food, with great ambience accentuated by the live music. Good wine list also (as expected at an Italian joint)
It was absolutely amazing !!!
The Lasagna was to die for
Great Ariel acrobatic show above you while dinning. Waiter had great hospitality and suggestions with food to chose from as well as pairing with wine. The restaurant had a great theme. The wine and food choice by the help of the waiter was excellent.
Food and service needs to be improved to be on a par with the ambiance.
Bigger then we thought it would be great environment. Not too loud but you could be social and not disturb your neighbors. It’s beautiful and perfect for a nice night out.
This restaurant was over hyped, and underwhelming. Our hostess seemed annoyed by our presence, and our server was non-attentive.
The Prosecco was good, but the entrees were bland and under-seasoned. Highlight of the meal was the arancini appetizer.
We didn’t stay for dessert, as nothing on the menu seemed appealing. We ended with a limoncello, paid our check, then left.
There are so many great restaurant options in Seattle, and I will not return or recommend based on my disappointing experience.
Great service, amazing view. Mediocre food.
As always, great service, lovely ambience, and superb food. I am always feeling as if I had a special experience after my meal at the Pink Door!
It was great!
The lasagna melted in our mouths. The rabbit was spectacular. The Dungeness Crab Caesar has a nice portion and good flavor. Service was excellent. And the environment from the style to the view was wonderful. It’s no wonder it’s always busy. Thank you for a nice night out.
We dined at The Pink Door in celebration of my daughter's 30th birthday. Everything about the experience was perfect. The food was excellent and the ambiance was wonderful. She had a tarot card reading with Eugenia before dinner and really enjoyed it. As we were leaving the live music started. Only wish we could have stayed a little longer but by then the place was packed. I would definitley recommend The Pink Door.
A favorite place! Love the view from the dining room and eating on the deck in good weather is amazing. The view and the food and the service. ..... our family favorite😊
There is a reason why the Pink Door has become a mainstay restaurant in Seattle. Since 1981 it has been serving delicious, fresh food in a space that is ambiance rich. It is so comfortable, almost like being in a good friend's home for a special dinner. Eerick, our server was so professional in giving us outstanding service without being intrusive. You cannot go wrong with any menu choice. I had the Crab stuffed Petrale Sole with Lemon Piccata sauce, it was divine.
Everything was incredible. The staff was so attentive and friendly. The ambience was a perfect setting for a wonderful dinner. Our meals were absolutely off the charts delicious, seriously one of the best meals of my life! I can’t wait to go back!
The staff was very helpful. The food was excellent and the experience was very positive. Particularly enjoyed the aerialist which was a unique touch.
We had awesome seats in the bar yo watch the acrobat act. Food and dessert was exceptional.
It was a nice experience and a good meal. The"pink door, " was a little hard to find, because it's very discreet, and of the alley not the main road. The view was great. Our reservation was for 10:30pm, but I thought that I had made it for 5:30pm,so we milled around the alley for a while before dinner. There were several nice little bars in there as well to pass the time . So it wasn't like we were just standing in an alley for 5 hours. We also visited Kelles Irish Brewery and The Whiskey Bar while waiting.
Started with the Caesar salad; followed by butternut squash risotto and ending with scallops. Plenty of food to share and loved the view of the sunset and Ferris wheel. Great service!
Did not disappoint. I have not been there for more than twenty years and now I wonder why.
We sat at the bar. The place itself is beautiful with nice, soft lighting, and the noise level was not too much, even with the band playing. The hostesses were OK. The bartender who was our server, not so great. She made minimal eye contact with us the whole time and gave a perfunctory smile when she handed us the bill. No, "how's your food?" "how's your evening been?" or anything. Maybe she was just tired, but come on, when you're a bar tender in a sought-after place like this, you gotta just fake it (convincingly!) until your shift is over. That's your job. Paying that expensive bill after being snubbed was not a nice experience. I would try the place again because having a different server would have made a difference. If I were the owner of the restaurant and this bartender were my employee, I'd tell her to snap out of it, or else!
Good food but terrible service. Our server seemed to disappear and we waited for 30+ min before we could ask for our check. We wanted to order dessert and more wine but no one ever stopped by to check in on us. Cute place but not worth it for bad service.
