The Pink Door

The Pink Door is an independently owned (never cloned, never genetically modified) restaurant that has been quietly dedicated to fresh & local Italian food since 1981. Its seafood & produce driven menu has been the central theme throughout its wildly popular domain in Seattle's Pike Place Market.
Here’s another must try if you’re in the area. There’s no name outside, just a Pink Door in a small alley. The entrance is on street level but once you walk in, you go down a few steps to the main level of the restaurant. Great service and excellent food. We had the Salume/cheese board for starter. I had the squid ink pasta and my boyfriend went for the Linguine de Vongole. Both were very good.
James G was awesome! Food was spectacular per usual. Always have to come here for dinner when visiting.
This fun to find restaurant has a great ambiance that captivates you as soon as you walk in. The servers were outstanding and the wine list was worth the visit alone.
Best Valentines lunch ever. Start to finish it was perfection.
Beautiful view and delicious food, super great service
Seriously everything was perfect. I cannot find a fault!
A really great value for the quality of food and atmosphere, especially for Valentines Day!
Everything was perfect and delicious!
The Pink Door is absolutely a very romantic restaurant in my opinion. It has that old saloon feel with some cabaret jazz live music. Food is absolute delicious along with the service! Can’t go wrong for lunch or dinner for any occasions.
Great view. Prices and portions are very reasonable
My wife and I went there on a Tuesday afternoon, and we didn’t know what to expect. We were very happy with the entire experience. The staff that greeted us were very friendly, the waitress was very friendly, and the food was excellent. If you like Italian food, you will love The Pink Door. We have had Italian food all over the country, and this was one of the very best.
Anything on the menu is okay. Not particularly outstanding, but nothing to criticize on. The server we had was terrible. All the other staffs were fantastic.
Visiting the area for a short vacation. Got to enjoy the fabulous trapeze show on a bustling Monday night. Good was excellent
We caught the aerial show and everyone was delighted! Always a treat to be at the Pink Door!
Service was great! We had three kids with us five and under. They accommodated us no prob. We even asked for plain pasta and butter for the kids thats not on the menu and they didnt make a big fuss about it. We went there on a Monday night and we had this fantastic aerial show. Definitely a must when going to Seattle!
The. Best. Ever.
You should go.
This place was so unique. We caught the trapeze act and then we had the most lovely dinner. My scallops melted in my mouth my husbands steak was prepared perfectly. We can't wait to go back ♡
Highly outstanding except that staff too often asked me finished, it bothered conversation and mood a little.
Quite simply, the best Italian food I have ever tasted.
Once again, we had a wonderful dinner at The Pink Door. We had to wait briefly for our table, but we lucked out and found space at the bar to sit and have a drink. The bartenders were attentive and friendly. When we were escorted to our table, the hostess even carried our drinks on a tray and made sure the bar bill seamlessly transferred to our server, which was a nice touch. Our table was nice and the candles helped set the mood for the room. Our server was quite knowledgeable of the menu, and was patient with our questions, as well as our decision to eat at a bit more leisurely pace this evening. To top it off, he treated us to some Prosecco so we could toast the occasion. That was a lovely touch, too. Our food was good, but it was the service that made our anniversary dinner so enjoyable. Thank you to you and your staff for a great date and yummy food!
We love the Pink Door!!!We come about once a month. The food and service has always been exceptional
we really enjoyed our lunch at the pink door. The ambience is really good.
The best service and food. Enjoy, be aware make reservations months in advance. We love this restaurant.
Best dining experience in Seattle! We knew to make reservations well ahead of time and sat down right before sunset. We ordered the best food of our lives - the lasagna is splendid and the chocolate cheesecake was spectacular.
So happy the venerable Pink Door continues to deliver outstanding food and service!
The food was phenomenal. The decor was fun and charming. I’ll be eating here every time I visit Seattle.
Excellent service and food. Was disappointed that they didn’t offer a free dessert for my friend who was celebrating his birthday.
Such friendly staff, great service and best food
Great experience and food, excelente music and service
The food and ambiance were fabulous! We had a couple of annoyances though that made for a less than enjoyable experience. The bottle of Prosecco we ordered had different prices on their food versus drink menu. The waiter apologized and said we’d have to pay the higher price and that the lower priced menu hadn’t been updated. Then, we ordered one of the specials, which was described as having 6 ounces of fish. The waiter let us know that they’d run out of the fish but could substitute scallops with the same sides for $4 more. We said okay and ordered it. Upon being served, we were disappointed that the meal only had 3 scallops! No where near the 6 ounces of the original fish offered. While I understand that fish varies by price, if the restaurant runs out and offers a substitute the substitute should be comparable in size and at the same price. That they raised the price and served less food left us with a negative attitude toward the restaurant and the way they handled it. Perhaps because both the beverage and food had issues, we were more affected. Not a great first time experience.
Amazing restaurant. Fun decor and ambiance, and wonderful food. One of my favorite restaurants ever. Service can be improved, but overall really yummy!
A must see! Music, great drinks and amazing food! If you find yourself without a reservation go to the bar and make a friend. It’s a relaxed space. You will love it!
Great food and ambiance! Get the rosemary gimlet with tanqueray gin instead of vodka 10/10
Caesar salad with crab was excellent! Lasagna is a must have! Garlic bread was amazing. No flour chocolate cake is a great to go dessert!
First of all I had no idea there was a whole other side of the restaurant! I have only sat in the front by the stairs, and to be honest I never want to again because that back dining area is just so lovely and the view top notch. Our food was amazing but above all else...Thomas. Oh Thomas, what grand service and exquisite table side manner. Cannot wait to return.
I always visit the Pink Door when I make it to Seattle. The quality of the food, drinks, and service are fantastic. The lasagna and seasonal mocktail are always a pleasure, but don't pass up the spaghetti nero alla pescatora if it's on the menu!
Delicious food and wonderful ambience in a romantic and whimsical setting. We enjoyed a cocktail at the bar while we watched a breathtaking aerial performance. Dinner at a table along the windows gave us a lovely view of the water. Amazing all around experience!
Great experience and outstanding food. Nice view of the sound. Waiter was knowledgeable and on point. Answered all questions.
Had a great time at the Pink Door for my girlfriends birthday. Awesome food and atmosphere.
This was amazing! A must have Seattle experience.
