   From the moment we walked in the door, we felt welcomed and appreciated. Our server, DJ, was outstanding! He is extremely knowledgeable about all the dishes, differences in tastes and textures, and isn’t shy about recommendations. Our experience was a delight to all the senses, especially “taste”. Every plate was made with care. The octopus was SO flavorful, the blackened char flaked perfectly, and the lady peas side was boosted by the inclusion of blue crab. We look forward to dining here again.

   Everyone and everything was great. From Todd at the host table, to our wonderful server, Hannah. The food was perfect. There was enough selection for a vegetarian and someone with a gluten intolerance. The food was perfectly cooked and seasoned. We ordered oysters, deviled eggs, 2 kale salads, asparagus, broccolini, peas, red fish, grouper, hush puppies, key lime pie, and vanilla ice cream. We also had virgin mojitos, gin gimlets, and a bourbon cocktail. Everything was perfection. Thank you Optimist.

   The cobia was just as good as it was the day before. They have some of the best prepared fish in the city. Ten out of ten. Great resteraunt.

    Our dinner experience was outstanding. The host graciously welcomed us and wished us a happy anniversary, our server was phenomenal, and the food was divine. Our server was friendly, attentive and very knowledgeable and detailed about the menu. We ordered the bluefin tuna and grouper cheeks to start and they were both delicious. The grouper cheeks very buttery, Smokey and melted in your mouth. Next we had the wood smoked oysters which were terrific. We finished with the redfish and Cobia and didn’t regret those choices for a minute. Our server even treated us with a glass of bubbles for an anniversary toast. All in all a wonderful evening and great way to celebrate our 29th anniversary!
