The Mac and Cheese poppers were delicious. My date had shrimp and scalloped fettucine and loved it. The horseradish mashed potatoes are absolutely delicious!

Beautiful place. You need reservations way in advance. Service and food was wonderful. Quite possibly the best restaurant in Savannah, particularly if you are interested in historical sites.

We had a great dinner, the staff was all very pleasant and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. They had good historical facts and ghost stories. Will definitely dine here again!

I had a reservation for 9 PM. I went by about six and they were able to get me in about 630.

I had the chicken pot pie and it was more than delicious. I also tried the fried green tomatoes for the first time in my life and it was more than delicious. I am not a southern girl.

I couldn’t eat all the food so I brought it back to my hotel and ate the chicken pot pie about three hours later and even after heating it up it was still very very good. I had the biscuits in the morning for breakfast heated it for a few seconds and they were so good also. I highly recommend this place.

We had hoped to secure dinner reservations but this place fills up fast, although after lunch there, I’m not sure why. The ambiance is fantastic, in a beautifully maintained older home, but we came from St. Augustine and are used to The Preserved that manages this same feat but with better service and food. We started with the cheese plate which was laughable. It was four slices of cheese, a handful of berries and jelly for $22. Alligator Soul, which we had later in the evening was much more robust! Our wait was on Coke I think. He wouldn’t interact with us directly, just filled our glasses, removed our plates and stared at the wall. The hosting staff was phenomenal and engaging. They should wait tables, not the weird staff they have doing it now. My husband ordered the fried chicken salad and that was awesome. I got the BLT salad and while it was delicious, it was a 1/4 of the size of his. I had to order a soup to complete the meal, after it had arrived. In short, don’t believe the hype. They are riding comfortably on being well known for a long wait list, so they don’t need to focus on service or portions.

Fortunately, a 10:30pm slot opened up that coordinated well with my night arrival in Savannah. The staff called me and told me on that night that I could arrive earlier if I wanted to. After getting settled in my hotel, I headed over to the Olde Pink House at about 9:45pm.

It is the toughest dinner reservation to get in Savannah for a reason. The food is the best Southern food that I have had. The goat cheese artichokes were a great tasting appetizer due to the red pepper and honey mustard sauces. The blt salad that includes two fried green tomatoes (recommended by the server) is a must. I opted for the salmon with horseradish mashed potatoes and cucumber dill salad with creme fraiche. I enjoyed the presentation and flavor.

There were so many other great entree choices that I am just going to have to come back.

We had 9;00 reservations upstairs but when we went for a pre dinner drink downstairs we were mind blown at the ambiance and decided to dine at the bar. The food was exceptional but the ambiance and piano live music made the evening magical. We can’t wait to go back

Outstanding venue! Historical old building that still reflects the history and architecture of the colonial and Revolutionary War periods. Food is Low Country cuisine with a contemporary twist. Ingredients and preparation are quality. Cocktails are their own original recipes and hit the nail on the head. I enjoyed their own Ryed-on Whistle Pig rye take on the classic Manhattan. My wife: their unique "The Proper" made with Bombay Bramble Gin, Lemon Juice, Prosecco. Their wine list shows outstanding values in both domestic and imports -- with many on list available by-the-glass.

On our visit we had a delicious starter of their corn meal coated fried oysters -- five large tasty shellfish with a Green Goddess sauce. My entree was their twin crispy fried lobster tails, served with a piquant oriental sauce on the side. For my wife, it was the grilled pork tenderloin. A generous sliced portion with a bourbon molasses glaze, collards, and a sweet potato with pecan vanilla butter. Everything was truly yummy! No room for desert.

Sabrina, our server, was welcoming, extremely knowledgeable, and ready with great recommendations. Staff were all outstanding hosts!

The Olde Pink House is definitely worthy of a repeat visit on our next visit to Savannah.

I called several weeks in advance looking for reservations was told only table open @ 10pm, talked it over with my husband he said that would work with his schedule we made reservations on OpenTable. Confirmed reservation numerous times through OpenTable. 9 PM day of dinner restaurant called asking if we would be there for 10 o’clock reservation said yes they said we could come earlier if we would like we said no 10 o’clock works for us. 9:50 I received a phone call that I missed from the restaurant tried calling the restaurant back no one answered called twice. Came in at 10 o’clock found hostessed to be less than courteous mentioned that she had called I also mentioned that I had tried to call back and nobody answered the phone. Our waiter was phenomenal!
Where was a young man but the class of working in a fine restaurant probably most of his life couldn’t have asked for better service!!

The food was delicious but I don’t think it was worth the hype! The server was okay, I expected better service for a restaurant like this. I’ve asked for the bread twice and it never came. He greeted us among arrival, took our orders, bring out our dishes and gave us the bill at the end of our meal. He did his job but nothing special. Usually at a place like this, the server is personable and friendly! Would I visit them again? Probably not!

My husband & I had this restaurant recommended to us by a friend as a "must". So I made reservations over a month in advance. When we arrived, we were impressed with the ambiance, decor and professionalism of the staff. I ordered a filet mignon - medium - when I received it, I ate the ends of it which where medium but when I cut into the middle, it was raw - not rare, RAW! I just had the same experience at Poogan's Porch in Charleston! I will say that I hate to send my plate of food back while my husband finishes his meal . . . but will say, the server informed me we would have the filet taken off the ticket. I left fairly hungry and disillusioned at such a nice & recommended place. Wine was great, cheese platter was great . . . filet was not!

Absolutely beautiful restaurant! I dined once before in 2013 and enjoyed that experience more than this more recent one. On this occasion, people were dressed very casually. There was also no musician like there was in 2013. The food was still excellent, but it didn’t feel as special. We were seated right next to the front door and the floor underneath our table was completely covered in crumbs. It’s definitely something to do in Savannah, but I probably won’t return on my next trip.

The decor and ambiance were so lovely that we rated it 4 stars for that alone. We started out well with a yummy local cheese tray with the interesting twist of grit flatbreads as accompaniment! After that, the food frankly was so-so. My pork chop was dry and the sides way over salted. My companions meal were so forgettable that two days later they can't remember what they ate. Needless to say, we skipped dessert. Bottom line, absolutely lovely surroundings and good attention during service. That same attention needs to be paid to the food prep.

Way overrated. Shrimp cocktail was probably sitting at the kitchen counter for hours waiting for a sucker like us to ordered.
Very disorganized- too many people at the hostess station and none doing a thing.
Staff needs to be trained properly on how to serve and to attend to clients with their drinks.
Another couple walked to our table and started chatting with us about how disappointed they were with the place as well.
Basically another tourist trap!

Ariel was attentive, knowledgeable, and so extremely kind. She treated our eight year old son like with such kindness and made him feel so special. The food was amazing as usual. My husband and I both had the crispy flounder and our son had the salmon. No room for dessert this time but the choices looked fabulous.

I took a second bite of my peanut butter dessert and pulled a loooooong hair out of my mouth. The manager watched it happen. He and my waitress apologized. Manager said it (hair in food) doesn’t happen often, but what about not at all?? And charged for everything except dessert (which I did not eat). Not sure pulling an entire hair out of my mouth constitutes a $100 dinner. Will never return.
