The Olde Pink House Restaurant
Crab and Sausage Spring Roll, Honey Mustard Drizzle
Low Country She Crab Soup
Pan Seared Jumbo Lump Crab Cake and Fried Green Tomatoes, Rémoulade Sauce
Never have had a bad meal here. Our go-to place with visitors to Savannah.
The house itself is gorgeous and really cool to walk around. Our waitress was really nice although it seemed like she was very new and still getting her bearings. The food was very disappointing - it looked like fast food that had been heat up and put on a plate. We love food so wouldn’t recommend if that’s what you’re interested in.
Started with delicious Sidecar and Old Fashioned. Fried green tomato awesome! Also grits and shrimp roll amazing! Pork sliders great also. Cool ambiance and fun waitress.
We were last here summer 2019 and the food was better and more elegantly presented then. Our meal this time, while good, was just sort of thrown on the plate. Our server was fabulous and of course the restaurant is beautiful, but it all felt more rushed, more 'touristy' than before. Would not rush back.
Best meal ever!
Crab cakes and fried green tomatoes were on point!
Pecan butter sweet potatoes- omg!
Excellent food. Excellent, top notch service with attentive actions to make you feel special. Great food presentation
We had the Macs Fried Chicken and fried shrimp/Oysters. Both were great. The fried chicken was the best this chicken lover has ever had
The food was incredible and the service was just as fantastic. From start to finish a great experience. Everyone we interacted with was great. Major thank you to our waitress, Stephanie, for making the evening so great! Highly recommend the BLT dish!
Best restaurant in Savannah. The service and food were top notch.
Food was excellent. I tried the fried oysters and goat cheese/artichoke appetizer. Both excellent. My entree was the stuffed grouper with crab meat special. Wife had the crab cake. Pecan pie for dessert topped it off. Out server, Barry, was most attentive and felt he “was a friend” by the end of dinner. Service could not have been better. Recommend making reservations at least a month a head.
Didn’t get seated until 20 mins after reservation and then was seated outside on the hot sidewalk . Food was overhyped and very meh. Wouldn’t recommend. Go elsewhere for better food.
Service, ambiance, and food were all exquisite! A very special meal. Pimento cheese breadsticks were outstanding. Staff were very helpful and professional. Will definitely return the next time we’re in Savannah. Book ahead!
Great spot and ambiance, food was awesome and service was on point, had a drink in Rathskeller with piano player going at it, nice vibe
Our waitress, Katie, was excellent. Not only did she attend to our dining needs with the utmost hospitality, but she also gave us much of the history of the house. She was able to tell us some things to do and see beyond what we had already planned in Savannah. The food was delicious with the chef preparing some local favorites. We had the crusted grouper and breaded pork chop. The sides were spot on for local cuisine as well: mac & cheese, grits and collard greens. Lastly but certainly not least the bar downstairs was super cool vibe. It used to be the mansions kitchen and laundry during colonial times. This is a must stop for anyone visiting Savannah!
I want to tell ya, there is nothing more intimidating than being a new server, and then it being at a fine establishment like this. Ours (her name is Leah) was three weeks in and was absolutely AWESOME!!! My wife and I have been to many dining experiences, both local dives and extremely high end, in the states and internationally. Leah (pronounced Lee-ahh) has set the bar for all of them. It was my wife's birthday as well and Leah presented herself as a trusted family member. Absolutely perfect. Ohhh... food you wonder... nothing was less than expected. Most exceeded our expectations. This was our first time visiting and I can guarantee we WILL drive from Tampa just to eat here on a Saturday Night for sure, and have a long weekend.
Excellent service. Excellent food. Great experience.
Everything was excellent.
We had a great experience at the Olde Pink House for our trip to Savannah! Our waitress was great and the food tasted amazing.
The food was delicious. Service was ok. We had a reservation for 6:30pm and arrived around 6:10pm. We were not seated until 6:45pm while even parties that were late for their 6:30pm reservation were seated before us. Not the best experience. It was kind of frustrating to sit/stand on their porch and watch others being seated before us with the same reservation time and even a later reservation time. Seems like they would have done something to make up tor their neglect.
First time eating at the Olde Pink House and the experience was great! We were seated on the second floor in an open room that was beautifully set up. The tables weren't too close, so having an intimate conversation was a success. Started off the the calamari and shrimp spring rolls which both were fantastic. My date had the she-crab soup and the shrimp and scallops on fettucine as his entrée which he absolutely enjoyed. I opted in to have the burger (I know, everyone says 'why did you get the burger?!') which was just as amazing and exactly what I needed! Our waitress was phenomenal and she made a suggestion to try out the "gin" cocktail (I cannot remember the name of it at the moment) which was surprisingly great! I say "surprisingly" because I'm not find of Gin at all, but this cocktail - you couldn't taste it. All in all, the place was beautiful, the service was phenomenal and the food/drinks were amazing!
Thanks for having us!!
Solid food, great service, in an amazing and fun location!
6:30 pm on 6-6-21 no flounder dishes. Shrimp dishes great, services great beautiful house. We would go again.
Ambience was exceptional and food delicious. Piano player was an added bonus. We sat downstairs-the manager was very friendly, attentive and informative. She and our server, Paige, really made the night special. No one rushed us in any way
The service was friendly, but interrupted our conversation too much. And the wine wasn’t poured properly (that may be too picky). My biggest complaint is that the we’re out of most of the dishes our party of four wanted to order, and we were there for a 5:30 pm reservation. I don’t know what people who came in later got. Not acceptable for a fine restaurant early in the evening. Great historic property, but I wouldn’t make an effort to go back.
We had a very late reservation so decided to just go for dessert. Our server was very cool with this and treated us as if we ordered the most expensive dinner. The praline basket was incredible and I’d recommend the basement for future visits.
Delicious, great atmosphere
The service was excellent but the food left a lot to be desired. We had high expectations based on reviews and cost but sadly we were let down. Don’t get sucked in by the hype. Many other restaurants in the area that deliver higher quality food.
One of the best meals I’ve ever had. Service was outstanding and it was obvious they knew the menu inside and out. Fantastic ambiance and every bite was incredible. Highly recommend coming here if you’re in Savannah. Make reservations way in advance!
We loved the food and ambience. We sat downstairs in what looked to be the old wine cellar. It was romantic. My husband had fried chicken and I had stuffed grouper. It was delicious. Service was good too. I had to make a reservation a month out. I recommend doing that if you can.
Our host Marqueal was great and our waitress Taylor was excellent. Taylor has a full knowledge of the history of the Pink House. They made our visit a pleasant evening!! We will be back in July!!
Fantastic blast from the past with amazing food and service!
We had such a great experience. The house is amazing, the service is amazing, and the food is amazing. I M hoping to get back to Savannah soon to come back here!
Food was great manager was super nice!!
Every time we dine here it’s wonderful! The service is impeccable and the atmosphere is so romantic and enchanting. Make reservations way ahead! Our server told us last night they are booked thru July!
Exceptional food and service. Loved the history lesson.
Amazing all around! Get the BLT Salad and the Praline basket for sure!!
Delicious food and drinks, attentive service and very adorable ambiance
The JP room was incredible. Such a wonderful evening and service impeccable!
