   Had the crab cakes, wedge, chicken piccata and berry pie. Very good food!! Wish the service was a little faster. Took 45 mins for starter to arrive after we ordered it.

   Dined over memorial weekend, a more popular time of year. Very lively ambience especially since it's connected to a piano lounge. Food was fair and in the higher price range. They use to have an all Italian menu but changed the it in the past few years to more contemporary with only a few Italian options. Overall, you're paying for the lively ambience and service. The food could use some work- I ordered a popular house dish which included a fried chicken with honey truffle sauce. The flavor was pretty bland and I had to request more honey and more truffle to make it taste good

   This really is a shame, we were really hoping for more from The Nest. The service is lacking, with staff clearly stressed having the helicopter boss (Dodi) hovering around. Oddly, this doesn't help with service, as the waitress seemed rushed and pulled in a million directions. The food was absolutely horrendous - cheap or old cuts of fish, served with flavorless carbs. Charging almost $50 for a couple of bites of bland, soggy fish is unacceptable. The side dishes were previously frozen or canned vegetables, I couldn't tell which but we knew they weren't fresh. We had high hopes for the drinks, as the flavor profiles sounded promising. But my gosh, the old fashioned was mostly sickly sweet simple syrup with a splash of whisky, and an entire slice of an orange just dumped in there. Still, it was better than the spicy Paloma, which I had to spit out. It tasted like raw jalapeño skin and sugar - it's hard to describe how bad it was. The atmosphere is renowned, lots of energy and music, but at that point just skip the dinner and go there for the other part of the Nest (bar area with dance floor). Keep it to beers or simple drinks, don't risk a specialty or menu drink - they'll charge a minimum of $17 for really bad beverages.

   The food quality was not great. The restaurant was extremely loud. The server was lovely though. It was an unfortunate experience. We won't be dining there again. The live music in the bar area is really the big draw to this location.

   Food was way better than last time . It took a little longer than usual . We arrived earlier requested to sit by the tables in the bar area but we were denied saying that those were reserved but when I called to confirm reservation I was told those tables by bar area are first come first serve so I don’t understand why when we were there earlier and those tables were empty we were told those were reserved ??? The owner still not nice she picks and chooses and forgets that us locals kept the nest n business during Covid and summer time ! I believe waiters sell those tables . very loud in the dinning side as usual . We moved to the bar side and found out that Kevin does not perform on Fridays & Saturdays anymore :/ bummer he is the MAIN reason why we keep going to the Nest ! He really entertains the crowd ! The person playing music was not the best ! The crowd isn’t the same younger people now . First time We leave before 10 pm . It was not the same . We really enjoy live bands not computers playing music . Sorry Nest but after 15 years of loyalty we are not going back.

   The piano bar entertainment wasn’t made available to diners. Instead the bar area seemed to be reserved for walk ins or other guests rather than those of us who actually paid for dinner. We spent $100+ at an early 4:30 dinner and weren’t even afforded a space at 5:30 to watch the show, and therefore we felt cheated. Over half the bar tables were empty with little reserved signs on them, but somehow we didn’t qualify for those either.

    The early bird dinners are a good value offering a wide choice of entrees until 5:30. Their soups are always interesting and tasty. I just wish they’d offer a dessert other than chocolate mousse , as good as it is.

    Loved this fun atmosphere. I didn't know what to expect. The dinner was fantastic, the wine was fantastic, the dessert was amazing. The very best part was the music and dancing after. We had so much fun. Was there with a business team and we had a blast. We were surrounded by happy, fun people of all ages. Service was phenomenal! We will definitely be back.

    We always have a great time at the Nest and last night was no different. We all ordered the wedge salad because it never disappoints! Then, two of us had the seared ahi with veggies. Everything tasted fresh and was cooked to perfection. One of us had the Mediterranean Sampler and it was a large portion of three different entrees. I tasted the cabbage rolls and they were really good. After dinner, we stayed and danced for a few hours!

    Wow! Dinner is always great...Encrusted sole was wonderful. service was very good as well...but it's the people watching and then the bar scenes and dancing. it's not a romantic dinner spot, but man is it fun. one of our favorites in the desert!

    We enjoy going to the Nest for the very good food and generally good service. The service for our visit yesterday was not as good as we expected. Very slow after meal service and long wait for desert order. We were never asked about a second drink. Perhaps a staffing issue with need for more wait staff.

    My girlfriend and I were having a pre Mother’s Day celebration and unfortunately, on the way to the restaurant, my friend began to feel ill.  after waiting over 20 mins to have our order taken, I could tell that my friend might not be able to sit through a dinner. We let Our server know that we were not yet ready to order food.  It turns out that my friend was in fact, too sick to sit through dinner so we decided to call it a night and asked for our check after having two drinks. The manager, then comes to our table to confront us about not ordering any dinner, hovering over us, shaming us for not ordering food, ready to throw us out without show of any concern for my pale faced friend trying to hold it together (note: she was not drunk, she is experiencing some personal health, not Covid, issues) and let’s us know that we would need to go outside and get back in line. We let her know the situation with my friend and that we were leaving because my friend wasn’t feeling well. We had no intentions to go to the night club. If they had any issues with us not ordering food, the server could have let us know. also it was presumptuous of the staff to assume we were there for the night club. It was embarrassing and unnecessary. Thanks for ruining mom’s night out.

    Our waitress was lovely, but unfortunately, the rest of our experience was terrible. We sat outside on the patio, which was somewhat disheveled and had flies swarming. Despite this, we decided to give it a try and ordered three appetizers: Buffalo cauliflower, calamari fritti, and seared ahi tuna. All three dishes were disappointing - the cauliflower seemed previously frozen, the calamari resembled frozen lizards, and the tuna was not fresh. The wasabi served with the tuna also appeared to have come from a tube. We closed our tab after the appetizers, which came to about $60 for these subpar dishes. Our kind waitress subtracted the cauliflower from our bill, so we ended up paying $40. In hindsight, we should have known better when we walked into what seemed like a nightclub instead of a dining room. Don’t waste your time here.

    Extraordinary food. Escargot is a favorite. Noise level was very, very high as the dining room and music area are right next to each other. Staff is polite and efficient. A great dining experience. Wine list is solid.

    Our waitress and fellow staff were thoughtful and caring. Blonde hostess mgr ( apologize for not knowing her name) was very accommodating as we waited . Lovely owner was welcoming to her clientele .Great venue with talented entertainment of singers. Do visit when in town.

    We had reservations for dinner but only time open was 4:45pm. We are full time residents and we were going with our Canadian neighbors before they head back home. Figured we would eat dinner then go to the bar for just a while. The meals were absolutely delicious and our waitress was friendly. Definitely go for the food. It went downhill trying to go to the bar for an after dinner drink. The hostess (I think it’s owner Dodi) was rude and acted like we were bothering her. All the tables in the ‘bar’ at 6:30 were mostly empty but had “reserved” signs. When asked if we could sit she first said no then she told us we could sit in one only for an hour at a table near the entry door. What we saw was pretty sad. They turned away older couples or older female groups but would let in groups of young scantily dressed women and seat them in the bar as well as older men. It gave the atmosphere of a brothel. The bartenders weren’t even busy at that point standing around doing nothing. We had heard the piano music was good so we wanted to stay and dance. No piano but a synthesizer keyboard and two guys. Singing was ok, but nothing compared to other ‘piano bars’ or the band that the country club going away party had. Go for the dinner but skip the bar unless you are willing to be treated like a second class person or maybe paying big bucks to tip for a table.

    I chose the Nest to celebrate my 60th birthday as I had never been before and had heard so many great stories about the place. We arrived at 8:00pm for our reservation and found a table in the bar. The band that was playing I assume is the house band and they were excellent, the lead singer can sound just like the artist he is playing. Our servers were both excellent and the food was fabulous. If you were thinking about going for dinner, music or both I would highly recommend this restaurant.
