Our talented crew are dedicated to feeding the hungry people of Davis and the surrounding communities, recently receiving a Zagat Rating for food of 27, and voted Best Restaurant in Davis by the readers of Sacramento Magazine. We have also been called by Sunset Magazine has also called us quintessential Davis dining experience. Our seasonal menu has something new weekly to freshen the compact yet diversified selections, specializing in sustainable fresh fish, natural meats, local seasonal produce and house made desserts. Our reasonably priced, exclusively California wine list has something for every palate. MONDAVI VISITORS: We are just five short minutes away. Be sure to check early in the week for reservations. I am not sure why it took us so long to try this place out! Food was amazing - very tasty and fresh. Service was wonderful - our server, John, was very attentive and friendly. We had their house made lemonade and it was sweet (mild) and refreshing. Definitely would like to go back!

WE always have a good meal here. Service was really good and the food was great! Would love to see a few more menu options or an updated menu for more varieity. But definitely a great place to come.

Our party of four had a thoroughly enjoyable dinner at the Mustard Seed restaurant. The food was delicious and so well prepared. Ambiance is essential to an enjoyable meal and Mustard Seed hit the right balance. Pleasing background music, which is relaxing and you do not perceive until after. Serving staff was excellent and the restaurant did not feel so busy that you felt like you couldn't relax and enjoy the meal. Noise level was perfect for having a conversation around our table. Did I mention the food? It was fantastic and definitely worth the price. I actually took home leftovers, partly because there was plenty in my serving and also I wanted to save room for desert. Try the watermelon and feta salad, while it's still in season. Delightful. It's a dinner I'll remember for a while. The price wasn't cheap, then again price was right for a special dinner; very worthwhile.
