For an above average restaurant it would be nice to have real salt and pepper shakers instead of McCormick paper dispensers.

We had our wedding reception here 21 years ago and come back to celebrate annually. The food is still excceptional and the staff is pleasant and helpful. Our waitress was very engaging and gracious. I would come here more often if we were a bit closer.

Mill on the River is my favorite restaurant!! I have been here for holidays, specials and family gatherings!! I highly recommend the venue anytime of year but spring and summer outside dining is fabulous.

This is a great place to go to. The staff is well trained, knowledgeable and friendly. They want to wait on you. The food is tasty and very appealing to the eye.

From the moment we walked in we knew we were at a 5 Star establishment. The food, service and overall attention to detail was amazing. A big shout out to Gabriella who was above and beyond the best. Thanks to all and we will return.

We've been going for our anniversary every year for the past several years. Great outdoor seating, if you can get one. It's worth the wait, especially near the water. This past time, we waited for an outdoor seat, but we eventually took a seat inside, which we regretted afterward. When making the reservations online, you can specify the occasion (such as "anniversary"), and in the past, they would bring complimentary champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries. That did not happen this time, however, which was unfortunate, considering that was a nice perk not offered elsewhere. The food and drinks are always excellent. An Old Fashioned is my drink of choice, and they make it spot on every time, which is a drink which can easily be ruined by making it poorly. And don't forget the fresh-baked bread that comes out. Make sure you remember to ask for more. Overall a great place to go, a bit on the pricier side, but worth it.

It's simply to expensive for what my wife and I had. I'm not saying the food isn't good, as it is. I wouldn't call it phenomenal, just good. However, $225 after tip for two people at lunch is ridiculous anywhere. I won't go back... I can find food just as enjoyable for far cheaper elsewhere.
