We were having a family date night before my husbands relocation to Korea for work. We all did a 4 course experience. Our server was great at explaining how the menu worked, and gave us time to look at it. We dined at 7:45pm, which I would recommend much earlier timing! We were there ‘til nearly 10:00pm. Each course seemed to take longer than expected to serve. With this being a first time experience for us, I was surprised to find our food comes raw and is also cooked one by one in a pot. We are a family of 4 and seated with one burner. I did not want to use the same pot as family who ordered sea food, but I also didn’t want to prolong our dining any further, so frustrated, I just poured my whole plate into the pot to cook so they could eat as well. This was a bad idea, as it took a lot of time for mine to cook. There didn’t seem to be much of a kids menu, and my kids did not care for the main meal. Finally, desert came, and it was a blast! There were many sweet treats to choose from, and we enjoyed it. Overall, the fondue experience of both cheese and chocolate are wonderful and we expect to visit again for those, but we will likely skip on meal unless we request a 2 burner table. Quick note, the Strawberry Almond Salad was absolutely amazing, and that says a lot for me. Everyone finished their salad, which was more than a medium portion. Last few notes: midway, we asked for the drink menu from a man whom we believed to be the manager on floor, he said he would grab it but never returned. He passed us a few more times, but nothing. This was not a big deal to us. Additionally, I just reitterate that it may be common to space out the meals, however family was hungry and waiting seemed a little excessive, the resturaunt was not busy. The decor was peaceful, and bathrooms were maintained. Promise... I’m done now. Lol

We have been coming to the Melting pot for 2 years now and every experience has been great except for this one, it was horrible. The server took 15 minutes to bring our drinks out. And that was only the begining. He would come out multiple times to tend to other tables but wouldn’t bring out what we asked for whether it be extra sauce, or a refill. A family next to us showed up about 15 minutes after us and they were tended to faster than us. We also waited a long time for our dinner to be brought out while the waiter was tending to other tables instead of us. We finished our dinner well before that family and waited 30 minutes not only for our table to be cleared but for our fondue to be brought out. The family next to us was served dessert at the same time as us but we were done well before then. Not one server apologized for our wait or anything. On top of that they always overcharge me for my dinner. I order the vegetarian option and they always charge me $48.. the same price as the steak dinner, every single time I have dined here! I can’t help but think we were treated this way because we are a gay couple.

Overall good experience. I will say the hostess “greeter” had a very negative vibe. Not sure why when we walked in to give our name for reservation she seemed very bothered. I would imagine the hostess “greeter” should be a positive first impression but that was not the case. We quickly moved past it as our server was great!

Loved the food! Great atmosphere and presentation! Our server could of been better, she offered lots of good ideas for what we could try out! Unfortunately she kept forgetting to bring things out that she recommended and even forgot to give me a main course dish so I can enjoy my food when it was done cooking! Other then that? I’d said it was still worth the money for the experience!

My girlfriend and I overall enjoyed our dining experience. The service could have been improved by being a little quicker. And maybe a few more check ins. I feel if I’m dining out and I get to the point where I have to ask for my server, then that doesn’t call for an excellent rating. And I’m not the type of person that asks for my server often. I’m pretty easy going person. Especially for the money I spent, would have expected prestine to perfect service. This is a place where I can only afford to patronize maybe once a year.

We didn’t have the best experience, the cheese fondue (Wisconsin Trio) had such a strong Sherry flavor and smell - it wasn’t horrible, but would definitely not have it again.

Service was slow and confusing, we ordered the Artisanal Tray and The savory add ons, neither came out at the same time as their accompanying pot. We had to consistently ask for refills. Again wasn’t horrible, it was just confusing on how the meal played out.

We went for a late Valentine's date (we don't get kid-free very often, so we wanted to spoil ourselves).
It was so delicious, definitely way to expensive to be a frequent thing for us, but it was fun for thetime we were there!
Our waitress was gracious, as we asked a lot of dumb questions, but she was happy to answer and made small talk.

Dirty dishes, dirty tables. Very disappointed in the quality of food, service, and cleanliness of the restaurant. Overpriced for what it was. Will not be returning.

Arrived a few minutes early (25 to be exact) for my 8:30pm slot. Was not familiar with the area and when checking in I stood at the check in area for about 10 minutes before anyone even made eye contact with me or welcomed me. Then when asked if I had a reservation I said yes. The gal came over to computer didn't welcome me and just said "have a seat we will call you when it's closer to your reservation time" I asked about sitting in the bar until called on and she said "ya thats fine". Ordered two drinks, the bartenders kept their backs to me and my guest most of the time only asking 1x if my drink was satisfactory (could have been better). We were not seated on time in fact over 20 min late and then it seemed as if we were sat in the corner to be forgotten. We waited what seemed like an eternity for the waiter to come. Once he came and took our order, we both ordered drinks only one was brought and that took 38 min. The first of our food didn't arrive for another 28 min. Once it did I thought ah here we go this will all get going now. But again we were forgotten. The bread cubes were turning to croutons, all the ice in my water had melted completely. My guests drink had been empty for a very long time. Our salads arrived. They were a bit wilty, like they had been left out my guest sent their's back. We sat for yet another what seemed like eternity before the next course arrived. The people across from us were having the same experience. We even discussed it and were in shock at the amount of time it was taking. Was checked on once during our main course by a separate server. An extra dessert was brought out and a quick apology but after driving 4 hours and spending over $200 on a meal including drinks and tip I was not impressed. I made the best out of it since it was my guests first time there.

We come here 1-3 times per year. We absolutely love eating here. We came last week for my son's 20th birthday. His birthday is on Valentine's Day, but he wanted your normal menu, so we had to wait 2 extra days to go until you had your regular menu back. Food was good as usual. However, the service, which is normally a little slow, was frustratingly slow. Waiting in between courses is fine, because it leaves time for conversation. But waiting for a waiter while you're in the middle of a course and need more water or more veggies, etc., is not good. Actually, we even had to wait about 20 minutes during the entree course with the fondue pot boiling - evaporating the broth away, until they finally brought our chicken and vegetables. It was really frustrating - and there was no way to motion to the waiter because he was nowhere near. We will still eat here again, but we were slightly disappointed compared to our normal experience.

Outstanding food. Date night for Valentine’s Day, first time there. Don’t know if common or because the day it was a great touch for the GM to come by table and explain how the menu worked. For future special dinners will have to make a stop in.

Our reservation was for 815. We showed up at 813, then waited 10 minutes to be seated with no explanation. The bar area was closed. The restaurant was about 1/3 full.
Our server was nice, but clearly brand new and no one was supervising or training him. He struggled and I genuinely felt bad for him.
The pared down menu was a full 3 course dinner with an extra appetizer (snow crab legs) and salad.
We ordered a bottle of wine. The server brought out the bottle and just put it on the table. Still closed. No bottle opener. Tgen he walked off. He returned and started making the cheese fondue. We asked for a bottle opener and mentioned the snow crab legs.
He left and returned with the snow crab legs and no opener. Then walked away again. We stopped him and asked again for a bottle opener. He came back with an opener, then sheepishly looked at us and asked us how to use it. My girlfriend taught him how to open a wine bottle.
The cheese fondue was good, as were the dipping foods.
The waiter removed the cheese fondue and started making the dinner fondue. At which time we reminded him there was a salad course. So he left the fondue boiling at the table while we ate our salads.
During the main course, the restaurant had started to clear out, so the staff decided to vacuum the restaurant while we ate. My date and I had to practically yell at each other to have a conversation. Very romantic.
After vacuuming, the staff must have finished their evening routine, because for the rest of our meal we had to listen to all the revelry in the nearby kitchen. About 10 staff all started chatting loudly, laughing, and telling lewd jokes to each other. I was embarrassed for our waiter and the restaurant.
The bill was $225. For 2 dinners and a $30 bottle of wine. All in all, the food was ok, the ambiance was terrible and the service was awful. No where close to the value I'd expect for the price.
I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The menu is a little confusing because they have individual pricing and all inclusive prices. The waitress was really nice but it was her second day so she wasn’t smoothe and didn’t know the answers to our questions. I think it’s extremely overrated and over priced.

We had an early valentines date night and we had a great time. This is the 4 th state that we have had the melting pot and we were not disappointed. The wait staff was on top of everything and checked in regularly to see if needed anything. Our drinks never went empty and food was brought out right on time for the next course. I would recommend the 4 course experience and it was worth the money.

My husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary and we thought the melting pot would be special. It wasn’t our first time and we were disappointed. We had empty drinks our entire main course. Things felt rushed. The extra dessert we ordered we ended up getting the wrong one but never saw our server again to tell her. We waited a lot and it wasn’t worth it any more. I wish we went somewhere else that made our night special.

It was my first time in this restaurant and my birthday ! The server didn’t take time to explain how to order and other features of this place. We kinda figured the menu on our own. We didn’t know that we have to cook our own food and were never explained that. Food is overpriced, the place is very dark , not kids friendly.

I love the valet service. We did not have to wait at all for our reservation. I asked for a downstairs table as my father was recovering from surgery and that is what we received. We knew exactly what we wanted and gave our order. The cheddar cheese was WONDERFUL!! The MOJO with my Angus, Pork and Chicken and my Dad's choice of Shrimp, Pork and Chicken was devine. we had Turtle for dessert this time. We were so full we had to take half of it home! Love this place..

Other than finding hair in our food. It really wasn’t that bad. The waitress was very helpful. The portions weren’t worth the money.
