The Melting Pot - Savannah
I had not been to a Melting Pot since I was a little kid. This was a great re-experience. Service was amazing and the food was great.
Going to The Melting Pot Saturday on the 16th 2019 was a great experience for me and my wife. We truly enjoyed it had a great time. The waitress was phenomenal courteous polite informative and very knowledgeable of what she was speaking her name was Morgan and kudos to Morgan y'all have a great waitress on your staff you need more like her. Thanks a bunch for the great time and we will be back. Mitchell and Karen Owens
Excellent valentine lunch with our sweet granddaughter!!
My husband and I always love the Melting Pot. We recently visited to celebrate Valentine's Day and our Anniversary as well as his birthday. The customer service was great. Our drinks were always full and our waiter recommended great options. We even received 20% off our meal, which was a great surprise, just because we ate at the restaurant between 12-3 on a Saturday.
Morgan, our waitress, was wonderful! The food and drinks were delicious.
The quality of food... the service... the atmosphere were all wonderful. My only complaint was the noise level bc there were some very noisy and disrespectful teenagers in the room. That's no reflection on the restaurant or staff!
We had the best time tonight. We took our daughter with us this time. She loved it. Wish we would have sent on a night with the original menu though. Our witness was awesome, very helpful and friendly.
Once again eating cheese fondue and salad. Everything was prepared to perfection.
My family and I love the Melting Pot. The food is always great. The customer service is awesome.
The service was terrible. Asked for a glass of bourbon... received a beer. Didn’t get checked on for over 30 minutes. Took over 45 minutes to receive our food even though we cook it ourselves. The food was way over priced for the quantity/quality.
I took family for my daughters birthday. Food and service was both excellent. The table was ready right on time, and the staff served us the courses right to our readiness. Nothing was rushed at all. Had a great time.
Great food and great service. I always go to several restaurants during restaurant week, this was my 4 since it started on 25. I am very disappointed that some went to $40. We did not take part in restaurant week in yours and will not make it a priority when it comes around later this year.
I come here any chance I get, my fave dining experience! The service is always amazing and the food is always outstanding!
We went for brunch and they clearly aren’t ready to take on that that extra meal. It took several minutes of me wandering around an empty restaurant trying to find a worker to tell them that I had a reservation. Only because the phone rang was I able to locate the manager. The waitress and the manager appeared frequently confused. The food was okay but giving only one pot to use for cheese fondue for four people was unfortunate. Only two out of four of us had cheese because we wanted different flavors and weren’t allowed to have two different flavors. It simply wasn’t enough food for four. The place is clean and I’ve been here for dinner, which had went well. I’d give them a few weeks to a few months to figure out brunch if you want to try it. I’d recommend going for any other time outside of brunch.
My niece and I visit every year as our valentine night together and we have NEVER had a bad experience! Morgan was the absolute best and we plan to see you every year! Thanks for making our time together so very special!!
We had a birthday celebration and everything was great. Our server was Reece and he was excellent, he was there when we needed him but was not hovering. The cheese was good, I was disappointed that they did not have the Feista Cheese on the menu, but the Wisconsin we had had good. I had the Diablo Shrimp, it was good, but I think the Cajun Shrimp is better.
We will be back again. Cant wait to try new items that we were told would be coming soon !!
It was a good way to celebrate our 47th anniversary. A little pricey, though. Dinner for three was $200. Probably won't be back because of the price.
Service was awful. Food took forever to come. Seated at 5:30 and left restaurant at 8:45. Server was inattentive to needs. Other servers (who filled water) had no clue what was happening. Manager did give us a discount (said 20% - wasn't even close) and gave us a complementary chocolate to come back - we won't. Server spilled on my friend - only said sorry and walked away. Filet was incredibly fatty. Worst experience we have ever had - we go to Melting Pot often and this was the worst we have ever had - and still had to pay a lot of money for the meal. When we asked why no potatoes with the meal - we got squash - she said every restaurant is different. We have gone to Melting Pot in many states and we have always had potatoes. This was our server's excuse for anything we asked about. Definitely won't return to this location.
We are a military family who has eaten all over the country. Our daughter has celiac disease and it is extremely hard to find restaurants that offer variety with their gluten free options. Melting Pot had virtually everything gluten free to accommate her INCLUDING gluten free bread AND gfree brownies (that she declared the BEST EVER BROWNIES) to dip in chocolate fondue. She was SO happy and thrilled and said it was "the best birthday EVER." So often, she leaves restaurants slightly down as everyone else in the family raves about something that she couldn't have. Not here. Excellent effort to include the gluten free patrons... we will be using Melting Pot as our "go-to" for her special occasion choices from here on out. Well done, Melting Pot. Not one restaurant has come close to comparing with the immense gluten free options offered. THANK YOU from a mom and dad of one happy girl.
Had a wonderful time, very pleasant staff especially our server (unfortunately I do not recall her name, sorry).
Fun! We had an afternoon dessert break for 2 birthdays- 6 year old girl and her 34 year old aunt. All ages had fun service was great. Both birthday girls got a treat!
The restaurant was short staffed so dinner took much longer than usual.
The server did the best she could under the circumstances.
There was a long blonde hair in my salad, I could not eat it, I didn’t get another salad and nothing was substituted or credited to my bill. I didn’t say anything because we had already been there for 3 hours and I didn’t want to wait.
Beyond the hair in my food and the time due to your restaurant being short staffed. Everyone had a good time.
Sunday was my first time coming to the Melting Pot and it was absolutely amazing! Our server went above and beyond to make sure we knew all of the best options and took her time to explain everything and gave us tips!
Unfriendly, we had to wait standing up, got pushed around, floor dirty, no more clean glasses so guests became styrofoam cups on a Saturday evening. Table wasn’t ready at the time we made a reservation, So we left .
It was our first time at the melting pot and we had such an amazing experience! My husband and I enjoyed the quiet romantic feel and the food was delicious! We will definitely be returning!
I brought my family here while in town on vacation. The restaurant was very clean and cozy. I am a MP fan, so I knew what to expect and loved it. My only 2 gripes are 1) that throughout the last few years the price has gone up and portions down, which is ok as they used to give too much food. Now , I would say the opposite is true (slightly). 2) the sauces initially provided are tiny and enough for one guest. This is a sauce restaurant, so not having to ask for a refill is better than having to ask.
Overall a great dinner.
A great New Year's Eve.
We had an 8 pm reservation and were not seated until 8:20. We also did not get a cheese plate with our cheese fondue because our waitress said they were busy. I expected the food to be outstanding for how expensive it was, but it was just okay. My Cajun shrimp was way too seasoned, and the pasta that I ordered was kind of bland and tasteless. I LOVED my boyfriends food, he got pork and sausage and stuff. I would go back bc the cheese fondue was fun and the atmosphere is great for an intimate date, but I was kind of underwhelmed with the food.
The service was terrible, slow, and down right awful. Not just our table but even surrounding tables were irritated by the service and we had different servers. We sat with empty drinks for the majority of our meal. We were a party of 7 squished into a table meant for 6. Our busser was definitely intoxicated/ high and almost spilled dirty dishes and a drink on my son. The food is always great but service makes or breaks an experience and I was EXTREMELY disappointed! This was our 3rd time going to this location and after this last experience we will probably not return.
We had a wonderful time and the meal was really fun.
We were an hour late for our reservation as we were driving in from another state and had been caught in traffic. I called the restaurant on the way, and they were able to squeeze us in as soon as we got off the road.
The server was very attentive and humorous (even the trainee). The food was good and we enjoyed ourselves.
We had never been to the restaurant before and our server didn't help us understand the menu. The menu is a bit tricky and you can spend way more than what the food is worth. Our server would have had us spend $250 for a dinner for four! Thankfully we heard from a friend to share an entree, but the food portions are a bit small for that. I'd recommend doing this with a small group for dessert- that's all.
They had 2 servers and you would have never known. Awesome service!
Christmas Eve dinner - was not a good experience.
The pacing of the meal was incredibly slow, in that it took 3.5 hours for dinner, while management was blamed for low staffing. Our waiter (WH) told us one thing regarding pricing, charged us something totally different and then proceeded to crop an attitude when asked.
We are loyal customers to Melting Pot and this is NOT the type of service we are accustomed to at our local Melting Pot.
We decided to try the Savannah restaurant to continue with our Christmas tradition and were very disappointed; we’ll not be returning back to this location.
Perfect as always!
It was great
Went to the Melting Pot for my fiancé’s birthday and had a great time. So much that he told me to write a “10 star” review. It was modern, romantic, interactive and fun! Our server, Kat was knowledgeable and kind. The food was delicious! Would definitely recommend for a wonderful couples night out. We will be back!
Seems like portions sizes are getting smaller & smaller. First melting pot I’ve been to that doesn’t give you more dippers for your chocolate portion. They did accommodate when we asked but said they could only do one w/o an up charge. We’ve been to melting pots all over and were always asked if we needed more dippers for both cheese & dessert parts. Maybe it’s a new thing?
We had no idea what to expect as we were first timers to The Melting Pot. The service was great but the waitress did not do a good job in explaining what the restaurant was known for or how the food is delivered and cooked. Initially we asked how large the portions were. We were told they are about 3-4 pieces each, which didn't make any sense. So we ordered 1 style mixed with beef and chicken. The meat was delivered to our table raw, the pot was setup with the base and set to boil, and we were instructed to cook the meat to our liking with a suggested time. That's it. I'm sorry but why is the food so expensive if we do the cooking? I'm not a cook, by no way do I classify myself a cook especially compared to a restaurant that's supposedly ranked high. Our food did not taste good. We cooked it to the suggested time, came out tasting like something from a can or pre-made frozen package found in the frozen foods isle. So we thought that it couldn't be this way, and ordered 2 more plates of various seafood and other meats. Turned out to be the same. Finished it with dessert plate. At least the dessert was good. The cheese and dessert were okay but definitely not the main entrees as they were a complete waste of money. Shouldn't be so expensive of we do the cooking ourselves and we get so little. Won't be going back again.
