The service was reflective of Savannah- quirky, somewhat erratic but well meaning. Unfortunately it fell short in professionalism and efficiency. It seemed most of the wait staff were students so the service lacked the polish that you would expect from an upscale restaurant. I have eaten at several Melting Pots across the country and love their food but I'll probably skip this restaurant next time in Savannah.

This is my all time favorite restaurant. I have been here for dates, birthdays, friend get togethers, and anniversaries. The staff is always friendly and the food is amazing. Don’t forget to sign up for their fondue club. I highly recommend getting a reservation.

Great way to get to know my future mother in law in a nice quiet setting but yet was entertaining enough for awkward situations where there was not much else to talk about

I will say that our experience this not is not what we usually expect or receive from this location. We arrived a little early and decided to get a glass of wine at the bar and we decided to buy a bottle. As soon as our glasses were poured we were seated, it then took over 30 minutes for our bottle to make it from the bar to our table during which time we were able to finish the first course of our meal. Each course took unreasonably long to arrive and therefore we spent a lot of time waiting. From start to finish we spent 2 hours at the restaurant. I don’t normally track how long we are somewhere but when the hostess is constantly coming to check on your table to see if you are still there it makes you take note. He must have checked our table 6 times. We were originally going to get the cheesecake dessert but after hearing another guest complain about the fresh fruit and something else missing we decided not too. We also heard the waitress tell them that they didn’t have any of those items left and when the customer asked why they were not made aware the waitress had no response and left to get the manager. After waiting over 5 minutes for a manager that couple left. As previously stated this is not normal and we would have attributed it to a busy night but the restaurant was less than half full. I don’t know if it was just an off night but it was an overall horrible way to end the day of our 13 year anniversary.

From the front of the house to management, customer service was outstanding. Seth and Monai were our servers. Great personalities, people friendly. Atmosphere was was perfect for a nice night out from the stress of whatever.

Well versed on the menu. Quality of the food was top rated. The idea seems like you will be hungry when you leave, but not true. By the time we got to the dessert, we were about to pop.

This is not just a tourist spot, they appreciate localsas well. The manager, Jeff was great. He completed many of the paintings.

We have addressed The Melting Pot to our list of favorite places for dinner, desserts and drinks.

From the time we arrived till the time we left it was an amazing experience with customer service, food, atmosphere. It’s very private so if you’re trying to go on a one on one date this is perfect! Will was our server and we’ve never been before, he walked us through every step. The food was outstanding! We chose to do the 4-course meal. We had more than enough food and their house dressing was amazing! Every meal was so flavorful and we did not have one disappointment!

We decided to try something new for our anniversary date night. It was outstanding. We sat at this 2 seated booth couples table with privacy. The server was knowledgeable and had a great attitude. Spinach artichoke cheese, mojo with salmon, and milk chocolate were amazing!! You must give it a try!!!

This location was horribly sub-par compared to the many Melting Pots we have visited. Normally Melting Pot handles gluten allergies very well and the staff here (not the waiter, but front of house and manager) made us feel like a complete inconvenience! The restaurant was not busy at all yet they didn't want to accommodate us at a 2 burner table. We were told we could have a 2 burner after asking the manager but they restricted us on being able to order separate cheeses and chocolate which meant my husband had to have those gluten free which he would not have preferred. For us price is not an issue if we needed to pay more but we were told out right that was the only way they would seat us at a 2 burner.
The waiter was polite.
The food also seemed not as tasty or as fresh as what we are accustomed to. The chicken was sliced in a messy fashion. My husband's bread was hard. The only veggies we were given with our entrees were broccoli and mushrooms, we were not offered any refills. No potato at this location, I guess cost cutting? My gluten free bread that came for the cheese was a microwaved plastic bagged udis roll. They didnt bother to remove it which I understand could be a contamination issue. But it was gross, hard on one side and soggy on the other from the microwave. AWFUL! Poor GF options for the chocolate too. Pass this one by. They do not enforce the Melting Pot chain standards you expect.

We were kind of annoyed because we made a reservation a day before - we even arrived 10-15 min early before our reservation and the host told us they are "running behind", so we ended up having to wait about 25-30 minutes even with a reservation and there were only about 5 tables if that in the entire restaurant that were taken. Hire more servers!!!! We ended up having to stay until almost 10pm and our reservation was for 7:30....

Our waiter, William, told us he had been working at the restaurant for two weeks. He seemed like an old pro with his menu knowledge and ability to guide us through our first visit at The Melting Pot. My Fiancé and I decided to do the four course meal with three meats. It was wonderful and we left feeling incredibly full. It’s a bit pricey, but the experience is worth it.
