Great atmosphere! Great service!! Food was amazing!
The food was average. The cheese fondue was good, and the chocolate fondue was very good, but the entrees were not up to the standards that we have observed at other Melting Pot locations in other cities. The meat and salads did not seem to be very fresh and tasty. The service was attentive and good.
Waiter was very inattentive. Took our order without writing anything down, great if you're a good waiter, he forget half of what we said and had to come back and ask us for the order again. After the main entree was cleaned up it took 33 minutes before dessert was brought to the table.
It was hard to hear the waiter's explanation of the dishes and instructions on how to make the food and what the sauces were. We had to have him repeat it several times. We liked that there were vegan options for the cheese and chocolate. Nice!
It was lovely.
The service level at this Melting Pot has gone down significantly post pandemic. They used to hire tenured and seasoned servers. But our server on this special occasion for my daughter‘s ninth birthday had just transitioned from being a cook to being a server. He was tremendously horrible. The cheese fondue was runny and terrible. We were overcharged. He made no conversation. Looked unprepared and created an awkward and uncomfortable atmosphere. The manager came around and was disinterested in our feedback. We were charged over $200 and only did the cheese and dessert fondue. I will never return to this Melting Pot. Recommend others avoid as well.
Excellent waitstaff, yummy food! A little pricey, but because they have such good service & 4 course fondue is rare in Minnesota, I’m okay with it.
Great as always. This location is perfect and easy to get in/out of.
Great dining experience. Good food and great service. Nice family dinner
Frustrated to be seated in a back booth when specifically requested preferred location for special event. Very frustrated even after requesting better seating. Also stuck next to noisy group and left early.
We had the best server I have had in my life! Will be back!
Service and food were amazing! Fun atmosphere! We will definitely return.
Great food and great service! Absolutely loved it!
As always, the food and the experience was delightful. As we love having a taste of everything, we usually opt for the "Big Night Out' selection. Although, att $150.00 for two with only 1 glass of wine, it is a bit steep on the budget. We'd come more often, if it wasn't quite so expensive.
More than once, we've ended up taking some home with us.
Perhaps a less expensive option, with the variety intact, but the quantity reduced, would be an option?
Our server, Henry was phenomenal!!
Food was delicious as always...you never leave hungry that's for sure
It’s okay, the service was not
The service was pretty good and we enjoyed our food. The Wisconsin Trio had waaaaaaay too much white wine in it, but it still tasted pretty good. The dark chocolate pure fondue was divine.
The Melting Pot concept certainly feels fun and festive. And it was, for the most part. Also felt rushed, formulaic, and less special or unique than I'd hoped for for our really important little celebration. The booth was so tiny and dark. Glad to have tried it, but don't need to head back anytime soon.
Excellent service. Portions seemed a bit small for the price but very delicious. Warm welcome for my son's celebration of his ACT score - thank you!
It was me and my husband first time coming to the melting pot it was great next time we come i hope to get one with a curtain but it was nice
Great experience dining at The Melting Pot! Service, food, and environment were excellent. Highly recommend!
The bounded meal was great! The spinach artichoke cheese dip was surprisingly delicious, the coq au vin seasoned the meat and vegetables well, and Oreo chocolate dip ended the meal perfectly. This was the second time eating here this month and it hit the spot both times. We will be back.
It’s a good experience and fun to share with other couples.
The turtle dessert is to die for!
The food was very good flavor-wise but the texture of boiled steak is definitely different then grilled, it almost tastes rubbery, even medium rare.
Great place to make a night out...takes a good couple hours if you do all the courses. Food and presentation is wonderful, enjoyable, unique experience all the way around.
You do cook your own food, 1 bite at a time!!!
Drinks and food were fantastic. Seems expensive but that is because 3 courses takes a couple hours to get through. The service was personable and outstanding. I highly recommend to all who like fondue or want to just give it a try. Super fun experience.
Went during restaurant week. Great deal and delicious meal.
We went during Restaurant Week since this is one of our family favorites but oh so pricey. The limited menu was still delicious!
We had the big dinner for two plus (includes 4 pieces of lobster to share). Considering how much lobster generally costs, this was acceptable for a $10 upcharge, and it did taste great, even though there wasn't much lobster. Salads were at room temperature, I should have sent mine back, but I ate it. Otherwise, everything was good. We were certainly full enough of good stuff by the end of the meal - at about 2.5 hrs! There were 4 of us, and we had two hot plates. One was vegan, so they got the Court Boullion. We got the cast iron pan, which gave the protein good flavor! The small containers of sauces are a pain, but the server gave us more of whatever we'd wanted. Our fellow diners have gone often, we have just gone a couple of times, with the same people. With a few Ying Yang Martinis, and four courses, each couple paid $167 before the tip. We will go again when we want to splurge.
Henry was our server. He made the dining experience fun and entertaining. I will visit again. Thank you
The staff and kwner were amazing. Added value to the experience
The service we received was not good. Waiter would go away and we wouldn't see him for long periods of time and it was not that busy as mid afternoon. Never refreshed the beverages we purchased, left our dirty dishes on our table. I couldn't cut through a piece of steak as it had large tendon. Ick
The Melting Pot put on a complete SHOW for us! Staff was very friendly, our waiter knew the menu and gave great suggestions. Cooking food at our table was differently different but an enjoyable experience none the less. A must do Restaurant Week
Great experience for my daughters 16th birthday! Everyone was so wonderful and you even put us in our own private room. We love going to this Melting Pot!
Hostess and Manager EXTREMELY rude! After we were accosted upon entering, as we left, the same manager was at the bar pointing her finger in a customers face saying "if you don't like it you can go somewhere else!" UNBELIEVABLE! We have not experienced an in your face angry manager anywhere before, but extra surprised that it happened at a place we would have considered somewhat "fancy." The only two things that make this restaurant "fancy" is how much you pay for your meal and the fact that it is a different experience than a "typical" restaurant. We were packed into a booth that every time someone walked by they brushed up against you. Waiter was terrific, food was fine, but not worth the price tag. The bathroom was out of soap. Our bill for 2 people was $126, I can name 100+ restaurants that have better food, a more desirable experience and a cheaper price tag. We will NEVER go back...not even if it was free!
Poor food for the price and floors were extremely sticky.
We had a great meal with great service! Thank you for an awesome experience.
