Mommy daughter date!
It was great!!
They never acknowledged Our Anniversary which was referenced in our reservation. They were more concerned if we had ever dined there before as three different people asked us that question.
The service was A+. Our waiter, Ian, was fantastic making sure everything was satisfactory throughout our dinner and ensuring our experience was nothing short of amazing. The food was absolutely top notch. The experience is not cheap but the price matches the quality and service and, in my opinion, is well worth it.
We enjoy coming here. The food is very good. The drinks at the bar were better than the same drinks at the table, which does give me pause. For example the Modern Old Fashioned at the bar was amazing. That same drink ordered at the table was of much lesser quality.
I also saw there was a promotion going on for endless cheese. This was not discussed with us or we would have bought up. BUT, the staff was super busy. So no harm done. For as busy as they were, our service was good.
It was our daughter’s birthday and we had a party of five. We have dined here many times as a party of four, and we’re disappointed that although we paid for 5 people, we were served for four through the entire meal except for the salad that we each got. It was very disappointing!
Day date with my son. And it took 3 hours! Our server was quite nice, but very loud and overboard and left us for far too long between switching pots. My 6 yo enjoyed it for sure as did I, but 3 hours was way too long.
Host And Server could have been more enthusiastic.
Our first time visiting after years of hearing good things about the establishment. We will be back! Especially to get our dessert. We didn’t realize how long it would take to get through 4 courses so we took a rain check on the dessert. Which was completely fine because we were so full! The food was amazing. We chose the fiesta cheese fondu with the mojo broth for the meat. Cook the chicken first, then the steak, then the seafood. That way the rest of the meat doesn’t taste like the seafood. Even the salad was delicious. Our server was knowledgeable and on top of almost everything, with the exception of one small miscommunication- they were out of the wild mushroom pasta and substituted squash ravioli. It was very good regardless! Can’t wait to go again!
Daughter turned 18
Wonderful dining experience! Highly recommend, especially for special occasions!
Over the past 7 years, we've been here 4 times and have always enjoyed it. The last time we were here was at least 3 years ago and we were unfamiliar with how the 4-course meal worked. Last night, our waiter had little to no insight when we asked questions and the volume of his voice was so low that I couldn't hear him when he spoke. We learned a tremendous amount of information when we listed to the waiter who was serving a row over from us.
I don't enjoy spending almost $400 for poor service but because I'm sympathetic to everyone in the restaurant industry, I still tipped him very well. I hope he doesn't think he did a great job because it was from from enjoyable. Because my meter was up, I had to leave the restaurant before I could pull this person aside to share with him that he should mimic the other waiter.
Celebrating 2 birthdays, a 21st and 22nd. Everything was great. Great service by Tyler!
It’s just good for a group dinner and enjoy the art of fondue. Cheese fondue was great but the entree and the dessert are mediocre. For the price you’d expect big red strawberries and more bananas and pineapple. Instead you get tiny slices. We did ask for more but it was still disappointing. They did up the prices and now it’s not even worth going back for regular dining. Maybe if you wanna impress a friend visiting or special occasions.
Always so great for special dinners with our family. Excellent food and service. One of our favorite places to go.
We had our own booth with a curtain. Nice and private. Shut out some of the noise.
Wonderful server. Gave us an amazing wine suggestion. The food was amazing!
Fun atmosphere and dining experience. Great for couples or groups.
We had an excellent dining experience! The food was delicious, and Connor was an outstanding server! He was so polite, professional, kind and hard working! Connor definitely made the dining experience so positive and memorable!
Our waiter was obnoxious and and detracted from the evening. We’ve been to the Melting Pot in several other cities and loved it. This one doesn’t come close. It was a disappointing evening.
Servers are always so kind and helpful. The host is awesome as well.
It was really fun
Fun date night. Helpful and friendly server. Will be back.
We were bummed the cheese fondue was taken off the restaurant week menu but it didn’t stop us from ordering our favorites and a yummy cheese! This is one of my favorite places for a special occasion treat and everything was delicious. Our waiter did a great job helping us navigate through everything and the service was awesome! I can’t wait to go back again!!
Great service! Food is always amazing and an overall great experience going.
Great food, great server, perfect noise level. I enjoyed this so much! It is in a great spot downtown. Got a very nice outlook of the city.
Food was good but there was such a focus on rushing through the courses that it lost the Romance. We ordered the wine pairing but the food was coming so fast that the wine was coming at the end of the courses instead of the start.
This is an awesome place to celebrate any special occasion. They have have rooms for large groups too. it is a very fun and engaging dining experience unlike any other.
Our waitress explained the menu choices clearly and steered us to tasty choices and the most economic way to order.
Great atmosphere! Great service!! Food was amazing!
The food was average. The cheese fondue was good, and the chocolate fondue was very good, but the entrees were not up to the standards that we have observed at other Melting Pot locations in other cities. The meat and salads did not seem to be very fresh and tasty. The service was attentive and good.
Waiter was very inattentive. Took our order without writing anything down, great if you're a good waiter, he forget half of what we said and had to come back and ask us for the order again. After the main entree was cleaned up it took 33 minutes before dessert was brought to the table.
It was hard to hear the waiter's explanation of the dishes and instructions on how to make the food and what the sauces were. We had to have him repeat it several times. We liked that there were vegan options for the cheese and chocolate. Nice!
It was lovely.
The service level at this Melting Pot has gone down significantly post pandemic. They used to hire tenured and seasoned servers. But our server on this special occasion for my daughter‘s ninth birthday had just transitioned from being a cook to being a server. He was tremendously horrible. The cheese fondue was runny and terrible. We were overcharged. He made no conversation. Looked unprepared and created an awkward and uncomfortable atmosphere. The manager came around and was disinterested in our feedback. We were charged over $200 and only did the cheese and dessert fondue. I will never return to this Melting Pot. Recommend others avoid as well.
Excellent waitstaff, yummy food! A little pricey, but because they have such good service & 4 course fondue is rare in Minnesota, I’m okay with it.
Great as always. This location is perfect and easy to get in/out of.
Great dining experience. Good food and great service. Nice family dinner
Frustrated to be seated in a back booth when specifically requested preferred location for special event. Very frustrated even after requesting better seating. Also stuck next to noisy group and left early.
