The food was terrific as always, but the service by Victoria was exceptional and made our night!
Server seemed over sat. Food was ok. Some of the options on the menu were gone. Portions seemed smaller then last time we were there but price was the same.
We had a wonderful experience celebrating my wife’s birthday and they even brought out a special plate with Happy Birthday on it.
Great place and food
Celebrated son's 30th birthday. Staff made him feel special and we had a blast. Stayed there for 3 hours loved it. Great food, Great wine, FUN to fondue!
Generally pleasant experience with seemingly attentive waitress, (Corey?). A few things that could be improved are accuracy and follow through. We had to ask three separate times for salt and pepper and then two different times for additional teriyaki sauce. Eventually they were delivered, but not before there was an extended wait. The entire family was utilizing the teriyaki sauce and by the time they finally brought out additional, all but one person had completely finished their meal. For the amount you pay for this restaurant, you would expect the customer service experience to be significantly better.
I made reservations for 4 for 6:30 however we arrived early and were told we could be seated right away however we were not told that we would be seated at a smaller table with one burner. With four of us, it was very crowded and it did not allow us to pick a variety. In addition the restaurant was not very clean. The floors were dirty under the table and the bathrooms were filthy.
Great food but the portions are very small for the price.
Hannah made our first experience at Melting Pot a resounding success! Food was great and service was exceptional. We look forward to coming back!
Amazing experience, no issues!
It was Valentine’s Day. They had a set menu to choose from ranging from $80-90 per person. It came with a baby bottle of champagne, 6 chocolate covered strawberries, bruschetta, cheese fondue, salads, meat fondue, & dessert fondue. It was very tasty just cost more then expected.
vegetables and fruit were not as fresh as it could have been. Multiple customers were walking around without masks on.
As long as you view your visit as an experience, given its non traditional approach (fondue / cook your own food). You won’t be disappointed. It is pricey, but fun!
We had an absolutely wonderful experience. It was our kids first time and they loved it!
Food was great, waiter was excellent very nice ambiance
It was our first time at a MP and was a great experience!
We had a very enjoyable experience.
Service, drinks, food, atmosphere...OUTSTANDING!!!
Looking forward to our next dining experience!
We had a great birthday dinner for my daughter at The Melting Pot. The staff was excellent. Since there were 4 of us we had 2 cooking styles so we tried the table top grill, basically it's a cast iron grill pan. Everyone enjoyed being able to switch between the traditional fondue pot and the grill.
We went expecting a wonderful experience, did the thrusdate thing which was cute and set up nice. It started out good. We had a cheese fondu and then we were brought out our entre which was okay we just felt very rushed. Our waiter barley came the manager had to get us drinks and refills. Then we ordered a chocolate fondu and it was an hour before close and without even asking the server boxed it up so we didn’t even get to do the chocolate fondu we have to take it home and microwave it... totally ruined the best part. I was very upset and the manager came to ask how it was and if we got chocolate and we said yeah but the server boxed it up we didn’t even get to do it. And he looked confused. I paid for the whole thing to not even get to do the chocolate fondu and the hostess said it was because they were closing soon.. but the couple behind us sat down 30 min before close and ordered chocolate and that was it and ours was already boxed.. I was confused as why we had to take ours to go before the other people even got there... kinda disappointed and probably won’t go back.
Everything was great! Bri made my birthday celebration amazing!
Service and food were great. Always a fun experience.
We arrived for our reservation and there was a sign on the door that said "Temporarily Closed"... so, we ended up with nowhere to celebrate our anniversary. There is absolutely ZERO EXCUSE as to why we did not receive notification that the restaurant closed. Instead of celebrating our special occasion we spent the evening calling around and driving around attempting to get a table ANYWHERE, and ended up with a mediocre meal at the Olive Garden. Thanks for ruining our evening.
People behind us were grilling and it was EXTREMELY smokey. The smoke bothered all of us at our table. This is a fondue restaurant.
First time here and it was amazing!! Food and service was perfect.
We celebrated a birthday-we had a great time!
We waited 15-20 minutes at our table before anyone greeted us. Once we received our food, we enjoyed it as always. We got the flaming turtle chocolate and they did not flambé it like they usually do. Just disappointed we had to wait so long and the chocolate situation
Quality of food was not worth the price.
I love this place for a special meal. Been going to MPots for over 15 years. Went 2 weeks ago and my server was phenomenal. I went this weekend and had a MISERABLE time. My server was uneducated to the food and cooking styles, and argued with me about it! She was incorrect, and had the nerve to argue with me about. The customer who has been coming since before she was likely born. I spoke with the assistant manager who wandered by, and let him know what happened. He has no urgency to correct the situation with her unprofessionalism. So he did not resolve it, and then Korie ghosted me the rest of my meal. No refills on a drink, only 1 checkback during the meal, attitude all the time. I can go to McDonald's and get this type of service for a hell of a lot less money! I let the assistant Mgr know of the rest of the meals' lack of service, and also that the new waitress behind me didn't know the menu and described the styles as "some other type of broth". (Cuz it's not written on the menu or anything). So a few of the staff here need to be replaced! My meal 2 weeks ago left me rushing to get back. After this evening, I don't care to ever go back. And the asst Mgr did nothing to remedy the problems after it was brought to his attention twice. So if you go here, you will have a great meal of excellent food, but ask not to be seated with Korie.
I don’t mind spending money on a great dinner, but this place is overpriced. The server forgot to take our drink order, then she took food orders for only half our table, and then she forgot to bring our second round of drinks. She was very friendly but not the best server. The atmosphere is dated. Our table and utensils did not feel very clean. The cheese and chocolate fondues were delicious, however. Our bill was $225 for four people — one was a child, and another only had a salad. Ridiculous.
wonderful food and worth every penny!
Amazing experience every time I come here. Welcoming and helpful staff, great ambiance, and high quality food.
Fun for family gathering. Social distancing was no problem.
I would go on a weekday. We waited an awful long time for our waitress to come and go.
Overall I would say our experience was good but not great. The table was not very clean as there was a lot of grease around the burner. Our waitress was very friendly but the service was very slow. We ordered cocktails right away and we did not get them till our first course was served. It also seems as though portions were very small for the price. The vegetables that were served with the entrée fondue course looked old and were very sparse. I have been to the melting pot in Pittsburgh and it seems much better than this one.
This used to be one of our go-to’s for a special night out. It has really gone downhill over the past few years. The produce quality is poor (brown lettuce in the salads, spongy soft carrots, old overripe strawberries). The cheese is no longer prepared at the table. The wine flight was not matched to the courses, one was missed, so two of the dessert wines were offered. Portions are small for the price, but it used to be worth it for the dining experience. This was our last visit.
Melting pot is just fun. Skip the entree phase. Go for cheese fondue and dessert and spend the entree money on drinks
We love coming here! But this time around was little underwhelming. A little dirty table and silverware. Busy service but understandable in today’s environment.
Always a great experience. The portion sizes seem to be getting smaller and smaller each time we go there. The quality was great as always.
