We felt very rushed by the waitress at the beginning when we were trying to figure out what we wanted to get. My fiancé had never been there and we needed time to look over the menu. The bartender seemed upset with some of the staff and said it loud enough for us to hear. The food was delicious and the servers were very kind to us.
Four people in one pot was a little tight. Good thing we were not all just meeting for the first time.
We had a wonderful time. Kyle was a great server and was attentive. We had a few issues with a burner, but they did the best to make it work. Love it.
Probably the worst dining experience we have ever had. Been to this location many times. This was probably our last. Didn't see a server for 45 minutes. Only saw our server 3 or 4 times. If anyone ever asked if we needed anything they never brought it. We were simply forgotten by everyone we came into contact that worked there that night.
Very slow. No service. Had to ask for water to be filled
Melting Pot is our favorite date night. We hadn’t been out since October, and now that my wife is vaccinated, we decided to venture out. I requested a private booth as we got a babysitter, excited for our first night out in a long time just the two of us. We dressed up, ready for a romantic date night. We were super disappointed to be seated in the middle section with the largest amount of people (big groups, children, etc.). We had requested a private booth not just for the romance, but for the safety concern too. I know there are just a couple very private booths, but there are several booths made for date nights, semi private (the ones you cuddle up together). After our disappointment of our table and noise level, I became disappointed in the quality of food. My favorite salad no longer had crutons, all of our pieces of filet were chewy and fatty (every other time they are melt in your mouth delicious). It just seemed like some of the magic was no longer there. Also, I have noticed that when we are seated in this middle section the servers rush you more. We have been at a more private booth and stretched dinner to a wonderful 3 hours. Seated in the middle, we were rushed to a 1.5 hour dinner. We come to Melting Pot for that long, relaxed dinner. Walking out, we saw some of the other couples sitting in the more private booths. Some just wearing sweats or jeans. It was disappointing (maybe we weren’t recognized as a couple bc we are same sex...) We will probably try something else for our next romantic night out.
Our waitress excellent !!! I wrote a $20 tip on the receipt but it never showed up on my bank statement. How do I rectify this ? her name is Ciera T. Please have the manager call me. 3177530661. Charles Jackson
It was for my wife’s birthday. She enjoyed it and was super happy so that makes me happy.
Wonderful service!! The amount of food per price is low, but you are paying for the experience. We will probably only go there for the dessert menu after this.
great experience and great meal. Kyle, out server was excellent. thank you!
The service was awful, especially considering the cost of our meal, & we were there for a special occasion. Our waitress “disappeared” multiple times, for 30 minute periods, when we were waiting for drinks, to place our order, or to bring the next course. She was not apologetic, & didn’t seem to care.
There was a lot of drama between the wait staff in the bar area, which is where our booth was - I don’t want to listen to complaining & bickering while I’m trying to enjoy a romantic dinner with my husband.
My husband went to use the men’s room, apparently, it had flooded multiple times that week.
The cheese the other courses were just “ok.”
Good service! Food was good and priced well. Dinner for two expect to spend at least $150 if your drinking.
Great spot for an anniversary dinner!
Great place for a quiet meal with your favorite person!
Service wasn't the best but she was nice & friendly.
Valentine’s Day ♥️
It was a very rushed experience. They were very booked because of Valentine's Day weekend, but we wanted to take our time. My drink order was never taken and everything was explained so fast it was a guessing game at times. We've been to this location twice and this is the second time we haven't had that 4 or 5 star experience, so it will be our last. Our daughter enjoyed it (she's four), but that was about it.
Birthday/Valentine day the service w discouraging the menu wasn’t friendly and yet confusing the hostess was nice afterwards but not upon arrival. I ordered lobster tail that never showed and until I mentioned it the server was like “oh, I seen you was almost done and took it off bill” should you have asks me first. The cooking times wasn’t accurate I even asks for my burner to be turned up higher she indicated only 3 settings. I don’t recomm entree as it’s to long and discouraging to boil your meats no taste and u get of plates that make no sense the server NVR returned appropriately until time to pay than again bill was hard to read. She didn’t want to make time to discuss options. Will not return
I have had hit and miss service experiences here. I love the melting pot, the overall cooking experience, and the food, but the service last night was just okay. Our waiter was training someone very new and left them by themselves a lot with us. They had no idea wha they were doing which impacted our meal and experience. I can appreciate training someone but for a 150 dollar meal for two the service needed to be better. On top of that the trainer seemed over it and frustrated which added to the situation. It felt like we needed to get out of their hair. Again for a 150 dollar meal I shouldn’t feel like this.
Terrific food and service
Bre was our waitress and she was awesome. Wonderful personality and top level professionalism.
Attentiveness was not there. There was not a hostess to greet or check people in when we entered into the restaurant. More and more people proceeded to enter and crowd the small entrance. Once we were finally seated it would take longer than normal for our waitress to come by our table. Not the best experience this time around and I go at the same time every year
As always a great time
A-one was AMAZING and we enjoyed our experience even more with such a great server!
Nice date evening.
Was there in first open9 and got a back booth. Quiet.
Our waiter A1 was AWESOME! It was a very busy night with Devour but he made us feel cared for and allowed us to take our time with the dining experience. Great job!
Went as a mother-daughter dinner to support Devour Indy. We had a new server who was still finding her rhythm but she was friendly and we weren’t in a hurry.
It was delicious! My 2 girls first tim having fondue, and they loved it!
I think it was overrated and very costly and the fact that they would not give me a refill on the berry lemonade was not customer service they told me I had to get register lemonade I couldn’t get a refill after the first drinks only regular lemonade. I will never ever go back here
Have a fantastic night there. Took friends who had never been before. Lots of fun, food was great and the staff was wonderful!!
Service is slow and food was average. I didn’t expected to be there for almost 3 hours
This was our first time at The Melting Pot. We had a wonderful dinner and it was a great experience. We will definitely be back!
Great waiter , great experience
Our server was new & she was excellent! Keep up the great service!
Food was very good. Loved the privacy in our booth. Service was much slower than usual. We have dined here before but it seemed too slow.
One pot for 4 people (requested 2)
We felt almost rushed
Maybe because we sat at the busiest intersection of the restaurant. Interrupting wait staff with near miss crashes.
Way over priced (280)
Better luck next time if there is a next time.
To many better options out there for that kind of cash.
Our waitress was good, but spread to thin to show her real hospitality that we only caught quick glances of because she was constantly off to another table. She still got 20%.
Only because my wife waited tables and said it’s not her fault (totally).
Fool me once...you know the rest
We had the worst service we’ve ever experienced at a Melting Pot... our server was less than helpful when we ordered and had zero personality. The bar was out of liquor for three different drinks we ordered. The only saving grace was that the food was good and our buzzer, Hunter, was outstanding and super helpful.
