Our larger spaces are located in the upstairs portion of our restaurant, and our Wine Room is located on the main floor.

    Enjoyed dining outside balcony. The burrata caprese was amazing. The gnocchi bolognese was less appealing- pasty, heavy and very little meat in the sauce. The Local has always been a favorite and the gnocchi just missed the mark this time. Will definitely be back though.

    Wonderful truly “local” restaurant in Belmont neighborhood. Lovely old building with brick walls and original hardwood floors. Tables are nicely spaced and staff is very attentive. Food was delicious and a great value. The cobbler for dessert was a hit!

    As always, we enjoyed the dining experience at the Local. It is a rare combination of personable service and great meal options. Thank you Local staff and management. It’s great to dine with friends!

    Food was very good as was the service. The one disappointment with a 6:30 reservation they had already run out of the trout dish that two people wanted to order and the substitute salmon dish was too spicy for the customer. The rockfish was excellent.

    The Nori wrapped crispy rockfish was delicious and a generous portion. The only negative to the dish is that the baby bok choy was to tough it was not edible. The Gnocchi Bolognese was delicious and a generous portion. The mixed berry cobbler was a yummy end to the dinner and big enough for my husband and I to share. I loved the Hinton cocktail. Service was very good.
