Fried Goat Cheese
Calasparra Rice, Green Beans, Grilled Chicken, Chorizo, Piquillo Peppers
This place was great! I was extremely impressed!
There could be a better gin selection and some gin cocktails on the menu.
Everything was wonderful, as always. Our server, Sam, took great care of us and the ambience of the patio can’t be beat!
Great evening atmosphere was really nice and service food was very good
Spectacular view! The food was ok. I have ordered the “duck, duck, goat” flat bread last year and it was AMAZING. I think they forgot the goat cheese on it this year. It was ok not impressive at all. My son had the ravioli, it was good but pricey for that it was. My husband’s paella was VERY SALTY.
Actually, I would have give n 4 1/2 stars if possible. This experience was not
"absolutely the best," but very close. I have no suggestions for improvement, but is only the second best dining experience I have had five years ago.. That is not a negative comment. I have no suggestion for improvement/ I will definitely return, and bring my friends, when possible.
Food, ambiance, value, etc.; all was wonderful. But the best part of the experience was the service. I forgot her name, but our server was outstanding.
Make it a must
The food was quite good and the server just as nice as could be. The reason for 3 stars is that we had a 12:45 lunch reservation and weren’t seated until 1:00. The waitress was way too overworked! We got our sandwiches at 1:40. We will try this restaurant again, but hope to never wait an hour past our reservation time to get our food
Service was good! The food was just okay and was a little salty
Always a great experience at the lazy goat. The food is terrific, and the service is quite good. Indoors, the noise level might be just a bit louder than I would want, but it’s still comfortable to have conversation at the table! Great restaurant! Always a treat!
Amazing server and overall experience. I will come back!!
It took 20mins to get a glass of wine, appetizers came out way before we had our drinks. I ask for my seared salmon to be medium , it was so over cooked it tasted like wood . The side dish with rice and broccolini was so over salted, I couldn’t eat it. Not a fan of this place.
Birthday lunch - excellent food and view
Excellent pasta dishes!
As always, the Goat delivered. We ate outside before the Chicago concert. Beautiful weather and ambiance. A light meal with wine, but the Duck, Duck, Goat pizza was the star. Thanks to the staff who checked Open Table to see that my birthday was coming up, nice after dinner treat.
Excellent experience in every way. Service was great (perfectly-paced), and the food was all creative and delicious. We asked to be seated outside so we could hear each other (two diners with hearing challenges) and were accommodated. It was a great way to show off Greenville to guests from Charleston (not that anyone is competing!!)
The Lazy Goat has been my favorite place to have dinner at since I moved to Greenville. The food is amazing, with the Fried Goat Cheese appetizer and the Spinach Ravioli entre as my to favorites.
Great patio seating. Wonderful service. Interesting choices on menu.
Good meal with good service. Would come back next time I’m in town. Ordered the duck, duck goat flatbread which was tasty.
The wait staff, Clark, was attentive and helpful in our choices. He was delightful to talk with. The food and wine were excellent!
I could have eaten 3-4 servings of the brussel sprouts alone. Terrific!!!
Our party of 4 got very quiet after the food arrived except for sounds of appreciation- yummmm, yumm.
Our server was funny and polite.
Will def be back
Lovely location with attentive staff and imaginative menu.
Very good food, view, and service. Waitstaff recommended the trout Provençal and it was excellent, as was the Tunisian Pork Tenderloin. Our second visit and we will be back.
Food was outstanding. Staff was courteous and attentive.
We had a great time - the food was amazing, and Desiree was a friendly and attentive server!
Delicious, unique food. Need to go back to try more. Highly recommend. Great atmosphere & service.
Great spot! Went on a double date with our best friends. Food was exceptional. Service was good enough — didn’t want for anything but our server wasn’t super engaging. No biggie. Conversation was challenging at times due to noise level. Would go back!
Excellent food and service. Two small negatives....the restaurant is noisy and hard to find.
Food and service was great!
We finally we made it over to Lazy Goat, and it did not disappoint!! So worth it!!
The food was disappointing! The server, and the location were amazing! I just wish we had liked it more.
The food was fantastic! I got pasta, it was homemade, very good dish and my wife got the beef and she enjoyed that as well. We picked a great wine. The server was very attentive and gave us really great service!!! We always enjoy coming here. One of our favorite restaurants downtown by far.
Great location, great menu, scenery, vibe and more. Service was very slow and drinks not refilled for 20 minutes at a time.
We had ravioli di spinaci with steak. It was delicious, the flank steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly. We’d definitely order that again!
Fantastic! We enjoyed the ambience and the food and service was equally as good. Super enjoyable!
Every part of the meal from appetizers to desserts was outstanding. Service was very helpful and knowledgeable. I highly recommend the Lazy Goat!
Lazy Goat was great, we arrived 15 minutes early for our reservation but were seated right away, we were there right at opening time. We have a family member with a food allergy and the server was very helpful, accommodating and very informative about the menu items and ingredients which helped us relax and enjoy our meal. We were able to seat outside and enjoy the beautiful view. The food was great as well as dessert and the red sangria.
Food was great, drinks went empty quite a bit. Would return
Wonderful dishes with unique flavors.
Nice restaurant, good food. Short staffed so even with reservation we weren’t seated quickly. Hostess not very friendly.
