Our server was friendly & very good. Started with the goat cheese appetizer, very tasty I had a vegetarian bowl with falafel that was delicious! My guy had the steak and it was tender, tasty & cooked to perfection. Was not that expensive either. Highly recommend Lazy Goat!
I took my mom to Lazy Goat on Mother’s Day and we thoroughly loved it...from the service, outdoor patio and the set menu. Mom felt like a Queen!
Outstanding service from Lillie
This food was amazing, great views and great ambiance. The staff at the front of house reception were super accommodating when we had two additional guests at the last minute they were able to give us a bigger table. We ate the family meal which took the difficulty out of ordering. We got a taste of everything. Bring your appetite. There was something for everyone. We will definitely be back.
Our experience here was fantastic. Great ambiance for a date night. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly. She made great suggestions esp for me wanting vegetarian options. The artichoke appetizer was super yummy. My husband ordered the trout and loved it. We shared the berry sorbet for dessert. Delicious! The rosé she suggested was also amazing!!!!
We sat outside. We’re disappointed that the patio needs cleaning. Food was ok but not up to the usual standard.
Atmosphere is above average! Lovely outdoor patio....Food typical, nothing standing out. Had the charcuterie and b. sprouts for apps...they were fine. I had the smoked paprika pasta, which sounded amazing, but it was so salty, I had to send back. I requested just pasta with garlic and oil...it was still too salty to eat...a little disappointing since we are new to the area and were really looking forward to trying a new restaurant. Server was friendly, but I felt like other servers explained the menu in more detail. Bathroom situation is a bit weird...no exterior door blocking the sink area, only a wooden room divider/screen and bathrooms were not well kept.
Celebrated my husband’s birthday and had a fantastic meal. The service was excellent! Will definitely return.
High end sophisticated spot. Delicious and awesome atmosphere.
Great food and great outdoor seating. Service was great.
Matthew gave awesome service. Food was excellent and view was serene. Will definitely be back.
The Brussel sprouts were so delicious and our pitcher of sangria was so worth the upgrade from a single glass!
Very nice early afternoon lunch. I prefer my meat to be a little less cooked but it was still quite good. Our server was outstanding! I apologize for forgetting her name but she was exceptional! We have booked another reservation in a month or so.
I am a vegetarian and didn’t see anything that caught my eye on the menu. I asked if the chef could create something with no mushrooms not such a strong fan and he or she did. It was delicious super lightweight and so good I received a stuffed roasted pepper stuffed with quinoa, leafy greens, falafel on the side with shaved Parmesan and a basil drizzle so yummy. And had gotten a picture of their sangria to wash it all down with. As appetizer the goat cheese balls
Highly recommend for first timers to Greenville! The patio seating was beautiful, right off of the Reedy River and also near a cute waterfall to the back of the patio. The service was excellent and the lunch menu had a great variety, allowing anyone to find something good! We had the lamb and falafel bowls for appetizers and they were good, but the entrees were excellent. Highly recommend the Mediterranean fried chicken!!! Such a unique dish! Overall, definitely try the Lazy Goat!
Appetizers were really good. Well priced, and very delicious.
But the main course was not so great. We got the Lazy Pallele, which was $20 We added shrimp for $8. To our disappointment the shrimp was rubbery and overcooked.
fantastic outdoor tables for those who want some fresh air. Food is spectacular. Apps are the best.
Was good . Loud but there was a loud band across the River . I had the duck , duck , goat pizza and was disappointed with the crust which was thick and not good . I wish I had chosen another .
We really enjoyed the place - the cocktails were one of the best we had recently. Our youngest enjoyed pizza margareta and we had paella and trout with trouffled fries - everything was delicious including salad. Highly recommend - we also loved the view on the stream - we sat outside.
Great dinner with amazing views.
Great times with with friends
We really had a great dinner with the outside seating, beautiful setting and food was outstanding.
Matthew - mgr - always makes sure all is going well - takes a person interest in guests. Carly service was excellent = great wine list - love the apps and the salads with either Chicken or Steak are great - beautiful views of the Reddy - love it
Wonderful meal, great time with friends, awesome service and we learned of the added bonus of half-price wine on a Thursday night!
We ordered our food at 7:05 and our food didn’t arrive at the table until 8:30. After waiting all that time for a very simple pasta dish and pizza they messed up my pasta order and brought me the wrong food. Just a very disappointing experience.
I am very sorry to hear that, and thank you for the feedback. We would love the opportunity to make things right, as we obviously missed the mark during your visit. Please feel free to reach out to us. Thank you. Ken Preston - General Manager 864-679-5299
We had a fabulous anniversary dinner. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable. The manager checked in on us. We will be back.
Second time checking out this restaurant, but such quality food! Their truffle fries are an amazing starter for foodies of all types! We had a table facing the water, and it made for an amazing date night. You won't be disappointed here!
Beautiful setting in downtown Greenville along the water. The menu is unique with a nice variety of options and interesting ingredient combinations. Highly recommend!
Great food and phenomenal service!
Great food and great atmosphere
The fried Mediterranean chicken is wonderful. Awesome atmosphere and service.
The food was ok .
Beautiful view on the river. Nice open atmosphere. Great food and service. Would highly recommend and we plan on going back.
Great food. Really nice cuisine & staff! An overall positive experience!
Lazy goat has just lost its appeal. My wife’s fish (NC Trout) looked like a thin piece of rubber laid across some chef boyardee sauce. My meal (smoked paprika tagliatelle) was pretty good but still just lacked the wow of what Lazy Goat used to be. The charcuterie board was actually the highlight of the meal. Great location and scenic view but unfortunately there are many better places in Greenville now.
We didnt receive any service after 30 minutes after being sat down at our table. So we got up and left . Many waitresses walked past us and just looked. We even saw people at the next tables getting refills on drinks and orders taken but nobody came to us not once.
We sat outside and it was wonderful!!! There were seven of us. We love coming here. The food and the service is fantastic and this is the reason we frequent the restaurant. But the view of the river is the ultimate for us. Highly recommend.
I was a first time diner at The Lazy Goat. Sat outdoors on the patio. Quite lovely. Had the 1/2 charchuterie for two. Very good. Wine selection was very nice. Ordered the spicy salami pizza and the steak. Both were excellent. The service was very good. Will go back for sure.
