Guests are invited to take their time while "trying a little bit of this and a little bit of that" or a "whole lot of whatever they like."

Excellent food, especially the lamb. Great place!!!
Amazing! Chef Wilberto knocks it out every time! Service was also superb!
Lovely service, excellent service as usual. Upstairs area offered no atmosphere.
The food was excellent and full of flavor. The lamb chop lollipops were very good, as was the chicken. I gave it a 4 though because the portions were a little small. The restaurant is open and full of light, but the high ceilings create a lot of noise. It was very difficult to hear our waiter at times. Service was good, and we were not rushed to leave at all. I would recommend this for a special occasion. Ask for a window table.
Had a wonderful night out at Lazy Goat. The food was delicious, especially the Beer Steamed Mussels. We will be back!
Service was excellent , loved the lamb and best Panna cotta ever !
Went here for our anniversary. All the staff congratulated us whenever they came by our table. Our waitress was awesome and made several great recommendations. We sat next to the windows and had a great view of the river-walk. Overall a very nice experience and we will definitely be back!
The Lazy Goat was superb! They made the evening special for Ott of town guests and personalized the menu for us! They let us take our time with ordering and enjoying company over drinks and apps and never rushed to move the table. Wonderful evening!
We brought our family from out of town . They love to visit the lazy goat every time they come to see us. The goat cheese balls and the frites were great!
Worst experience ever. First we walk in and no one even says hello. So we say we have reservations at 8 (10 mins early) and we are taken to our table. The place is only half full at this point. We are sat directly in front of a large pillar that blocked our view. I asked the waitress if we could move to the table next to us with a better view (2 choices within her section). She goes and asks the hostess and I am told I cannot move because someone else made a reservation with a request to sit with a window view... So I cannot sit their because I didnt ASK for a good seat?? Worst of all, NO ONE EVER CAME! So I sat there staring at an empty table with a nice view the entire time. The waitress was hit and miss. Mostly miss. Very pushy and rushed at first, then basically never came after the food. Had to go to the bar to request to pay my bill... I had the seafood paella and my wife had scallops with "beet risotto". Turns out that was just diced beets, no rice.. The paella was ok but all the shellfish on top were burnt to a crisp. No manager came to check on us. Will NEVER return.
Great! Went for a birthday dinner and had a blast. Can’t go wrong with Fried Goat Cheese!
Great food and service! Only disappointment was in the pitcher of sangria we ordered. We get it every time we dine there and it is usually filled with fruit. This time it had just a few scant blueberries in it. Otherwise everything else was great!
The Lazy Goat offers a variety of interesting small plates and starters and entrées for sharing. The hummus, sizzling shrimp, and olives were excellent starters. The Moroccan lamb and scallop entrée were both very good. For dessert, the Panacotta was excellent but the chocolate bread pudding was a bit dry. The service was excellent and they offered us complementary Prosecco for our anniversary as well. Overall a very pleasant dining experience. A lovely view of the Reedy River .
I didn't realize Lazy Goat was a Table 301 restaurant until I had to pay for my bread; what's up with Soby? Jiannas - pay for your bread; Lazy Goat - pay for your bread. Bread is the Staple of Life; you don't pay for it in a good restaurant. Bad form! But otherwise a very wonderful place and experience.
The paella is outstanding. I had the chicken and chorizo paella and my husband had the one with everything (chicken, chorizo, shrimp, mussels). Great flavor and large portions.
Visiting Greenville, went with my wife and daughter. Sat outside until it started to rain. Meal and pitcher of sangria was very very good!
I would go back again! Loved the Brussels sprouts, fried goat cheese, steak, scallops and paella! Desserts were yummy too!
Great setting, wonderful waiter, drizzled goat cheese was delicious.
Wish that fresh bread came with the entrees. Nice experience.
Went late didn’t expect to get food or service beyond a quick cheeseboard (which was great) had a glass of wine and we were on our way. Will try again but earlier and looking forward to patio dining.
The lazy goat has very good food but the problem is consistency. They change things without warning. Their waiters give out different information. This was my third time there and I’ve gotten the same thing and it always tastes different. Give it a try for yourself to see but don’t expect much.
We’ve been dining at Lazy Goat for years, it was one of our “ go to” places when people come to town to visit. We had not been in awhile, and were extremely disappointed this time. The salad came after the entree. The salad was very overdressed, the vinaigrette being so acidic I couldn’t eat it. We always order the Paella, this time it came out on a hot serving plate that unfortunately kept cooking the rice until it was crispy and inedible. The shrimp had no seasoning on them at all, the the dish lacked the overall flavor that it used to have. I left feeling completely unsatisfied and am not sure I will return.
Very disappointed in the noise level, cement floor and very fatty lamb. I love lamb lollipops but no one took the time to remove fat and gristle. Flavor of eggplant was good but over all noise and decor was not inviting.
Food was great (olives, Greek salad), but the lamb lollipops were unbelievable! Thanks for a great meal, we will be back soon.
Ordered apps, Brussels sprouts and mussels, Brussels sprout where in a teriyaki sauce and we’re good, but had been marinating in it to long and was to strong and salt, mussels where great, filled up on that so didn’t get dinner, great place to people watch walking around downtown, service was great,is noisy but that was ok w us
They were out of our first choice on the menu and didn’t tell us until we tried to order. Also service was slow even though the restaurant wasn’t busy.
Outstanding service, seated us with a great view of the river/falls, acknowledged my wife's birthday several times, paella was fantastic as well as the seafood entrée. Will definitely go again when back in Greenville
The service was great. The food seemed overpriced. Ny meal was very small. The paella my spouse had was very salty and everything tasted the same (just different textures). Great ambiance and the dessert was heavenly.
My paella was really hard, as if it had been under a heat lamp for an hour. Likely flavors would have been great, but who knows? Pita bread great
Restaurant out of majority of wines on the wine list
Greek wine dinner
Wonderful server and great food
Absolutely wonderful restaurant! The food was fantastic and we had a great time. We are already planning our next trip back! The fried goat cheese app is to die for!
Nice. I definitely recommend for a couples night out.
The tapas were amazing and our waiter was the best!
I ordered the Paella and there we hard pieces through out the bowl, presumably broke shells but none of the shells were cracked. The mussels were boiled for so long that the meat had evaporated. Very little sea food and mostly chicken. The taste was poor and the meal was barely eatable. My wife ordered the Paella with chicken only and it was also sub par in taste but at least it didn't have inedible pieces strewed about, like mine.
I have ordered Paella's from many, many restaurants and this was by far the worst I have ever had.
We also ordered Sangria, my wife red and mine was white? This too was terrible! Most sangria's that I have had had some form of fruit in the glass and a sweet taste. These tasted more like dry wine with no sweetness what so ever, except when we got to the very bottom of the glass. Tasted more like someone dropped a sugar cube into the bottom of the glass.
Had high expectations for the Lazy Goat, as I went their for my birthday meal. I was surprised how poor the food was and felt that I could have done better at Burger King!
Went here for lunch to celebrate our anniversary. Really nice setting and didn't realize it would be buffet style. The selection was great and tasted great as well. Slightly disappointed in the desserts, even though the donut peg board wall was clever. Was hoping for something a little more authentice with desserts as well.
Lazy Goat is our favorite place to eat whenever we visit Greenville. Outdoor dining has great river views in a pretty patio setting. We always enjoy the brussel sprouts appetizer.
The food was very bland and a huge disappointment. Our server was very friendly though. It was a nice building and location, however, I can say without a doubt we will not be returning because the food had almost no taste. We ended up eating a few bites of our meals and then opted to go elsewhere for dessert and drinks. There are plenty of other options in the downtown area and I would suggest you try out any of those for a special night out. It is a shame because we were so excited about it.
Great food and good service. Our only complaint -- and it's been the same every time we've gone for the pat 9 years -- is the high level of noise. It is my understanding that management has been aware of this but has chosen to do nothing. Also, we waited a very, very long time for two at our table to get their glasses wine. Finally, in frustration, the waiter went and unearthed a bottle from somewhere. The bartender didn't have the pinot grigio (!) Go figure.
Love this place! Great food and service!
