Made a reservation. Upon arrival it seemed we were seated in the section with families and sorority girls from the US. Observations led us to believe it is truly a neighborhood place. The food was incredible and we didn’t care where we were seated. Scotch egg and grilled cabbage, delicate and flavorful fish and crispy chips for the fish and chips. The sticky toffee pudding was worth every calorie. Service was shared among several staff, and efficient.

Delicious salad in lovely surroundings on a very hot day. Our waiter could not have been more charming or thoughtful. A perfect lunch.

Glad we chose Ladbroke Arms for our final taste of London before heading back to the US. This isn't your average pub grub. Everything we ordered was excellent -- nicoise salad, prawn linguine, fish and chips (best we had in England) and sticky toffee pudding. Impressive selection of beer, wine and cocktails too. The back dining room where we were seated is a little tight and warm (to be expected in June), so I would recommend the main dining room if given a choice. Make sure to book ahead as this is a popular place, for good reason.
