   Sent bacl the veggie tagine as the vegetables were hard; replaced with a passable Asian salad. The veggie burger was overcooked and dry.

   Chose the Autumn menu option, had the Stilton & Chicory salad, followed by the Truffle Chicken and ending with the Frozen fruits. Service was good without being remarkable. Food was typical ‘The Ivy’ offerings. The problem is that it’s all a bit same old hat these days. The pudding took an age to turn up, the waiter kept looking at me and sort of gave me an embarrassed shrug of the shoulders. It was busy with people, the decor is representative of the original but you sort of get lost in thinking maybe you should have gone to West Street because it’s really just a franchise copy. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a fan of the original and if you want to try and see what the Mother Ship is like then this is a perfect option. Luckily I know what the original is like and these satellite operations just don’t quite have it.

   Very good as always and the staff really attentive. Could do with revamping the menu but thats a personal opinion as we have visited so many times. However overall VERY GOOD

   Awesome fish and chips, espresso martinis, something for all tastes, great atmosphere, super friendly staff -highly recommend

   It is like being in a Parisian brasserie. Great decoration and atmosphere. Food is good, service is even better. I would recommend it for a typical French night out

   INCREDIBLY DISAPPOINTING There is no option for vegan, gluten free eaters with minimal understanding from waiting staff what vegan and gluten free actually is. Our guest was offered chicken! The sauce for the aubergine tagine is a bought in curry paste with flour in it…guests ate green beans, broccoli and steamed rice and after chasing some kind of sauce that was promised one arrived after they’d finished their meal. Rest of meal was mediocre at best (Luke warm deans and rubbery squid) and starters arrived 45minutes after we arrived. Drinks had to be chased too. Eat regularly at ivy and ivy Asia in Chelsea and across the country and this was hands down the worst experience in a restaurant in a while, let alone an “Ivy” restaurant.

   We went to The Ivy Kensington High street for my 65th birthday,everything was perfect,service,food,and they went above and beyond by bringing me a large choux bun with melted chocolate to the table with a candle in it for my birthday,soo lovely of them,we had one of the best meals out that we'd ever had,many thanks to everyone concerned.

    Really nice place. We did feel really welcome from the start. Staff were friendly and smiling. Service was good, just tables to close to each other. Will go again for sure
