   This is the third time there. I noticed they are slow on the service. Asked for the water three times to get it. Things take a long time to get to the table. Even the bill 😁

   we arrived early just two of us me and my friend. we were welcomed very nicely shown to a nice table. it was only 5pm we were offered drinks. these took about 10-15mins to come. after half an hour nobody came to us to take any order. no one even looked at us. the place wasn’t at all busy. in the end we gave up. left the cash for the drinks we had and went to another restaurant where we were attended to very nicely. overall a major disappointment

   Great way to spend first night in London. Everything from service to ambience was amazing! Delicious shepherds pie too!

   The waitress was very rude. She splashed water all over the table as she was pouring, did not apologise when I pointed this out and did not think cleaning her mess was necessary. The food was also very average. Won’t be returning.

   Queues down the street as matre d busy in the kitchen and not realising customers were waiting and it seemed they over booked as they were so slow. It took over 30minutes to get a coffee and they got the order mixed up. Wouldn’t go back. Will choose a different ivy cafe.

   Food OK. Service inexperienced - 20 minutes after our arrival still waiting for table water and still trying to place a drinks order. When wines did arrive they were the wrong ones - TWICE! Plenty of staff but not organised. Most annoying was the loud music - totally inappropriate and far too loud. Volume even increased as we ate making conversation difficult. Why you need music I will never know - you’re a restaurant NOT a disco.

    I was welcomed as soon as I got near door before even stepping inside. I was addressed by my surname under my booking and left immediately at ease. The waiting staff could not of been more attentive, asking me if everything was okay, would I like anything else and giving recommendations while placing my order including wine pairing which I always like to see. Felt like they were knowledgeable of the establishment and menu. For an high establishment restaurant, I thought the value for money was perfect, almost a bargain for what you get and the experience.
