   Service excellent. Portions seem to be getting smaller. For example, The heritage tomato salad was very small and uninspiring. Menu also lacked new dishes

   Our visit to the Ivy Cafe on Tuesday this week came up to all expectations. The welcome on arrival was very warm and friendly. We were allocated a lovely table and the waiting staff were very efficient and professional. We ordered a main course only, as we were shortly moving on to a concert, but the food was excellent, beautifully presented and tasted delicious. So our limited time at the Ivy Cafe was a great success and well-spent, and was the perfect start to our musical evening.

   Really enjoyed our dining experience The food was good, service attentive but not intrusive and the atmosphere was delightful. Our guests from abroad were happy with our choice of restaurant.

   I usually can’t fault The Ivy, but tonight the service was extremely slow, which I might forgive on a Friday or Saturday night, but a Monday? Come on. I didn’t get to desert for exactly that reason, which is normally my favourite part. Overall disappointing.

    We sat outside and were looked after by Alessandro, and Katherine, as well as the hostess. Wonderful service, wonderful experience. Perfect as always.
