    We had a lunch booking for 4 of us at noon We arrived early and was promptly seated We waited ages for our cocktails to arrive The food all came separately 2 mains without the sides of chips Followed by 2 more mains We had to start eating our chicken Milanese without the chips as it was going cold At 1.23 after finishing our mains were informed that the table was needed back in 7 minutes! Leaving us no time for more cocktails We thought the booking was for 2 hours After a long wait for our drinks and food we thought this was poor customer service for one of our favourite establishments Have visited Ivy Covent Garden, Tower Bridge, Ivy Asia , Birmingham, Oxford , Cambridge , Glasgow , Edinburgh We were celebrating my son starting his PhD

    Great food but the restaurant seemed short-staffed. Our waiter seemed to be responsible for half the restaurant and as a result we didn’t even order drinks for about half an hour. At that point we ordered our whole meal for fear of the waiter not being able to attend to us again for a very long time. Maybe it was a Sunday night issue.

    Service excellent. Portions seem to be getting smaller. For example, The heritage tomato salad was very small and uninspiring. Menu also lacked new dishes
