   Service was a little slow near the end of the night when multiple parties were trying to leave at the same time to get to the theatre and the student servers were at the end of their shift, but otherwise it was a good experience with good food.

   Had a wonderful experience here keeping in mind these are students learning their craft. All were very engaged in learning, getting better and asking for help if it was needed. What stood out the most was the smiles and welcoming environment not only for making your dining experience great but their support for each other. They did this in a very relaxed, comfortable manner not often seen! They all appeared to be working efficiently and enjoying it! I had the BC Salmon which was exceptional both in presentation and flavour! That they are now open during the summer is a bonus to everyone. Take the time to give these students a chance! You’ll be glad you did! This is a gem and we look forward to our next visit!

   The food and service were outstanding, the students do an excellent job. The dining room could use an update, but we went for the food.

   Amazing gourmet food for great prices. The food was outstanding. The service was great. Highly recommend.

   Went on a Wednesday night with 2 other couples to celebrate one couples last night in Canada. Parking right outside the door was great (free just have to register your plate inside). Service was a bit slow but remember these are hospitality students doing the serving. Drinks were good but the salmon and beef appetizers were delicious. I had the salmon which was cooked perfectly with a lovely buttery taste. The accompanying veggies were varied and cooked el dente. Yum. I tried the husbands lamb and it was also delish. As we were waiting for dessert, out comes a complimentary tray of 4 little desserts. A little fudge cube, cream puffs, baclava and strawberry cake. The cherry chocolate tart paired with port was a delicious ending. Best part is the entrees we’re all $25! Same dishes anywhere else would be $43. Go to The HighWood. Support budding culinary geniuses. They will be open all summer.

   As always, excellent service and perfect food. Our 13 year old has. It stopped talking about it - especially the desserts. Impressive

   The Highwood is now open during the summer! We were happy to dine with out of town summer guests this week. The lunch menu is delicious and the students are happy if you order a cocktail. Stellar meal!!!!

   Amazing place. Such attention to detail in service and food preparation/presentation. And the most amazing and reasonably-priced wine list. I recommend anyone who lives or visits Calgary spend an evening at The Highwood. It will be an experience you won’t ever forget.
