The service we received at the Grill Room was outstanding. Our waitress did a Great Job of explaining the different appetizers, cuts of meat & complementing drink options and was very attentive to our needs throughout our visit. We appreciated her assistance and kind deminear. We will definitely add the Kirby Grill Room to our prefered dinning out places and recommend it to Friends and Family based on our initial experience and Excellent Service! Thank you

Typically reliable food quality, like anywhere service can vary with each individual server although most are very attentive and do not rush the service.

We were last there on 9/14/17. I started with a perfectly made vodka martini and with dinner had the Oberon Cabernet. I had the Petite Filet Oscar and as usual, it didn't disappoint. Service was amazing. The waitress rushed out some bread for my starving post-sports practice teens. They each had the petite filet as well. BF had the salmon. Only concern was the escalating noise level. We sat in the back booths and it got so loud I couldn't converse with the kids sitting across the table. When we have sat in the bar tables, this seems to be less of an issue. Otherwise, as always, excellent. OH and if you go for birthdays, they give a meal discount so check on that.

We have been to The Grill Room several times. On our recent visit we were a bit disappointed. The meal option my husband was looking forward to was not longer on the menu and our steaks were not cooked to our desired request. The interior was very pleasing and we did have good service.
the salmon main was outstanding (apparently a new supplier), and the wait staff/kitchen was very good abt splitting some dishes for us. the "famous" white chicken chili has gotten a bit glue-y, however; either it had been in the pot for too long, or someone added way too much flour. an excellent caesar salad, btw.
Ordered Franciscan Cabernet cost $17. When I received it, only 1/4 of the glass was filled. Real bad pour amount. Food had no taste & super small portions.
The food was ok but not fabulous for the price. Although Ben was nice enough - he seems to take himself too seriously and was always apologizing - sometimes with a good reason and other times for things that did not require an apology - an explanation would have been adequate. We were served cold coffee to end our meal and when we told him, he brought more coffee, but it still was not hot. Because it was 9:15 pm, it seemed to me that they just didn't want to brew a fresh pot of coffee. Not really acceptable for a pricey restaurant. The Delmonico Steak had good flavor, but it seemed pretty fatty (and yes, I know that a Delmonico it is supposed to be a well marbled cut of meat. My steak had huge veins of fat - not just marbled.
THE FOOD WAS OK. THEY HAD TO REDO MYENTREE BECAUSE IT WAS PREPARED WRONG ( A STEAK). BECAUSE IT WAS DONE WRONG, MY HUSBAND'S STEAK ( A $40 MEAL)WAS JUST KEPT WARM, SO IT WAS NOT AS TENDER. THIS WHOLE PROCESS TOOK 40 MIN OF WAITING BETWEEN OUR APPETIZER AND ENTREE. FOR WHAT WE PAYED FOR THIS MEAL, I WAS NOT IMPRESSED WITH IT.
