Perfect!!!
Amazing cocktails. Delicious food.
We love this amazing pub
I recommend it
Music was a bit loud but service and food was excellent.
Very pleasant staff and excellent Covid protection. Food was adequate rather than exciting. Food in the summer was rather good so overall a recommend.
Lush place would highly recommend staff were friendly and helpful
Had a great time. Cocktails were amazing. Food was fab. Will definitely be going again. Great ambience.
Lovely place with a delicious food!!!
Best customer service!!!
It's a nice pub, the food is tasty and it's very dog friendly - which was great for us as we have a dog. The main downfall is how overpriced it is for a pub.
We wanted to order one drink each but obviously you have to have a substantial meal (each of you). We ordered some nachos (about £14) and a camembert which was nearly £17. My glass of wine was nearly £10 and the negroni another £10. All in all we spent about £58 just to go for a drink.
We would go back again if we were to go for lunch with the family, however, to pop round just for a drink it's way too expensive.
Plenty of space , lovely outdoor area , quick service
The Greenwich Tavern is a nice dog-friendly pub in a great location. We did however feel that the social distancing measures were not adequate inside the pub - some tables were very close together. We had a Sunday roast which was tasty, but the portion could have been a little more generous for the price, and the roasties could have been more fluffy and crispy and golden.
Excellent food - service was slow but the staff were great and apologetic about long wait.
It was nice/o.k we sat at the rear of the pub it was a. breezy cold day and the staff would not close the door as they said they were serving outside...so I had to wear my coat to eat and the kids were cold, not the end of the world but not what I had planned. The food was great and tasted amazing! The service was fine. The price was very expensive for what we had....£18.50 for a roast chicken dinner as said tasted amazing but it was a very small half chicken with 3 small carrots, 1 floret of cauliflower and 2 potatoes and £7.50 for a small glass of red 125ml.
Tasty sunday lunch but food is towards the top end of what you would expect to pay in Greenwich and drinks off the scale (£6.50 a pint for example).
Nice building and location, does a lot right but is the wrong price for what is offered, especially compared to local alternatives.
Disappointed in the roast I am really sorry to say. Brownie was more of a cake and super dry but the cider was alright. No one asked us how the meal was. I know it’s a tough time so I’m sorry for the bad review.
Lovely meal with friends although all the wine we wanted was sold out. Food great quality although steak portion size too small for my partner. Sticky toffee pudding was phenomenal.
Me and my partner had a roast each. She had the lamb and I had the pork. Food was really good and the drinks were a reasonably good price for the area. Staff was amazing
Very nice location and pub, and great service, but £18.50 for a small Sunday roast?! Very small amount of veg and only two small slices of beef. Very disappointed, especially when also paying over £6 for a drink.
Pleasant service, food average at best and overpriced. Best left to tourists who won't be going back!
I had the fish and chips. Fish was fresh with nicely cooked batter. The chips were nice, but although they are chunky, it seemed there were few. I therefore thought it was over-priced.
It was lovely to eat out. Great to have a cordoned off section outdoor. Staff were attentive and stuck to Covid rules well. Thank you.
Good food & good service - prices are a little high but it was a nice treat for us
Can't thank you enough for a lovely experience. Staff were really accommodating and made us feel welcome. Were attentive and served us all night. Moved us to a bigger table when it got a little crowded. Basically 10/10 and will definitely come back.
A warm evening allowed us to use the outside courtyard which is a friendly space. Covid precautions are quite good although one waitress’s mask had slipped a bit but the food servers wore visors. Food is good quality pub grub without much excitement. Beer is expensive but nice quality.
Cute little
Pub
Good food and location, tables outside lovely.
First of all our waitress was lovely and made us feel really comfortable. However the manager looked down on us and had created a rule that over 21’s cannot drink past 9’o clock in the evening. I’ve never been out for dinner/drinks and heard of this rule. Our waitress was really nice about the situation but the ‘made up’ rule made us feel very uncomfortable and we just wanted to leave even though when there were many other people drinking when we left. There was only 4 of us and only 3 of us were drinking however we were treated like we were a problem.
It was a lovely experience for a Friday evening!
Although we are still in a pandemic and a lot has changed - it was nice to do something normal!
Hi Latoya, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us your feedback. We hope you had a nice time, and we're glad to have played a part in getting back to normality - although we appreciate it's still very strange times with all the visors and distancing measures! Hopefully things will settle down sooner rather than later so we can get everything back to normal, and we really hope we'll see you at the venue again in future!
Nice warm evening so we got to sit outside. The waiting staff wore visors but not many masks seen for guests. Spacing is good so pretty good for the plague years! Very nicely cooked pub food and a reasonable selection of beer.
Good practices in place for COVID. All staff are wearing visors. Its clean and the atmosphere is calming and upbeat.
A nice place in a lovely location. It's worth trying it
We had a table outside. This pub enjoys prime position just outside Greenwich park. Pooches are welcomed with water and doggy biscuits. My little puppy enjoyed ppl and dog watching. Service is great. Food can be improved - no discernible truffle flavour in the truffle and parmesan chips, with a modest sprinkling of cheese. No Sunday Roast either which was a bit disappointing. Chicken and avocado salad was very good.
Thank you Nicole - we're glad you were well looked after! Unfortunately we're not offering roasts at the min for a few reasons. We're only able to offer a smaller menu as we're only able to have a limited no. of chefs at any one time due to social distancing (we've only got a small kitchen!). As roasts aren't typically in high demand during summer we decided to keep these off in favour of more popular dishes. Our roasts will be back once restrictions are eased! Hopefully you'll be back then!
Cheap food and poorly made cocktails, all incredibly overpriced, will not return.
Only good for tourist or very local families. If you live outside of Greenwich and you're a driver don't bother. Parking is £1 per 20 minutes!!! Even on Sundays. Not worth it. Ended up driving to a different pub.

I brought my family during a family vacation, after having tried the place some time ago. It is the nicest pub next to the park, we had a lovely meal and staff has been friendly and careful.
Loved it and will come back!
We had a mother’s day lunch here and it was perfect! The food was delicious and really nice environment. Would definitely come back again and Dad wants to come back for Father’s Day!
Lovely relaxed atmosphere for our table of 7..
we also left a pot with money on which was returned the following day with no problem at all. Thank you staff. The food was quick and tasty. Sunday roast was delicious.
Lovely pub, lovely location and good quality ‘home cooking’ fare. Nice and relaxing, lazy afternoon.
Had a really nice family Sunday lunch, but dont eat too late or the roast beef may have gone!
Lovely staff and very dog friendly. Lovely interiors, great location and good food.
Our party of 6 booked for a late lunch on a Monday. We arrived slightly early and a table was free. The service was brisk, polite and efficient throughout. The selection of drinks available was fine for us. Some of us had starters, all had main course and some had desserts. All the food was well presented and arrived reasonable quickly. For such a 'tourist trap' location (next to the entrance to Greenwich Park) I thought the bill at less than £150 was very good value. There were no complaints and we would certainly return.
Our meal was somewhat marred by our booking being incorrectly recorded for 2pm, when we'd booked it for 2:30pm, so when we asked for our table at 2:30pm we were briskly told that the table had been given away (despite making ourselves present at the bar at 2pm...)
Once that was resolved, the rest of the experience was fine.
