We made dinner reservations at this restaurant for 7 PM 2 days in advance. You had to provide a credit card number in case we were to cancel our reservations - they required a 12 hour notice. We thought that was weird, but we continued with our reservation due to a recommendation from a previous guest. The following day we had a mix up with one of our excursions and we realized that we would be cutting it close to meet the 7 PM reservation. We checked if they had flexibility in hour by checking open table for reservations and they had plenty of openings. We called to see if we could push the reservation to 7:30 so we didn’t have to rush. We called four times in total getting a machine every time, we decided to leave a voicemail for the call back. On the day of the reservation, we tried to call again to which we finally got through and we were told we could not push the reservation due to another large party coming in at 7:30. We were disappointed but we understood and rushed to make it work. We arrived at our reservation on time only to find an empty restaurant. We were very confused that our request to be pushed to 7:30 couldn’t be accommodated. On top of it, they had a very small menu and one of their courses was no longer available and they had no specials. I honestly would not recommend going to dinner at this restaurant but if you do I wouldn’t make a reservation. It was not worth the hassle or stress.

Never eat Breakfast here, food was cold when it arrived and since the waiter didn't write our order down there were missing items.
Dinner is a completely different experience, good wine and good food with a view.

Service was poor- slow and never checked on us. The Halibut was totally over cooked. It was my birthday and the check was delivered before we even got a chance to order dessert.
Would not recommend

Very disappointing experience. The starters were good, but we then waited 50 minutes after our plates were cleared for the mains. 2 of 4 in our party were wrong. One order was made very clear that she couldn’t have truffles, waitress said no problem, they’d substitute another sauce. Instead they brought it out with truffle sauce with a different sauce on the side. Steak ordered medium came rare.
Everybody’s food came out lukewarm. Halibut was dry and inedible. Au gratin potatoes were tasteless and dry.
After screwing up our order, we were not comped anything.
Will NOT return to this restaurant.

Some items were well prepared. Others were only mediocre. All items should be above average at a fine dining establishment. The live jazz was very enjoyable. Recommended- the elk.

Loved where the restaurant was located. Beautiful setting. We had the Thanksgiving buffet and the food was really good. High quality food with great options. My husband and I both ordered a cocktail off the drink menu and when they arrived, they were horrible. My husband asked for a replacement, but I kept mine. When they brought him another drink, it was just as bad. Not sure what kind of liquor they use, but not good. The drink ended up making my husband physically ill. I was fine. I'd say order beer or wine.

I had my Thanksgiving meal here this year and it was a very nice experience. The buffet had everything I want on my menu that day! And for those who don't eat meat, there was seafood and other veggie options. The view was beautiful and it there was snow on the ground outside, so it was perfect. Our service was great too. Thanks for a great Thanksgiving meal!

My husband and I were recommended the Granary from friends who raved how great it was. While the view is breathtaking, our meals were both very bad. My steak was extremely overdone & flavorless, the roasted potatoes were cold. I didn’t even eat my meal & our server took the full plate of food without even asking how it was. There was another table with a full plate of food that was sent back after they were finished with their meal. Service was also slow, one server for the entire section of full tables.

For the price of each item I was expecting an excellent meal, but unfortunately will not be recommending or return when we return to Jackson.

overall I am giving it a 3.5 only because of the beautiful table decor and our outstanding waitress. This dinner was a result of a request by family visiting from NYC because exactly one year ago our dinner was outstanding. The menu was different this fall. I think the chef must also be different. There were 3 of us. 2 of us ordered steaks, which did not have much flavor and were so tough most of it was chewed for the juices and spit out. 2 of us also got Caesar salads which were served with a scant amount of wilted greens that were heavily saturated with a mayonnaise type dressing, very different from the wonderfully fresh dressing and crisp, abundant greens we had a year ago in our Caesar salad. The vegetables served were not noteworthy. The 3rd person ordered the lamb, which he said tasted good. He never finished his salad as he said it did not have much taste. The server Andrea was charming and perfect in every way. The young man that was pouring water was clumsy and sloppy. We asked for a carafe of water for the table and he just gave us the large stainless steel pitcher from which he was pouring. This meal was a huge disappointment.
The chef that night did not deliver the quality that we have received from previous chefs in this restaurant.

I really wanted to love this restaurant; I had been here many years ago and remembered a fantastic, unique and wonderful meal, complete with amazing views of the Tetons......unfortunately, this visit was very disappointing. The views were still fantastic, and the food fair, but nothing utterly amazing as it had been in the past.
I guess it started when the bartender couldn't seem to get our drinks right, I don't know what kind of alcohol he was using, but it wasn't the one we asked for.......twice, we sent our drinks back, and then gave up and decided to go for wine. OK, but our waiter couldn't find the bottle we desired, he had to go ask someone to find it, and after much searching, they finally did!! Phew! So, very parched now, we got our wine and it was great, our salmon appetizer came, and it was only lukewarm (despite the warning from our waiter to 'not touch' for fear of a burn! HA! ) So not wanting to be total pains, we ate it. It was good, but would have been better hot. Our bread was likewise warmed in a microwave........
I had the arugula salad, which was very good, but my husband ordered the cesar salad, which looked like two very damaged and strangled heads of romaine......I thought they had to have been grilled, that's what they looked like, but NO, they were 'fresh'????? and not that tasty. He struggled through the salad, and now I wonder why we didn't send that back too!
So, then the main course; I had trout, which was very good, but it was on a bed of kale or some other very crunchy green leafed veggie. Strange choice, and difficult to chew. My husband had the lamb, and felt it was good, but a little gamey and fatty. Very Disappointing. Just like the rest of our experience.
We declined desert.
We will probably not ever go here again, but go to the competition, Amangani, next door, as my guess is that the presence of competition has affected the quality of the Granary. Too bad. Mother Nature's views are still amazing.

Our meal at The Granary was the culmination of a wonderful week in the Jackhole Hole area, and a spectacular way to celebrate a birthday on top of it! Our waiter, Vlad, was friendly, helpful, and attentive. The maitre d' helped me pull over a surprise on the birthday boy. The bartenders were chatty and made delicious cocktails.

And oh the food! And the view! And the sunset! And the jazz pianiast/singer serenading the bar area. {Don't know if this happens nightly, but we were lucky to have had this added pleasure on Saturday evening.)

Elk tenderloin was perfectly named and served--yum!!!

Very disappointed. I made a reservation for my husband and myself weeks before our visit via Open Table requesting a window table, which to me means a table AT the windows. I realize that there is a view of the mountains from all tables, but I specifically requested a window table. My husband and I arrived 30 minutes before our reservation time letting the hostess know we had arrived and I noted that I had requested a window table. In her snippy way she let me know that they don't honor any specific table requests and that we'd be seated at a table that was available. I was not happy; I'd made the reservations weeks in advance and was 30 minutes early. So, my husband and I sat at the bar for a drink before dinner. Again, the staff was efficient enough, but not particularly friendly. When we were seated at our table it was the third row back from the window; I let the woman who seated us know that I wasn't happy and that I wanted to speak to the manager when we finished our meal, to which she agreed. Our server, Englishrob (sp?) was very nice and a pleasure to have serving us. My dinner of elk tenderloin was delicious; I have no complaints about that. My husband ordered the trout on a bed of spinach, which I sampled. The trout was delicious, but the spinach was very gritty. Not acceptable. No manager ever approached us. Yes, I could have asked to speak to the manager, but I would have expected him/her to come to me, the customer. So, instead I thought I'd submit a review. Overall, it was an just an OK experience. Yes, the mountains were fabulous, but other than that I thought the ambiance of the place was bland and boring. For super friendly staff, really delicious food, and a fun experience I'd recommend Bin 22 in Jackson any time.

Mixed review: rating 3 stars only because our waiter, Vladimir, was fantastic and worked very hard to keep up with his tables while having to support a large, loud group that dominated the dining area. The food was pricey with small portions but was quite good and well-prepared. Our main complaint is that that we made this reservation for my wife’s 40th birthday, noting that in the request and asking for a cozy, quiet table. Not only was the occasion not acknowledged but we were seated in the middle of the room next to an obnoxiously loud, large group. I was bumped in the back and chair by the family and staff at least 5 times with no apologies. Very disappointing for what we requested and how things went. I’ve had better experiences in sports bars.

Very disappointed. Made a reservation in advance and was placed at a table no where near window, but near the door next to the deck that everyone used to go outside to make pictures. We sat in an area all by ourselves and had to watch others walk by to be seated at tables where they could enjoy the view. ☹️

This was perhaps the worst "fine" dining experience we have had in years of dining around the US and internationally. I had made the reservation online in my name (Joanne). When we arrived my companion (Frank) told the server/greeter we had a reservation, to which he responded, "That's funny, you don't look like a Joanne" and then took us to our table, stating that they had two large groups booked for the evening and that "the staff are gonna get killed tonight". Rude, unprofessional, unwelcoming. We waited more than 30 minutes for our entrees to arrive. My "medium-rare" steak was done medium well, brown almost all the way through. The server agreed that it was over-done and offered to bring another. The second steak was nearly raw (lightly seared with bright red, uncooked meat for most of the thickness). The server saw this as well, and offered me a different meal. I declined and asked to speak to a manager. I was told that she was very busy and could not come to our table. I asked the server to remove the raw steak; Frank was halfway through his entree and I did not want to wait another 30 minutes for a meal for myself. We again asked for the manager and were again told she was too busy. The server then brought our check to the table while Frank was still eating. I noted that we had been charged an extra $10 for my vegetable "substitution" and I asked the server to remove this charge from the check. I had eaten nothing all evening. A few minutes later the manager arrived to ask what my "problem" was with the $10 charge, so I explained that as well as the entire fiasco. She apologized and blamed it on a "language barrier" because our server was Romanian; removed the $10 but charged the full amount for Frank's meal (pheasant, which was overcooked and very dry, although we did not mention this). What a terrible experience!! I RARELY return food, and have NEVER declined it twice.

We are on vacation and this place was recommended for its beautiful views and fine dining. It was perfect! If you can time it for sunset even better. The colors on the mountains are picture perfect. Our waiter was from England and he and the rest of the staff were attentive, friendly and responsive. Everything we ate was fantastic, but the lamb was definitely one of the best I’ve had. I also suggest the cheese, meat, honey and jam appetizer (can’t remember the exact name). It is pricey, but the food and view are worth the trip if you are in Jackson hole.
