The food was great and our server Hannah was outstanding in every way.
An excellent locally owned spot with great food and service.
This is simply one of the best restaurants in Edmonton. High quality food and excellent service in a very relaxed environment.
Good service. Good choices and selection. Clean and quiet. Decent value.
Always nice clean room and great service, and wine list
Amazing as always!!
Great menu
Superb Small plates selection
Warm cozy ambiance
Quick service
Needed to get out. Hadn’t been to the Glass Monkey in a while. Waitress was friendly and good to talk to. Place was busy, maybe everyone getting out before we shut it all down again.
The charcuterie board was very interesting with duck & candied salmon, really tasty but super huge for 2 (we did take it home). Duck sous vid was a great preparation, really tender, might have been the best I’ve ever had.
Excellent food, great service, good value for your money! Would go again and highly recommend!
Service was extremely slow and intermittent, found a hair in the food right at the end, even without that, food and drinks were overpriced for what you get. Extremely extensive wine list and server told us you could get all of them by the glass which is unheard of unless they have very old stale bottles. Loved the spring rolls
Very good, music could have been a little more upbeat but otherwise a nice dinner.
Great staff, food excellent, our favourite place to go to.
Disappointing evening at the glass Monkey. Our appetizer came out lukewarm instead of hot. The wine recommended was not good at all. The beet salad was rather boring with a few slices of beets topped with arugula and a few sprinkles of goat cheese. The main came out hot and was very tasty. We had pork cheeks in a delicious sauce. Our waiter was great, just the right amount of attention. Not sure I will go back as there are so many good restaurants at the same price point.
Brilliant showing once again. Great idea to host events on a Sunday, makes it special.
Two servers on a busy Wed nite (plus the hostess helping in all areas). Service was very rushed as the 2 servers were busy trying to cover the whole restaurant. As our server was rushing around, she quickly stopped to ask “is everything okay?”; after we were mid way thru our food. That was the only time she stopped by (and yes, we realized she was busy). Didn’t feel relaxed at all in this environment where the servers were literally running around. Needless to say, we ate and left.
Great comedy show
A lively place to visit on a Friday evening with friends. Enjoyed by all our group.
Service was excellent. Menu was varied and everything we ordered we enjoyed.
Our server was great, if a bit talkative. The ambiance was great. The hummus was very good, but the charcuterie platter was incredibly disappointing. The two very ordinary cheeses could have come straight from the Safeway cold cabinet. The smoked salmon was dry and tasteless and the plentiful pork was mundane.
I've been told to give it another try and might, but might not as well.
We had a great night. Darby was a knowledgeable, attentive and pleasant server! See you again soon.
We had a great experience at The Glass Monkey. The food was delicious, our waiter was friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable.
Lovely menu with a little something for everyone. Fresh from scratch. Inventive. Romantic ambiance.
Excellent food and service. Had to wait a bit because of the Valentine’s Day crowd but it was well worth it.
Valentine’s Day
Food and service was excellent. The price was very fair and we enjoyed our night
I love the staff! Truly the best. They make you feel welcome and at home from the minute you arrive to the moment you leave. The food is delicious and the portions are generous. Great, great place!
Great food, great service. Staff knowledgeable about Gluten Free foods. Will definitely be back!
Shared several dishes between four people. Enjoyed each and every dish. I think the favourite was the Korean Rice Cakes. It’s actually nothing like what you would imagine to be a rice cake, more like tubes of pasta made from rice in a very flavourful Korean sauce. Delicious! Interesting cocktails as well. Only downside to the evening was the large group seated beside us who were very loud and made it difficult to have a conversation. Luckily they left halfway through our meal. Three Boars serves high quality food, innovatively prepared, and we thought it was very good value for the money in comparison to many other places.
Excellent value for money. The Jack's Grill Bread Pudding is divine.
Had very nice get together with dear friends. Waitress was fabulous. Did not rush us, when friends a few minutes late. Wine list is excellent as is beer list. Food was excellent as well. We all had a great time and went home well fed. Will return!!!
I always enjoy dining here. Love the dinner specials which are so varied and always delicious.
Great food, reasonably priced. Good beer selection. Great wine list.
We had a reservation for 5:30 on a Friday night. When we arrived we had a brief wait as the table was made ready. We were served quickly, although because it was very noisy, it was difficult to hear the server, so we had to ask several times that they speak louder.
The food was good - my guest had a burger and I had several small plates. It should be noted that the small plates are very small, so after 2 plates arrived, I ordered a third. All the food was tasty and well prepared. In the end, the 3 small plates with dessert was over $40. Be aware.
We felt that the portion size was a bit small for the price.
Always a great place to meet friends! We really enjoyed the comedy night event and will definitely be coming to the next one!
We celebrated our anniversary and had a great evening. Food Service and Drink were all awesome. Well done to the staff and management. especially like the way we could order a number of small dishes to share and enjoy
Very tasty food. The service was great. Music was nice.
First time to this restaurant and the owner made us feel comfortable and welcome! Food and service was amazing!!
Very loud crowd. Hard to converse across the table. Felt crowded.
I was very disappointed in the quality of the food. The hummus was flavorless, the fish tacos were dry and flavorless, and the bread pudding which we had been told was the best in the city, was runny and had very little flavour. Also disappointed that the server did not question why the hummus was barely touched and the bread pudding, all shared between 3, was not finished. We will not be going back.
