The weekday lunch was fantastic value at £6.50 a head. I had four grilled sardines topped with salsa served with boiled new potatoes and roasted cherry tomatoes on the vine. My companion had the vegetarian polenta with stewed aubergine and rocket salad. All the food very tasty and plenty of it. Laid back ambiance. Cooking style is simple but excellent.

Good food, taste great and really generous portion. Love the tomato chilli king prawns and their famous steak. Always a lovely experience dine at the Ginger Pig.
