   One of our favorite restaurants in Pacific Beach. Their food, pastries, and special occasion buffets never disappoint!

   Lovely French restaurant and bakery. The pastries and cakes are outstanding! The French onion soup is cheesy and wonderful. Always enjoy the filet mignon, salmon, duck and lamb entrees! Wonderful service and a intimate dining area.

   I love this place. Our server, Gracie, was very helpful and attentive. As always, the food was delicious and the chance to dine on their patio was wonderful on this early spring day.

   Thursday night dinner for two was spectacular and a really great value in today's market. We had a really tasty bottle of red wine, chicken marsala, duck confit and dessert for $79. Our waiter was wonderful even though it was his first day. We always notice good service in any restaurant but Christian tried very hard to be responsible for his tables. Such an enjoyable night out and we can't wait until our next trip to San Diego just so we can return to the French Gourmet again. Food was delicious!

   I've eaten here several times and the food is delicious, reasonably priced and the staff are wonderful!

   Had not been here in years and what a disappointment. The service is terrible. They have one waiter, Nick, who was delightful, but one person can’t possibly take care of the entire restaurant. The rest of the staff are young and amateurs. Someone needs to teach them when you walk by a table and see empty, dirty plates you remove them…hello! They brought around dessert selections while we were still eating our dinner. The staff were all very nice, they just need major training. I’ve owned 2 restaurants and would be happy to train them…free. The food was okay, but nothing special enough that we would go back. My husband’s NY steak was absolutely tough and chewy. Sorry for the negative review, but this place needs some help.

   Excellent service and fantastic food. Seating outside isn't too loud with the street noise.

   First time here even though I've lived in the area since 2007. Great menu options for all palates. The desserts were unreal too. We had attentive service. Would recommend to others.

    Lovely little restaurant! Not sure how we have never been here over the many years we have come to this area. Food was delicious and the drinks were fancy! We were too full after dinner for dessert so we bought some dessert at the entrance of the restaurant to enjoy later:)
