The Food Market is one of our favorite restaurants. We had reservations for this past Friday April 3rd, but were unfortunately not able to attend because of the Corona-virus. If we had eaten there, I would have given a five star review as the food is consistently good as well as the service. Hopefully we will be able to enjoy a meal there soon.
Food was amazing and lots of different choices for everyone, no matter your food restrictions. The service was attentive and the interior was well done
My only turn off was the hostess didn't seem very friendly, but perhaps was just having a bad night, no smile, and uninterested. The experience overall was great.
Met friends from out of town to catch up. Waiter was friendly and didn’t rush us. Food was good but pricy for the size of the portions.
The Food Market has terrific food, I've never been disappointed with anything I have ordered. And they are seasonally switching up the menu which keeps things fresh.
Everything was phenomenal!! Jennifer was amazing, attentive and helpful! The food was out of this world and even the virgin cocktails showed care and artisanal flare.
Great service -- server was fast and pleasant, they easily accommodated my child, food was outstanding. Great brunch spot.
Beautiful restaurant and great ambiance. The service was one of the best I’ve received in a long time. Jermaine was so great and on top of everything. The food was delicious, decent portions and perfectly plated. This place is great for going with friends, family or partner. I will definitely be returning.
Always terrific and delicious
I went here with my girlfriend from college when I was in Baltimore for work. What really drew me to the place was the uniqueness of the menu. Everything we had was insanely delicious! I had the bronzini which came with whipped potatoes, string beans, and a caper/raisin/butter sauce? Very good. I also had the mezcal cocktail which had rose and grapefruit juice in it as well - heaven! My girlfriend had the crab cake club sandwich and fries, alongside some type of spritzer. She also enjoyed her food very much. It's a cool late night vibe with dark lighting. It's quite loud with everyone talking, and the open kitchen format at the back end of the restaurant, but it's all good if you're okay with that type of vibe (which we both are). There were so many other things on the menu that I wanted to try. Just gives me an excuse to go back :)
Great food, love the option of small plates. Like the complimentary parking. Friendly staff.
One of my favorite places!!
Great menu in a casual setting
Our second visit just as great as our first
Best oyster omelette I’ve ever had or omelette for that matter.
Great service from Brandy, good food, nice restaurant but tables are too close, hard to hear bc of people on your sides
Very loud, do not like unisex restrooms, did care for the dining atmosphere.
A hidden gem , one of the best brunch spots I have been to.
Parking is a nightmare because it's all street parking in a busy area. But if you are patient you can get a decent spot not to far away. Clean and well maintained interior. It have you that old Baltimore feel.
They take reservations which I highly recommend us less you don't miss sitting and waiting. I came for brunch and they have a nice selection of cocktails as well as food selections. A recommendation from the waitress was that I had to try the French toast dippers. they did not disappoint. French toast sticks deep fried in what I can only describe as funnel cake batter. It also came with cream cheese icing for dipping. Absolutely delicious.
I had a mimosa and the army breakfast . Fried potatoes, grits, eggs, bacon, sausage, and wheat toast. It was a healthy helping of all. I have a big appetite and I was only able to finish half of it off. The waitress was friendly and attentive. And for the price you can't beat it. Has to be one of my favorite Brunch
Love the food! Great service! Noise level is over the top. I couldn’t hear the person sitting across from me. Lots of talking and then loud music on top of that.
Love the environment and the food. The donuts included was a wonderful surprise! The French toast dippers where necessary after that, but the sauce baby, the donuts in the sauce was perfection! 100% this is a Baltimore show off spot for out of town visitors
One of the best places for dining. Very inventive cooking and you ignore the noise; the food off so good!
The crab cakes, fried oysters, lo mein, and everything was tasty. Service was prompt and the noise seemed a less than I remember. With the advantage of valet parking, we all had an easy, fun time.
Great food, great service.
Never disappointed with overall service, attentiveness, and especially quality of food. Out of town guest had heard of Food Market, and he was equally impressed. Worst part is parking, and they have valet service!
Great ambiance, great service, great drinks, and great food!
I enjoyed the ambiance and the great service but was not blown away by the food we ordered. My favorite was the griddled lamb porterhouses.
My husband and I went for a late Valentine's date. We had a reservation for a table but there was still a 10 minute wait due to it being a holiday weekend. While we waited, we found perfect seats at the bar and just decided to stay there. The service, food and cocktails were all top-notch and we are looking forward to the next time!
The food was on the whole outstanding except for too much salt in the Duck entree.
Service was great! Noise too high. Difficult to hear your table mates but dk if this can be fixed.
We had 4 adults and 2 children (celebrating a 9-year-old's birthday), and EVERYONE was happy with their dinner! The bday girl requested mussels, so that was the main draw, but the short ribs, burger, duck, edamame & tacos were all hits, too. Such a fun crowd for an early Sunday night dinner, even as early as 5pm!
Food and service was great as usual
The food is always great here, we got seated and served very quickly considering it was the brunch rush.
Brunch food was fantastic! Tables were close together, and it was pretty noisy - but willing to overlook because the food was so good!
Delicious unique brunch
Open up another restaurant in northern Baltimore County
Love it here! Delicious food and great service
A true gem. Never had a bad experience always out do themselves!
The staff was very welcoming upon our arrival. Our food arrived quickly and was delicious. We will definitely be returning.
Great food options and service, but the biggest issue was that everything we had was bland. No seasoning or if it were there, it didn’t taste like it did. Our server was fantastic and very sweet but again, the food was a letdown because it all lacked flavor - from the wings app to the entrees (short rib, shrimp, truffle fries). I’d be willing to try it again because the options were solid.
Truly an outstanding meal!
Great food and ambiance
